Shaun waited attentively, and started jotting down information as soon as trainers came up to present facts instead of accusations. Missing pokemon: -Voltron - Emolga with black mask marking, yellow boot and glove markings, striped tail, white eyes Suspected thieves (Rockets): -Fifi - suspected of poisoning soup. trainer who was affected by it reports that Fifi was the only person near the soup until it was eaten -Red-haired woman with Litwick - trapped several people -masked man - claimed he poisoned soup, stabbed Fifi, ran off and everyone who chased him fell into traps. armed and should be considered dangerous -man with tan poochyena (Arwen?) - ran after masked man, hasn't returned and was not in traps With that down, he sat back and waited for anyone else to come forth with information. He also offered, "We might want to take tally of who's here and who's not, Like, take note of if anyone remembers seeing someone with the group before but doesn't see them here now. They might be a suspect, or even just lost."

George had listened to each of what they had said, "It would be a good idea to take a roll call. As for Fifi, I have a hard time believing shes a TR member. No offense to her but she's an idiot." He shook his head, "I can't say that evidence isn't pointing right at her but being an idiot doesn't make you a TR member. I think we should keep an eye on her but it's still hard to believe." He thought about Arwen, "The one with the tan pooch, he did show up to the pit just as I was being pulled out. He came to help out but he did chase the masked man into the woods, didn't get caught in any traps and didn't catch the masked man. We should talk to him and ask him some questions. He is a suspect but coming to help does put a TR status in question." George thanked Cadence for her information, "Don't worry about the masked man, if I see him I am just going to shoot him. He won't be a problem from now on, he has proven to be a criminal so he will be handled as such." He looked around for the next people to come talk to them. @Everyone around "We need everyone's cooperation for this, If you would please come and discuss with us what has happened to you then with that information we can hopefully solve this problem and continue on with the trip or go home." He sat down and rubbed the side of his head. This was not fun but something struck him at that moment. "Hey Osmond, we should really get out of this general area. This entire area around the campsite seems to be trapped, we should move away from here to a safer location. On top of that, why is this area trapped? I know TR members want to steal pokemon but why trap us? Do you think they are making a play for the big pokemon at the top of the mountain and are just trying to keep us busy here?" Things were starting to click for George, it made sense, people getting trapped, rescuing them, falling into the traps it wasn't getting them pokemon, it was just chewing up time. If they had stayed trap that was one thing but this was something else, they were getting out of each trap.

Shaun amended one of his notes with George's information. -man with tan poochyena (Arwen?) - ran after masked man, hasn't returned and was not in traps did not get caught in trap, helped others get out He looked up at Fifi when George pointing out that they had nothing solid against her. "She is using awfully big words for an apparently ignorant little girl," he noted. "But that's no more solid evidence than anything else." Still, he wasn't sure what else to do for her. He didn't feel comfortable letting her free, her injuries were tended and she'd been propped up. "Maybe someone massage her numb arm to get the circulation flowing again?" he offered with a sigh. "Innocent until proven guilty, after all, and there's no reason to be cruel."

George nodded to Shaun, "You are right of course. I will go get her and bring her over here. She can sit near us but not in the way. That way we can keep an eye on her and make sure no harm comes to her and she doesn't create harm. I think this will at least help lower the amount of chaos created by these events." George went over to where Fifi was being held, "Ok you are coming over where you will be safe. We are not savages here, how we treat our suspects and enemies will prove that the TR members are nothing but cowards and criminals of the worst kind." He smiled at her as he picked her up gingerly being careful of her wound. "No need to worry Miss, you will be safe with the us over here until we get this whole mess sorted out." His one hand behind her back and the other behind her knees so he was carrying her in front of him. He brought her back to their camp fire and set her nearby so she was within his line of sight, warm but out of the way.

After finishing the amazingly delicious hot meal (seriously it should be against the law to be that amazing), Koorie stood herself up and walked over to where Shaun had joined the officers. "I do notice someone who hasn't come back: Doyle. He's the blond that the old man was giving a hard time yesterday. He went off claiming to go to the bathroom before I was lured away to help with a 'lost child'... which was a pit." She paused, then finally added. "I don't have any proof that he's a rocket, but I don't think he's all that honest." @ THE GROUP
As George spoke, Koorie's eyes narrowed. "If that's the case, and they've just been chewing up time to get ahead of us, then they have a near whole day ahead of us. Unless they were idiots and got lost, but I doubt that's the case; they apparently aren't as incompetent as some. She looked around and frowned. "I know we're tired... but if we travel through the night, we might be able to catch up with them. Maybe even get past them."

Shaun nodded to Koorie and added a new category to his notes:
Missing people: -Doyle - blond, last seen leaving to go to the bathroom before the second round of traps were sprung
Suspicions of dishonesty were not facts, so he left that out for now. Best to stick to what they knew, to try and sort out the truth from the accusations.

Osmond agreed with a nod of his head as he staggered to full standing. "Y-Yes, we should leave. As for why the area is trap, think about it. W-We're a hindrance, mucking up their plans for Pokemon capture. Why wouldn't they trap where we are? Heck, anywhere we are. Us good fellas can be stuck off in the background while they, ow, ow, make off with the goods." he mumbled. "Heck, I say we've been here far too long." He glanced to Koorie. "Miss, you're exactly right. If we start on our feet now, w-we should be able to catch up to them. A day may not seem like much, but heck, running can take your . . . far. Yeesh." Marlo patted Osmond's shin, a steady sign that he should take it easy, and nodded to the group as well. "Aichiii . . . !" His flaxen cheeks burnished a few crackling sparkles, something reflexive upon any surge of anger within his rotund form. Those Rockets were going to pay for hurting Osmond!

@the Group Keria frowned as she listened to the others chatting, why did thy bother trapping the trainer, it seemed that a few of them where still hanging around after all that masked man had been here hours after the pokemon went missing, while it could be just to get more of them traped the trainers didn't seem willing to move on without their pokemon....wait. "Hey guys, I just though of something, what if theres isn't a legendary at all? I heard the cry coming from the mountain but I don't actually remember when it was decided that it was a legendary pokemon, and that thing we was might have been an illusion, It might have been a Zoura or a ditto. What if this whole trip was just a trap to get our pokemon? Team Rocket has done that before haven't they? I think my gym leader, said she was once captured by them when she went to check out the eevee swarm I guess it turns out their wasn't actually any Eevees." The gym assistant sighed at the idea. She hoped she was wrong.

@ The Group
"I been traveling with Arwen and Doyle both, and it is suspicious," Lexis remarked thoughtfully. "Doyle disappeared and we were approached by a gentle worried for a child. Koorie and Mortimer both left and Arwen followed. He returned but did not tell anyone about the pit trap." She stirred the food in her bowl thoughtfully. "He also did not end up in the forest trap. Of course, I been suspicious of him ever since he confused my Glameow for a Purrloin. A slip of a tongue is one thing, saying that you thought a Glameow is a Purrloin with a odd coat coloring just says 'I am lying'."

@Group:Shaun couldn't help chuckling at this last bit of information. "Not everyone knows every pokemon, and they are both cat-likes ones with predominantly purple coloration. It's an understandable mistake, so I wouldn't necessarily count that as evidence. But your first bit sounds solid." He added that info to his notes: -man with tan poochyena (Arwen) - ran after masked man, hasn't returned and was not in traps. also investigated a reported lost child that turned out to be a trap, did not get caught and returned without telling anyone about trap Then Shaun considered Keria's point. "Well, we do know a pokemon was there, that's for sure. We all saw it and heard it, and I took a picture of it, distant and blurry though it is. But you're right, there are pokemon known for appearing to be other pokemon. And with all the trickery going on, it wouldn't surprise me if that was a hoax." He paused, tapping his chin with the end of his pencil. "Still, if they were keeping us here to catch more of our pokemon, we would probably be missing more than were gone this morning. Has anyone had a pokemon stolen since we woke up?"

Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
While she could understand the need to note things down, was it necessary to do it now? And why were the "officers" stepping up now. What had they been doing this whole time? That was suspicious as well, but people had finally stopped accusing each other, more or less, and she wasn't about to start that up again.
She toyed with a coin, paying only slight attention to what the group was saying. She was just waiting for them to decide to head out, and if that didn't come soon, maybe she'd just go off on her own. It couldn't be any more dangerous than sticking around here.

Simon had been with the group this whole time, forcing himself to stay silent and contain his rage as his team members were rooted out in suspicion, flee themselves, or simply melt into the shadows like he did. Those idiots, he told them to be careful. It was interesting to note how awful this group was becoming, though. Poor vapid Fifi seemed to be the center of a sudden hurricane of hurt when she was the least suspicious of them all. None of them had any real proof that any of them were Rockets, well maybe anyone who saw who set the traps off, which apparently some people did...
Still, he had not been able to execute his trap just yet. He wasn't sure if it was any help at this point, or if he should just instead stay with the group as the quiet trainer boy who didn't like to keep his pokemon out. It seemed that was his best bet. He was furious that the other agents on this mission were about to mess up everything he had worked for. If this mission went completely belly-up, he was sure to get most of the blame. Maybe he should just take the stolen pokemon and run back to the base; the legendary was likely to completely out of anyone's hands by now. Maybe just take the group forward himself? Completely ridiculous.
For now, he stayed and listened. None could acuse him of anything at this point.

More fussing and accusations and not a single person who appeared to care about what was really important. Dora finished fetching out her MREs with the aid of the little duskull - it was being surprisingly sweet, maybe it felt bad for her missing Mordred? - and tossed one to Jack. Other than getting the food set up, she had no intention of talking to or accusing anyone. What good would all this ridiculous behavior do? It wasn't finding the missing, it wasn't getting them back, so who cared about this?

Jack munched hers once it was ready, looking back, before looking to Dora again idly. She was annoyed, still, and tempted to raise her voice. "Ought to smack the lot of them." The Duskull settled on Dora, purring. Peeerch.
