*Shortstraw thought about it, "eh I guess if i nee dyou i'll just call. Besides i'll have my hands full with these two." He smiled, "i suppose you can have the day off." Meanwhile veria got back on the bed, "alright shortystraw, lay back, close your eyes and don't move okay. It will sting alittle." He nodded and layed back meanwhile veria simply used her fingernail to cut shortstraws skin like it was a small sergical blade. She then spit into it, "this will numb the area. But tingle alittle." She worened as she then used her hand to hold open the wound. She pointed at the pink tissue, fromt he red tissue, "See the red, thats muscle tissue. Undernieth that is where the bone is." She then streached her hand around the mucle, "each mucule in the body has a enter point, the leg is usally inword to the center part of the body." she moved the mucle aside. "Now you see the white. This is the bone. See here, thats a tendion, the area between the bone. Shortstraws problem is it's jagged slightly to the left into the tendion. So we will just have to reset it." In no time she put everythin gback and held his flesh together, "and incase your wondering where the blood was, my poision controls his body, i just clotted it off. Anyways, now we just have to heal..." she thought about it, "wait that wont work while we are connected. Okay we will just make a cast." She chukkled and stated to put a rap on his leg tightly before finally he looked to them, "okay... about that breakfast... i pass."

Kiera grinned and rolled her eyes comically. "Wimp." Asher decided to leave the room at this point. They clearly had themselves sorted. And she wanted to see if Cyril was awake. As she trailed downstairs, first she was greeted by Mai, then as she padded into the kitchen, she found Cyril not to be there. Neither in the living room. She supposed he'd gone out to get some supplies or something. But just in case, Asher decided that she'd track him. Asher didn't trust him at the moment. Not after what he told her the night before.

*Veria shrugged, "sorry i guess i see food diffrently then you two." She stepped back, "well test out your leg. It wil hurt at first but it should be better then before." He nodded and slowly go t off the bed and too his feet, "Yea... it does feel weird. But i'll take it. Thanks." Veria then looked to Keria, "your call sister. Eat? Or tools? Which first?"

Kiera shrugged. "I'm not too hungry. So I'd prefer to go get the tools first." She yawned and rubbed her eyes. "I guess it doesn't really matter."
As Asher began in town looking for Cyril, she first checked in the store where he got all the food. After some time looking and eventually being kicked out for being mistaken as an actual cat, she sighed and sat by the large tree in the center of the square. She couldn't even sense his aura any more. It was here before, but not now. This was hopeless. She didn't know where he would go. Asher spied down one of the alleys opposite to where she was sitting, and she saw someone sitting down, hands in their pockets, leaning against the wall, hood up. Red jacket. Hadn't she seen that somewhere before? Normal street urchins didn't wear something so bright, in fear that they may attract attention to themselves. Then the person looked over to Asher, and grinned. Asher stared deep into the persons eyes, just as he did her.

*The three headed out into town. However as they walked veria kept her eyes ont he ground and walked beside keria quietly. "I am not use to being around so many squishys..." she mumbled as they walked. Meanwhile as they headed to the store, shortstraw int he lead the kid were throwing rocks at the back of Verias head, "SERVES YOU RIGHT YOU SEPRINT!" they called as she ignored them and the rocks kept bouncing off the back of her head. Shortstraw turned, "hey do..." he stopped noticing verias hand on his arm, "they seem to believe that my sister has my captured do to misdeeds. There is no need." She mumbled to just them as a group.

Kiera looked back lazily, giving the kids an ice cold look, before she looked forward again. "What are we even looking for, anyway?" She asked, not all too concentrated on the situation.
The man stood up, walked out of the alley, hands still in his pockets. He was tall and lanky, and towered over most of the people in the streets. Asher watched as he headed for the store that Shortstraw and the others were in. Asher's face contorted. This could be the guy that Cyril had described. Just to make sure, she discreetly followed on behind him for now.

Shortstraw led theminto the store. At first everything seemed to stop and turn it's head due to veira walking in. Before they noticed keria and felt safe to carry on. Shortstraw looked to veria. "When i enter a store many run, i do not enter public places often. However we are here for whatever i may see that will surfice as equipment to work on this shacal." She replied in her low vioce. Moments later they headed up to the counter. Veria placed a few things on the counter as the man looked to it alittle mockingly. Well... lets see here... a nut pick, a butter knife, a paperclip off the floor, oh and a swise knife." He chukkled, "is that all?" Veria blushed and spoke lowly again, "i have never done this before. Usally when i enter people run and i have no need to buy an item." Shortstraw looked to veria, "There was no other things you needed?" Veria shied, "i think this will do with the things i have in my room." The man shrugged and looked to keria witha smile, "i see your teaching your sister a lession Ms Keria." he seemed overjoyed and for some reasion save. meanwhile veria kept her head low in embaricment.

Kiera frowned at the man at the counter. "I'm not teaching her anything. And I really don't appreciate you giving my sister a hard time, here. Serpent girl or not, she's still higher and more important than you. So you better learn your place. Before I teach you the lesson." She scowled harder than she'd ever done before she turned away stubbornly. She wasn't in a good mood to begin with, and the stupid public were just testing her patience. Well, whatever was left. Just before the man was about to enter the store, Asher stopped before him. The man smiled down at her, licked his lips, then picked her up by her collar and dragged her away down one of the alleyways. At the bottom of the alley, they disappeared through one of the great irons doors and Asher was thrown back against one of the torn down couches in the corner of the smokey room. The man brought out a cigarette and lit it up. "Ah, Asher. The rebel daemon. Jack of spades. You're easier to trick than the book says."

*The man gulped and charged, "that will be fifteen ninty three..." shortstraw nodded and looked to veria as she pulled out a card, "dad had given this to me, but i have no idea how to use it." She mumbled as and swiped the card backwords. meanwhile shortatraw quickly showed her as she then payed for the item, gathered them up and was ready to quickly leave, she was so embariced. She wasn't used to people still staring at her, watching her every move. She didn't even know how to pay. As they took the exist however and headed to the castle. Veria looked down, "thankyou agian sister." she replied softly. Meanwhile shortstraw looked up to keria, "why so grumpy?"

Kiera shrugged. "I'm not grumpy." She puffed her cheeks out and folded her arms as she walked. She looked around herself then back forwards. "Just stupid people being stupid makes me angry."
Asher coughed and shook all the dust off her fur as she hissed at the man. "Who the hell are you?" The man took a puff of his cigarette before he smiled over to her. "Well," he started, sighing. "If your dearest Kiera is the flaming dove. Then I'm the flaming vulture." Asher tried to teleport away, but found herself incapable. He'd sealed all this off without even trying. And he didn't look like he was just about to let her waltz out. The man walked a little closer, then petted Asher firmly. "You're kinda cute, you know that?" Asher hissed again, and the man sneered. "Down, kitty." Asher back up into the corner of the couch. "You still haven't answered my question properly." The man cocked his head. "I just want to help. Why doesn't anybody see this?"

*Shortstraw made a face, "your grumpy and you know it." They entered the castle as shortstraw looked to keria and they stopped, "Okay i will need that book that you got earlyer yesterday keria. I need to go give it to ava." he explained. Meanwhile veria was thinking on how her sister being in her room would be. Perhaps she could descize it like she has before when shortstraw had entered. It would take some energy... oh wait... her abilitys didn't work. Good thing she made that cloaking device a while back just in case.*

Kiera licked the inside of her cheek. "Ah, yes. I gave it to Paradioa for safekeeping." She blinked a couple of times. "And I still have the other one you got from the thing that collapsed, too." She looked down to Shortstraw. "Do you need it right now? It'd be simpler when we get back home."
Asher's blood began to boil. "I said answer my question." The man didn't back down at Asher's intimidation. "I'm a friend." Asher almost laughed. "You don't seem like one." The man sat down next to Asher comfortably and took another drag. "You're just being a skeptical old hag. Open your mind, demon kitty. Things aren't always what they appear to be." Asher tensed. This guy really was a colourful character. "Cyril told me about you." The man didn't flinch. "Oh? The cute boy? How is he doing? I've been meaning to visit him and his friends." Asher stuttered. "Friends?" The man nodded and rolled his head back onto the couch, hanging his arm almost around Asher. "Yeah. Friends. Shortstraw, Veira, Kiera, Dante, Soflora, the lot."

*Shortstraw shied, "oh you gave it to him. Alright well then i'll just go get ava then and meet you two back down here." Veria nodded and lead to her room where she shied, "I do ask you keep your hands to yourself for safty reasions." She replied as she let the both fo them enter. The room was it's neat self, much lik eyou find normally. But veria knew it was only a cloaking device that made it more like this. She quickly grabed a few things and hurryed out of the room with a case of little trinkets, "thats should be all we need."

Kiera wasn't really concentrating as she was dragged in and out of the room anyway. And she yawned again as she scratched her nose. "How long do you think it will take to get it off?" Not that she didn't enjoy every second she had chained to her favorite sister in the whole entire world. Mind the sarcasm.
Asher blinked, then settled a little. She actually wanted to believe this guy. But the things that Cyril told her... "How did you know about all of us?" The man almost giggled. "How could you not know? Most of you are royals." Asher remained skeptical. "Yes, but Soflora, Shortstraw, Me. We aren't so wildly known." The man shrugged. "I suppose. I've been studying everyone for a while. You're the Jack of spades. I gave you the position of the Jack of spades. Wanna know why? Because the worst kind of people are in the Spades house." Asher hissed again, causing the man to smile whole-heartedly. "I'm in there too, ya'know. So is Amelie. The Spades are devious, cunning, two-faced." Asher huffed. "I'm not two-faced." As soon as she said it, the most twisted grin came out of the man's expression, and he licked his lips devilishly. "Oh, you're not? This is news to me, kitty-cat."

*Shortstrw met with them with ava, fully grown now, walking behind him. She was about as tall as veria right now, looking to be about 16 or so. However Veria shied, "no idea. It will take a while to mess with and figure out how to safly remove it. She put this on us to make us fight, so we would be weakened and in rage when we seprated finally, giving her the advantage. But just in case i'm sure she made the extra step to make sure it was tamper risistant, meaning i will have to take my time and remain calm while i work on it." She looked down, "i need to ask another favor of you though sister." Shortstraw took lead again as they walked out the castle.
