Devon shifted fully back and placed him hand over her mouth, coming into the light. He raised a finger to his lips and listened carefully. He could only hear a few nurses walking about over the beeping of the heart monitor, which was picking up in tempo. "Shhh. It's just me, Lark." he said, trying to sooth her as he removed his hand. "I didn't mean to wake you."

Lark heart stopped when the hand came over her mouth stopping her from making any further noise but it started up again when she seen the bright golden eyes and hear Devon's voice letting him soothe her after that unpleasant shock he had given her. She looked at him not liking the scare he had given her and now the question was how did he get in here without begin noticed she couldn't she the clock but she knew it was late from the silence. "What are you doing here visiting hours are over aren't they?"

Devon shrugged into a shirt quickly. "Well. Visiting hours may be over, but if I was hear before they'd let me stay all night. Now I have the excuse I never left. I can't tell them the truth, they wouldn't believe me." Once decent he say in the chair by her bed again. He'd had to sneak in as a wolf to get on the grounds. The rest he had to do on two feet.

"So how did you get in here of not through the front door like everyone else?" Lark asked puzzled because she knew he hadn't been in here she saw him leave and then there was the other question."Why were you in that form?" she didn't see what reason he would have to be in his half form and he had been panting

Devon pointed to the area where the window was. "I'm faster that way. Easier to dodge guards and avoid cameras. Plus, clawed hands are good for climbing. I needed all the help I could get since I had to use just one arm." he said.

"What if someone seen you?" Lark asked him a look of horror on her face as he told her he climbed five stories to get to her, "What if you fell your supposed to take it easy not be 007." Lark said exasperated she didn't even know a werewolf could climb let alone scale a building

Devon shrugged. "But I wasn't, and I didn't, so it's fine." he said, not willing to apologize for his actions. "Just relax. I'm here with you and that's all that matters."

Lark gave him a look but did as he asked and relaxed but she would get him later when she wasn't so tired and sore but for now she sighed and laid her head back down. "So now that your here what happens now?"

Devon looked a little uncomfortable. He had expected her to still be asleep. He was only here to watch over her. He'd slept only a few hours at his place until the need to ensure Lark's continued presence forced him to wake up and come. He took her hand. "We both rest. Or we can just talk." he suggested.

Lark smiled when he took her hands. "I want to talk for a little bit if your up too it, but if your not then I just wanted to ask two small things." Lark said squeezing his hand weakly. "What's the name of the song you always sing to me, where did it come from?" she asked him

"Well we can talk." he said with an amused smirk. "And the answer to your questions is easy to answer. It's a nocturne by Chopin." he said. "My mom is a fan of the classics. It's one of my favorites."

"I never would have thought that your a classic fan but for the record you do a much better nocturne than Chopin and best part you don't use a piano." Lark smiled at him reaching up to lightly tug a lock of his white locks of snow colored hair. "so tell me something else I don't know about you."

"I doubt I do that well." he grunted as she pulled his hair lightly. He patted her hand away playfully before pausing to consider her question. "Well I can't play any instrument. I've tried. Um... I like cowboy novels. Does that count?" he asked. "And what about you?"

"Well I used to play piano when I was in high school, I like to read romance novels and fairytales and I suck at any kind of sport but I do enjoy a good swim now and then. Your turn."

"Swimming is nice." he concurred. "Loved football, though it was a pain to have to hold back sometimes. Same with track too. But running in circles gets boring. I like snow. Hot days suck. Steak is my favorite food. You again."
