"That's right. I was going to call Anna today." Amanda said. "I'll have to call her after work instead. Oh well." and finished her food happily.

"You eat fast." Rachel said.

"I don't talk a lot. Timothy's almost done too."

Timothy paused and tinged pink up to his ears. He had just been really hungry. He'd gone to bed sort of early as well. "We should take it to the hospital. Um, though he gave us a phone number. We could call. It'd, it'd be easier. Um." and tried to remember where he'd put the slip of paper. They hadn't done laundry so he had to have it somewhere. He'd been shoving his own dirty clothes in his closet.

"Yes, invite lots of handsome men, and some women your mother can oogle at, Tim." Rachel said with a grin. "Wouldn't be a party without some eye candy."

"A-Actually," Timothy said before either parent could retort to Daren. "I-If I remember correctly, a lot of my old co-workers were actually really attractive, s-so... B-But Daren's right it's for relaxation and rekindling old friendships not just looking fore eye-candy."

"You showed us a picture once, sweetheart. We know."

"You know. What kind of wife are you saying I need eye-candy." Amanda said, hitting her wife angrily though hardly hard enough to make the other flinch. "Our vows said we'd be faithful and never leave! Why would you be so cruel?"

Rachel pulled the woman up, whispering in her ear. Whatever she was whispering slowly made Amanda become a deep shade of crimson.

"Um... right. Well. I'm done eating I'm going to go to work now." and walked out of the apartment and down the stairs. somewhere down there a loud squeal was heard along with a 'thump' meaning she fell.

"Well it's time for me to go, boys. Both of you rest well."

"Mom is that one of Daren's remotes?" Timothy asked looking at the little white thing in her hand.

"This? Nope. It's mine." and showed it off with a grin before walking out humming.

Timothy stared, confused. "I just missed something important didn't I?"

"What? Daren what is it?" he asked, turning his head to follow the other's movements. It must have been something embarrassing. But what could it have been? He tried to think but Aomine's next words made him stop in cautious and a small tinge of fear. "Appointment?" he asked, turning to face the man fully. "what did the court order us to do? Aomine?" he asked again nervously, gripping the back of the chair tighter than he was aware.

"Aomine, Aomine you cannot tell me so soon that I have an appointment. I thought I was done with doctors." he whimpered. Their appointments weren't with doctors, at least not the hospital kind. "A psychiatrist?" he asked, the fear draining from his face as his eyebrows knit in confusion. "I don't need a shrink." he murmured before moving to stand. "I don't need to see a psychiatrist, Aomine! I'm fine! I have nothing wrong! I just got out of an abusive relationship is all. I'm certainly not a 'special case!' I'd be wasting her time and my own! Time I could be using towards physical therapy! The court is irrelevant!"

"of course I'm paranoid!" he shouted in exasperation. "Andrew is out there looking for me most likely! He aimed a gun at me! I wouldn't be surprised if he wants to finish the job!" and ran his hands through his hair and paced only two or three steps. "I'm fine!" he snapped angrily. "I don't need therapy! I'm just fine! I'm here so I can recuperate! I'll be just fine in a few months!"

"I know! That is why I am paranoid! I will stop being paranoid when he is behind bars!" his breathing was visibly growing into quick short breaths of anger. It wasn't his fault. It wasn't his fault. he was a good man, he'd been a good boyfriend and why was he so angry all of a sudden? He stopped his pacing as Daren stood in front of him, Timothy trying to calm himself down. But the officer on break kept on talking, and talking, and talking. He needed to listen, he'd need an escort if he didn't, he really needed this help, nothing could be done without the shrink's approval. The brown eyes flashed dangerously and before Tim could even try to think about his next action he backhanded the other. "It will not be apart of my life if... I don't..." and as his sentence died his eyes widened, horror filling his features as he held his hand to his chest.

No he hit Aomine.

That made him like Andrew.

Brown eyes began to tear up but the man took a step back. he wanted to apologize, he had to apologize but as he opened his mouth to speak a strangled sobbed escaped it and he covered his mouth, shaking his head and looking away before quickly running to his room and closing the door, wishing it had a lock so he only moved int othe bed and curled tightly under the blankets. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." the words finally fell from his mouth in his isolation, tears falling just as quickly.

The man held back his crying as Daren's voice gently went through the door. When he was hungry. It was breakfast he wouldn't be hungry for a while. This only made Timothy cry harder and bring his pillow under the blankets, clinging to it tightly. He didn't want to be Andrew. He really didn't. He didn't want to be mean and abusive to Daren! Daren had helped him and saved him! How could Timothy be so cruel and abusive toward him? He couldn't continue to act like Andrew. He had to go apologize and explain why and not blame it on Daren.

After ten minutes of gaining courage Timothy walked out, still sniffling and teary eyed, spotting Daren and his split lip. That was enough to make Timothy start crying all over again blanket wrapped around his thin frame. "i'm so sorry for hitting you!" he bawled, "You made me angry and I didn't know what to do and without thinking I accidentally hit you and I really didn't meant to it happened before I could think and I'm sorry I don't hate you please forgive me for being a bad person!" and with wobbly legs walking forward, pressing his sheet to the bleeding lip. "And I made you bleed!"

The man continued to give soft sobs, wiping his eyes with the thin blanket. "It was just so awful of me. Especially since, especially since," Timothy had been abused and he'd been so awful to abuse Daren despite his kindness. "I really need a hug!" and clung quickly to the man, wrapping the sheet around Aomine as well and clinging to his shirt. At the mention of how it would be good in defense training he gave a small yet weak chuckle. "I'm so sorry, Aomine. I really, really am." and looked up, hands letting go of the shirt to reach the tan face, kissing him softly, pink tongue running over the iron tasting wound before pulling away, realizing what he'd done and blushed. "S-Sorry! I'm supposed to ask first! I'm making too many mistakes today!" and tears bloomed in his eyes once more.
