Jeromy looked over at Emma and was about to reply when he felt her hand moving higher up his leg. He heard her saying they could leave after they sang "Happy Birthday" and it wasn't long after that, that the cake was brought out. He sang along and when they were done singing he said, "You know, I never gave you your birthday kisses." He grinned wide, looking at Emma as she took her piece of cake. Then he heard her make the same remark about the ice cream cake as she had in the ice cream parlor. "Aww..... That hit kind of low there Emma." Jeromy replied in a low, almost whimpering tone.{{I'm lazy... xd Would it be too much trouble for you to do the timeskip this time? I could edit my post if you really don't want to or I'll just put it in my next post. If I'm on that long sweatdrop I may get off so I don't get yelled at for being on so late.}}

Emma giggled and gave Jeromy a kiss. Finally, the cake was packed up, the people were full and the sky was dark. "Goodnight, guys. Thanks again, thank you so much. I love you all." she said and took Jeromy's hand, walking outside with him. She got in the car and put the cake on his lap, "Well, we've got quite some cake left..." she grinned as walked inside the house, taking her shoes off and walking into their room,writing her hair down.

Jeromy got up and stretched before saying goodnight to everyone. He walked out with Emma to the car and right as he got his crutches put in the back and sat down he felt the cake get placed on his lap. he stared out the window the whole way home, holding Emma's hand. Once they were home, Jeromy heard Emma saying there was quite a bit of cake left before walking inside. He followed her into the house and to their room. He had to get out of that tux and stripped right down to his boxers before throwing a comfortable pair of shorts and a muscle shirt on. "Oh god it feels good to be out of that. It was choking me..." He said a bit playfully, but halfly meant it.

Emma came out of the bathroom, her hair down, make up off. She was wearing one of Jeromy's shirts. Emma walked over to Jeromy, putting her hands around his neck. "I liked it, you looked very handsome..." she admitted, her face only a few inches from his. "I'm tired, and kinda wanna go to sleep...Unless toucan convince me otherwise...?" she tightened her grip, brushing her body against his, lightly. ((Sorry it took so long, I'm not feeling too hot and had a thing in the morning >.<))

Jeromy smiled at Emma as she came out of the bathroom. He was leaning on his crutches when she came over to him and put her arms around his neck. "I know you did, but it was just tight and stuffy. It was the right size, but I guess I'm not used to wearing stuff like that." He said rubbing the back of his head from embarrassment. Hearing that Emma was stired and wanted to go to bed, unless convinced otherwise, Jeromy smirked and suggested that they have that fun he mentioned before dinner.((Could we just timeskip this time? That way we can skip ahead those two months we were talking about? And sorry about taking so long to post back. I was helping my parents with dinner.))

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Time Skip~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Emma lay in bed, panting, "I love you." she breathed, cuddling into Jeromy's side and falling asleep. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Two Months~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Summer had come and gone, the warm air fading. It was still fairly warm for September, but Emma could no longer wear a tank top without a sweater or a short skirt without leggings. As she was walking down the street, some guy was eyeing her. Slimeball... Emma thought, taking in his ripped jeans, rumpled t-shirt, greasy hair and ratty shoes. She kept walking and heard footsteps. Looking begin her, Emma saw that it was that guy. She began walking faster until she got home, "Jer! Jer, there was someone following me...Jer?" she called, not certain he was home. Shawn stood against the wall, whistling at the women he saw walk by. "There ya are, b*tch." he grumbled, seeing Warren and Barret's target; Emma Curneel. Time to shake her, take her and leave her to die. Shawn began following the red head, feeling himself stir at the thought of burying his hands in that long hair and making her do unmentionable things. He began following her. He saw her enter her house and swore lightly. Least I know here they live... he thought, walking to the gang hangout. ((Its ok ^_^))

~~~~~~~~~~Time Skip~~~~~~~~~~ Jeromy snuggled against Emma after that and he told her loved her and said good night before slowly falling asleep against her.~~~~~~~~~~Two Months~~~~~~~~~~ When the warm Summer air started fading and the crisp, cool air started rolling in, Jeromy grumbled a bit about it. But he knew if it got too cold he could just snuggle against Emma and keep her warm as well as himself. He was at home, just getting out of the shower, a towel wrapped around his waist. He headed to the room and slipped on some clean clothes before heading to the kitchen and that was when he heard Emma come home. Her tone sounded panicked and when Jeromy heard mention of someone following her, he cursed. He walked out to the living room, figuring that's wear Emma was. Once he found her he went straight to her, wrapped his arms around her and stroked her hair in an attempt to calm her. "Did you see who was following you? What they looked like?" He asked as he held Emma close to him.

Emma was breathing heavy, her chest heaving. "Ah...Well...He had black, greasy hair... Er...About 25 years old. I'd say about six feet, three inches? Sc-scary lookin', Jer, it was scary." she finally said, pressing her face into Jeromy's chest. She had never been stalked, or followed, and it was scary; disturbing. She felt safer, much safer, with Jeromy's arms around her.

Jeromy listened to Emma speak and didn't even think of interupting her; not for a second. When he heard the description, he ran through a mental list of all the people he'd ever met and tried thinking of who it may have been. There were plenty of people it could've been, but his mind wandered to the members of the gang he'd been in. There was only one person that had a description that was slightly like what Emma was saying; Shawn. Jeromy let go of Emma and apologized before running to his room, grabbing a knife that he stuck in his pocket and then headed outside. He then yelled at the top of his lungs, "Shawn, so help me if you're out there and you were after Emma I'll make you one sorry man!!" He wasn't sure it was Shawn, but if it was, Jeromy was going to teach that scum not to stalk Emma.

Emma gaped, running out after Jeromy, "J-Jer! Jer, don't provoke him, please..." she pleaded, grabbing his arm. Emma was scared, would the guy come out? Would he hurt her? Jeromy!? She couldn't let that happen! The guy didn't hurt her, just followed! "Jeromy Davids. That man did not touch me, he did not hurt me, he just followed me. Please, please...Leave it alone...Now, I'm going to wait inside for you, and you'd better follow." Emma's voice was hard. She walked inside, not looking back. [/color2
Shawn smirked. He walked forward, knowing the other two would be there soon. "She's got a nice, pert a**, that one. Her hips sway well...Damn, can't wait till I get her for a ride," he purred, checking out the red head's backside, knowing it would piss Jeromy off. Good. I hope it does. Shawn thought. He walked towards his target, seeing the knife. He didn't care; he had a few of those and a gun. You piss me off, you do. You're really livin it up, while I was in jail for 8 months. For somethin you did, you son of a b*tch. And now, we're gonna hurt you, too," Shawn smiled, cynically. ((My phones gonna die, I gtg for now bye :3 sorry, again, but I really can't write out too much right now >.< I just don't feel up to it, especially With my head pounding. Sorry :/))

Jeromy heard Emma seemingly begging him not to provoke Shawn, but he wasn't going to listen; not this time, even though he felt Emma grabbing his arm. His leg was no where near healed and he should've still been using his crutches, but wasn't going to give away that he was slightly handicapped. He hated Shawn with a passion and after hearing he was stalking Emma there was another reason to hate him. He soon heard Emma saying to leave Shawn alone and to go inside. Feeling her let go, Jeromy glanced back for a second before noticing the way that Shawn was looking at Emma. "You keep your filthy eyes off my girl you scumbag." Jeromy growled violently at Shawn. That was right when Jeromy noticed that Shawn was walking closer. Jeromy was just daring Shawn to come closer and he mocked Shawn a bit. What he didn't realize was, Shawn wasn't alone. "You know, I really don't give a rat's a** about what happened eight months ago." Jeromy snapped at Shawn and was confident about fighting. However, that was before he heard "we're" in the last part of what Shawn said.Warren and Barret had been out of prison for a short while and were determined to get back at Jeromy for what happened around a month ago. They where nearing Jeromy's place and they both saw Jeromy, as well as Shawn in what appeared to be some sort of stare off. Waaren walked towards them, almost slithering and hissed, "Shawn, you coward just kill the ******** and get his precious little girlfriend. That's what I told you to do when I got out of prison." Barret barreled over to them, right behind Warren and was prepared to smash Jeromy if he felt that Warren was in danger.{{Sorry about getting offline earlier and taking so long to post now. Shawn shook his head, a wicked smirk on his face. "Naw, guys. No need to get 'em now..." he drawled, walking closer to Jeromy. "You love your girl, eh? Wanna marry 'er? Get 'er a ring?" he asked, rhetorically. They all knew about Jeromy's upcoming plan, the whole gang knew what was going on. "If, and that's an if, she says yes...You might wanna stay close on your wedding day..." Shawn chuckled, evilly, before beginning to walk away, knowing that the other two would follow. Emma saw what was going in, but couldn't hear them. She saw the other two that had attacked her, a while ago. Her heart was beating fast; she was getting really frightened. Emma took the phone and stood on the porch, "I-I'm going to call the cops! Get out of here!" she called, a tear slipping down her face. "Jeromy, please come back..." she called, reaching out to him. ((Sorry if I god-modded >.< but, yeah, I'm feeling better))

"So what if I do you pr*ck? I can do whatever the **** I please." Jeromy snarled at Shawn. He took a step forward, yet winced as he stepped down on his left leg wrong. He cursed under his breath and then looked up at Shawn, Warren and Barret; afraid of what they may say or do if they saw him wince. He backed away quickly, not turning his back on the three and made his way into the house. He didn't even look out the window after slammed the door shut, locked it and limped to the couch, plopping down. Thinking about what Shawn had said, 'If, and that's an if, she says yes... You might wanna stay close on your wedding day...' The words bothered him deeply. Not only was there that chance that Emma may reject the proposal, there was also a chance something may happen at the wedding if she did accept.Warren and Barret glared at Jeromy as he went into his house. "Let that traitor go. He's not worth the time it would take to kill him." Warren hissed. He turned away, motioning for the others to follow him as he started walking away. Barret wanted to kill Jeromy, but if Warren said that he wasn't worth the time to kill, then he wasn't worth the time. He growled in the direction of Jeromy and Emma's house and then stalked after Warren.{{It wasn't too much, so you're fine. And I'm glad you're feeling better ^^}}

Emma walked over to Jeromy, sitting down next to him. "J-Jer? What...What was that?" she asked, nervously, taking his hand, gently. She bit her lip, nervously. What happened? Who were those guys, why were they after me!? she thought, growing more and more panicked. Emma gripped Jeromy's hand tighter, trying to calm down. "What was that...Who were they? Why were they here?" she asked, looking at him, her bottom lip worrying her top.

Jeromy looked at Emma as she came over and sat next to him. But he shrunk back into his thoughts and fears about what could happen. His mind was overrun with thoughts of Emma not accepting and that she could very well get hurt at the wedding if she accepted. He heard Emma asking things, but he wasn't sure how to answer them. It took a few moments for Jeromy to collect himself, but he looked at Emma replying, "They were people in the..... Gang...." Jeromy choked on the word before continuing, "I-I was in a gang and those guys were after me because they were all arrested because of things I did...." He was terrified the rest of the gang may come since Warren came and he didn't know what he'd do if they did. He had to protect Emma, but wasn't sure he'd be able to if all of the gang members came.
