You've seen the extent that I am willing to go in order to protect her, I am not in my right mind when it involves her. Even you said it, remember?" Atticus asked, referring to Shira's words about Atticus' reaction towards Mirai's kidnapping and then his reaction with her. "It isn't like they are really my family, anyway." he said, sounding a little sad. "I am not really human nor am I truly a demon, I am just a soul bound in fabricated flesh." "I noticed that you mentioned those three, but what about?" he asked in low stutter, barely even visible. "Do you care about me, Shira?" this time Atticus spoke louder and more weird then normal. Suddenly, Atticus would look up at Shira, his eyes deranged and a twisted my on his face. It was clear that his madness had taken advantage of his weak will and used it to surface once more.
