Returning where he had left, he gave no time for the pokemon in that area to forget about him ...and they remember him practically begging them to leave. So the fact that he had returned had enraged the creatures of this land.
Western Iron Island
If one travels from one side of the island to the other ....they would find the true face of the island. Where the wilderness and the pokemon had managed to drive away all human interferences ....pokemon here live and fight. The area actually overground in trees instead of the barren hills and rocks that people before now have seen.

Tsuki walked on, feeling the air of hostility around him. Any Pokemon here would've attacked him anyways. He continued down his path, Mankey on his shoulder. Archer had been out for the majority of the last trek so he would rest in his Pokeball. The boy wondered how Sai would fare against the other Pokemon here. Probably just as well as the others. He glanced around him, being careful not to bump into a Pokemon who got up on the wrong side of the bed.

Ada gave a slight bow, taking the pokeballs back and puttingall but one atop her hat. "Thank you kindly" she said before striding out front, hand clutched around the third ball. Once out she released the pokemon inside, Erion coming out in a bright flurry of light in front of her. It would be easier this way, covering the distance over to the west side in half the time.
Erion groaned, picking her up and putting her on his back. He jumped, flapping his wings as he took off. "> whats the place again? <" he questioned. Ada pointed to the side, "West, just go west. We'll land where we see a clearing" Erion tilted to the side, Ada holding her hat to not lose it as he suddenly picked up speed.
To be truthful, she loved this. Flying. She'd never think she'd have the chance to, but now that she had tried it she could honestly say she liked it. The feeling of the wind passing around her made her feel so free, and while flying on Thaleia might have been safer Erion just felt so much more comfortable for her. In fact, she felt much closer and more comfortable around the boys of her team then the girls. Maybe because the girls were newer, or a bit more...distanced? She just hadn't bonded with them much, that must be it.
Erion landed at the edge of the forest, that was the furthest he would go. Trying to land in thick trees, especially without knowing the area, was horrible. Ada jumped off of him, dusting herself off and motioning for him to follow. Impromptu would be jittery if out, and she liked having something to scare away everything else with her.

Though he still had a fair deal to learn about Pokemon Battles, swordsmanship was something Raven understood and understood well. In a bout of Hammer Vs Sword the need for evasion was obvious, but those with any true understanding of either weapon knew it was all the more complicated then that. The effectiveness of the sword depended on how you chose to dodge the weapon. One would imagine stepping back and out of range of the weapon was the best choice; however that took you out of striking range as well, giving your adversary a chance to prepare a defense.
Hammer's while powerful came with one of two inherit downsides. A single handed hammer had a short handle, and a small heavy top, virtually impossible to guard with. A large two handed hammer, even if able to be held in a single hand, still required room to swing around. Both could be countered by moving in closer rather then farther away. To succeed ones movements had to flow like water, one flawlessly into the other, and flicker like a flame, a sharp snap of movements almost impossible to follow.
Adjusting the his grip upon the hilt of the newly reforged sword, Raven would pivot upon his right heel, turning sideways and then darting inward toward Excell. The move was meant to be lead directly into a strike with the blade against the opponents ribs; however given how long it had been since the boy had been in an honest duel, it seemed the wiser to simply focus on evading the man's weapon as best as he was able. In a single move he was lay out or would have been if the weapon the older man used was anything else other than a steel hammer. It would crack the boy's defense easily and send him into the ground with a few internal injuries. Yes, if the man had carried either of those two weapons he was right ...this would have been a harder battle to deal with, but the man's hammer was made with a extended handle with varies areas for gripping ....enough to keep him from being directly into the fire with a cord that wrapped around the hand to keep it from being lost as it was swung. Though also allowing him to adjust his grip so that when it is necessary he could do the finer work that requires that he is very close up to the weapon without having to actually switch hammers. Then there was the muscles that went behind his trade that made him move with that hammer as swiftly as if it weighted less than most swords.
That meant that Raven's pervious thoughts were ....he assessment based on weapons made for war would fall short of the steel hammer used. It would swing once to catch him against his side ....the same area he would have aimed with his own blade if he had managed to make it past with the force of a Shieldon in full charge. The hit would collide powerfully ...but he would pull up out of the attack ....as he smiles.
If the boy had chosen any other partner than a fire type, or if he had used any other weapon than the steel hammer that he was used to ...this would have been a completely different ending.
"I see you are learning the hard way ....battles hurt." "And not only that, but your pokemon's type that is in that area ...your fire type ...also becomes your own type."
"Now that the sword has sync with him ...you can't switch it with another pokemon ....so you better make sure you take good care of your starter."
The man would put the hammer over one shoulder as he adjusts his grip further down and the length of the hammer extends twice over.
"Also, I imagine you have a few shattered ribs ...though I am not a doctor." "You might need to see one, or suffer for a few days with those injuries." "While your pokemon is in the hilt you have a pokemon's ability for healing ...so I imagine it won't take long."
"Though don't get knocked out ......even if you have a full healthy party you won't like the results. And if you allow yourself to be utterly defeated ...that sword will shatter, and your days as the seventh pokemon in your group will end."
The man finished.
"Though I have to admit you aren't sloppy, but, you have lost your edge with your pokemon being out front all the time. Practice that role yourself more, and make sure you stay light on your feet ....maybe the next time you challenge me it will end differently."
"You are dismissed." "You may head back to the academy or any other place."
"Oh yeah, the rare bone, you gave it to me earlier right?" "If you haven't hand it to me now, and we shall see about doing something about your wounds now instead of later."
He declares with an even bigger grin as his daughter came running back with a face full of sweat. Though she looked as though she was going pass out ....as she crosses her arms. She knew from their stance ...she had missed it.

A melody would start across the area as she step in ....as the area around her would seem to dance with the song of battle ....as the pokemon looked at her from above and from the same level all with malice in their eyes. As the music played ...it was their call to battle ...to war ...this was the third time that they had had an outsider evade their land. The first time, the outsider had come into their heart and then out again ...the second one had ....had had to run away, but this third time ..the wouldn't even let her step foot inside ....as their eyes glowed in menacing way from the darkness of the forest.
The sharp contrast from the mines she had walked in before and the lands beyond ...this place was still wilderness. It had been unclaimed and untouched by humans for many a years and when it was touched ...it had bitten back painfully. THis time though ...it wasn't happening as plan ....the humans were coming and going as they pleased and the creatures of this land wasn't happy with that at all.
This led to the master of these forest making his move this time ...as he moved towards her ...bending trees at his motion as the pokemon would come to a stop in front of her.
There was no way that he was going to let them through. His arms would cross as it become clear that was going to be a fight that they weren't going to get out easily.

Though a haunting melody would be heard in the air as it would seem that that was no longer possible to avoid as the master of this forest moved ...and every pokemon underneath his command would move as well. The movement of the Durant would be heard as one of them would appear from the underbrush and snapping it's mandibles at the boy it .....he wouldn't wait long as it charges forward. It was going to knock those legs out from underneath him ...it was going to force him into the muck for this was the will of his kind ....the will of the sound that stir up the malice of the entire forest.
It would not take being evaded well for a third time.

"Can't say drifters and bums made much for sparring partners either" Raven coughed, using the sword to steady himself until he could stand properly on his own. It wasn't just recent times which had dulled his skills; in all honesty he hadn't faced a proper opponent since he'd left Ecruteak. Practising every morning by yourself could only take you so far.
"I gave the bone to you at the end of our last battle" The boy would state after a few moments, steadying his breathing as he waited for the pain to dull. He quite clearly recalled throwing it at the man; unfortunately the smith had managed to get it with his hand rather then face. Still, the 'payment' had been given relatively early on in this quest.
At last managing to straighten, Raven would let his eyes fall upon the sword in his right hand...though the the flames still licked and danced about the blade, they seemed to have dulled somewhat. Likely a reaction to the boy's own physical condition at the moment.

The man would declares lightly as he takes goes towards his tool and materials as he took out the rare bone potion. IT normally wasn't this easy, but he had been fixing these sort of potions for years ....that was his payments for the job done.
As he walks back over to Raven with one.
"Drink this ...you will find kind of funny and it will more than likely put out your flames for about 24hours, but it shall heal your wounds right up."
"I drink it myself during those battles I happen to lose."
He laughed lightly at him as he waited for him to drink it.

Only Tsuki didn't notice the Durant. Instead he continued down the path, frustrated that he was forced to return. Infinem gave him a 'you really didn't see the murderous ant just try to attack you?' look as he rested on his shoulder.

The Durant jumps back at his opponent with a lunge that would make anyone back away. The bug's body going at hard against he soil ....as his feet skid and he lunged for the boy's back with a clacking of jaws that would make anyone run away.
This was the Durant's challenge ....as the boy tries to walk away ...the Durant meant to turn it into a run.

Looking at it a bit sceptically at first, Raven would do as the man instructed after a moment's pause. Put out his flames it would seem came as a colossal understatement. The very instant the potion had been downed the rainbow glimmer around his body would intensify, turning to a blinding white radiance impossible to look at with the naked eye. Within it a reversal of his previous transformation would occur. Igniting briefly, the boots and gloves he had worn would burn away to cinders in the air, as would the rest of the flame branded outfit. The entirety of his hair would return to it's natural ashen black, his eyes once more blazing like crimson flame.
When the light faded, Raven would stand there as he had before, garbed in the personally tailored outfit he'd purchased before entering the Academy, as well as the thick red cloak he seldom removed.
All in all, the boy found himself only able to arch an eyebrow at the whole thing. It wasn't exactly an easy experience to put words to...

Erion would waste no time stepping in front of Ada, looking the golett in the eye. Too many fights for his liking today, but if it had to be done then so be it. Impromptu would fall to this guy much too easily, being his type, and Specter, Carmine and that new girl couldn't take too many hits. The only other one who could take a hit from this guy was Thaleia...no, he would not expose her to such things. He would fight this battle gladly, and his throat began to rumble as he closed his eyes and focused.
Back where he came from, a terror in the skies. The creatures there (much smaller in comparison) feared him, or at least the ones in his territory did. This thing was minuscule in comparison to him, and if it beat him it wouldn't be without a fight. Erion growled, opening his mouth and letting out an ear shattering Supersonic. He'd knock that Golett into a daze before anything else!

What the Durant struck..... was a tree. Tsuki simply kept at a careful pace as he continued his trek, Infinem wondering how dense his trainer was. The Mankey let the thought pass as he thought how the cave would be. Tsuki would likely stay on the outskirts then rush back once he got the reapers cloth.

Tsuki kept walking down the path and saw the cave entrance in the distance. So far so good. "When is something going to pop out of nowhere and knock out half my team?" he asked to himself. Things were quiet. Too quiet. Things were calm. Too calm. Infinem was Infinem.
