(You can post it but you choose not to. Sorry for roleplaying without you but I figured that since everyone wants to progress forward that you could handle catching up with a few posts.)

"It probably does give you a better understanding but that understanding is permanent and it is a part of you now. Curiousity seems to get the best of a lot of us no matter how smart we are and no matter what it is we happen to be. Everyone's subject to curiousity and it can be a dangerous thing as well as the most idealistic thing as well. Forgive me but I have terrible memory when it comes to people's stories and I need to be told a few times before I remember their specific story otherwise I mix them together with other stories but why is it only lycans that you hunt?" She couldn't recall if she'd asked James this question before but she wouldn't be surprised if she had.

Sibyl nodded, accepting the fact that he had only come here because James had apparently left a huge message on the wall for her. "Yes, I'm aware since you've repeated it quite a few times now. Your words do not fall upon deaf ears, dear Jacque." She wasn't going to argue about something that was pointless since Jacque's point was completely valid. If he hadn't read the sign and had just appeared here out of no where then she wouldn't have considered him invited but that wasn't the case.

When Family Guy was flicked on, there was no reaction on Sibyl's part since she had next to no idea what it even was. She almost never watched t.v. so she just simply laid there on the floor with her eyes closed and listened to the voices that emitted from the piece of technology as the pictures played out. She imagined what the people would look like with her own imagination as opposed to watching the t.v. and seeing others' interpretations of the characters. This way, to her, was more fun since she could see just how messed up their interpretations were or just how messed up hers were depending upon how you looked at it.

Sibyl had been just about to shout to James that Jacque had replaced his cigarettes with weed when she heard him muttering to himself about it. Just because the t.v. was on did not mean that she had lost her hypersensitive hearing and she could still hear him outside the door talking to himself. When she heard him giving himself a bit of a pep talk about the t.v., she decided to join him outside in the hallway. She crouched beside him and smiled softly to him. "Having a hard time watching those documentaries? I know I do, I just get so into them and forget that I'm actually not there. It's insane sometimes." She didn't know if he wanted to be left alone but if he asked then she would leave him be.

Jacque grinned, and stealthily walked over to the door. Since it was already closed, it was easy enough to turn the lock, and pull the chain closed.

Returning to the main room, he muttered to himself. "Filthy."

Raising his voice, he spoke loud enough for those outside to hear. "NO ONE COMES IN, UNTIL I HAVE CLEANED THIS PLACE."

Finding the cleaning supplies, he began cleaning the entire place to a shine.

Sibyl hadn't been able to get up and make it to the door in time to keep Jacque from locking it. Then again, she wasn't really hugely intent upon returning to the room anyhow so she didn't think much of it when he decided to lock them out. Her worries were even less when he mentioned that no one was allowed in until he was finished cleaning the place but God knew how long that would take. "Alright, Jacque. Will do! I'm heading off for a stroll soon enough anyhow so I might be back and I might not."

She then turned back to James only to see him beginning to light up a joint that Jacque had replaced with his cigarettes. "You do know," Sibyl decided to inform James, "that you can tell me if something's bothering you. I may be a wolf but wolves care when others are upset just as much as people do. There are a few differences, though. Wolves are more in tune with emotion as they have instincts that alert them to others' emotion. However, most wolves are frightened of people as they are wild but if they get to know them then they will attempt to help as wolves are loyal. What I'm getting at is that I'm a wolf that doesn't fear humans and I'm able to take on a human form and even communicate with you so it's impossible to hide from me. Almost. I look out for friends and I can definitely say that you're the closest person, along with Jacque and Markus, that I consider a friend so I'm going to bug you about this until you give me a reason to leave you alone when I'm back from my walk."

She decided to try offering James her advice and tactics for not getting all wound up and threatened by the television or whatever it was that was the matter with him. "Though it may not help you any, I always find that closing my eyes and merely listening to the television helps. As for why it helps, it helps because when I watch the picture on the screen I begin to feel like I am actually there and I become almost mentally a part of the picture and forget where I am. When my eyes are closed, I realize that the sound is not getting any closer to me and though it gets louder, the source of the sound never gets closer. The picture overwhelms me and I often forget that it is not real but with my eyes closed I can make my own pictures and still remember that what I'm picturing in my mind is not real. Not to mention it is hilarious to compare your own visions to that of the television's every once in a while."

Sibyl smiled softly the the hunter that was lighting up on the weed joints that'd been replaced with his cigarettes. "You are aware that first off marijuana is illegal to posses or smoke, correct? Second, lighting up within a building such as this one, there's going to be people that smell that. Third, you can get high off of that stuff and if you get high off of it I won't be surprised if you find it even more difficult to resist the calling of the wolf within you. I hate to be a nag but naggers, as annoying as they are tend to know their stuff that they nag about, lest they be hypocrites. I certainly am not a hypocrite so I suppose that just makes me one of those nattering nags. As much as I detest babysitting, though, I do realize that I am not your mother nor really anyone in a postition to stop you but know that I do not only speak for the benefit of myself when I say this."

Most decisions that Sibyl made were based off of her natural instinct to survive as every animal came with it. However, just because she placed her own best interest at heart subconsciously because it was her instinct did not mean that she was selfish and only cared about herself. Her instinct was to keep herself alive but her mind chose to care about others provided her instincts approved them. "You know what," Sibyl said to James just as much as she said to herself, "I think I might just have something to help you that doesn't have tons of chemicals in it. Do you have a tea kettle for when I'm back because if you don't then I'll get one while I'm going for my walk." Her plan was to mix up a nice herbal remedy that both alerted yet soothed the senses, relaxing them. She hoped to assist James in finding some peace of mind through methods that would not harm him internally.

"Anyhow," Sibyl announced as she stood up, no longer sitting beside James, "I'm going out for a walk since that'll give Jacque his space to clean, I usually go for a walk after I eat and because I need to get to know this city one way or another. I'm going to be doing the whole tourism thing so I'm going to go visit that Saint Patrick's Cathedral since I've been told it's a nice place. Feel free to follow along after you're done smoking and whatnot or to come along while you're smoking. Whatever floats your boat, basically." She walked to the end of the hallway and went down the flight of stairs that lead her to the outside city of New York.

((He was smoking a pipe but no biggy.)

He stubbed the joint out and stood up. "That sounds good madam Black. "He said as she walked down the stairs. He turned toward the door, looking thoughtful for a minute.

He placed his fist on the knob and his other palm on the pad lock. He took a deep breath, counting to three as he did, then focused on the locks. One turned slowly. His eyes changing wolf, then black leaking into the whole eye as he did. The door sung slowly open. James stepped through the door way hand on his revolver. "Well well you should really ask before taking over a man's house. I mean I don't mind the cleaning or the weird instincts to find my house before I get here...but to just take over that is really rude." His eyes still black, the TV screen cracked. "Now please don't lock me out of my own lair again. I really do not en-" James fainted in mid sentience.

Braig continued walking around the high-rises, looking for entertainment. His senses, refined by scientific experiment in Russia, whirled with a multitude of smells, blood from thousands of humans, racing through veins. He was making himself hungry again, but that was the point anyway, wasn't it?

Jacque tilted his head at the sudden entrance of James. He had almost finished cleaning and he just barged in. Then he fainted.

Sighing to himself, Jacque took his cape, wrapped it around the man, and used it to carry James to his bed, at which point he left the cape on him.

He finished what little cleaning he had left, and set himself to fixing the window.

Braig decided to amuse himself by scaring the doolies out of the local high-risers. He lept onto a wall and walked up the side, peering into windows until he was noticed and greeted by choruses of shrieks. Chuckling, he made his way up the building.

After several empty roomos, Braig got bored and left. He decided to head to the Cathedral, and scare some priests. It was funny when they wet themselves.
((To the Cathedral. And beyond!))

Sibyl arrived within the entrance of the behemoth highrise and proceeded to the stairs, which she'd already memorized the way to. She was able to locate the stairs with ease and though ascending them took a fair amount of confidence, she was able to make her way up them though she was obviously hustling up them. The wolf had no wish to remain on the stairs any longer than she was required to and if she ran then it would make her ascent that much swifter.

Once she arrived upon the thirtieth floor and was walking down the long slender cooridor, she felt her claustrophobia kick in a little more severely. She felt herself immobile and she was too frightened to move. The walls seemed to be slowly attempting to surround her completely and suffocate her and this caused her to let out a small whimper. A moment later she made the conscious decision to shift to her wolven form and dark down the remainder of the hallway and when she reached James' door she shifted back, opened it and ran into the room.

Her chest rose and fell at a fairly rapid rate and though it was normal for her to be approximately one hundred eighty degrees in her body temperature, she was boiling even beyond that temperature. As her heart raced, she struggled to bring herself back to reality and convince herself into seeing reason again. ~The walls aren't closing in on you, you're just imagining it. You've got a phobia but the walls are not legitimately closing in on you. Get a grip, get a grip, get a grip ...~ She inhaled deeply and then she exhaled slowly, finally managing to control her thundering heart.

"I'm," Sibyl called after having calmed herself down, "back from my rather interesting walk. Having fun fixing the window in there, Jacque?" Something was amiss and Sibyl realized that it was due to the fact that she could not hear James doing anything. Instead she decided to catch hold of his scent and find out where he was that way. It wasn't that difficult and she realized that James was in a room down the hallway. She realized that he wasn't up and concern flooded her for a moment so she went to investigate.

James was engulfed by Jacque's white cloak and she wondered what exactly had happened to him. Obviously he'd fallen unconscious or something since there would have been no way that Jacque would pick him up and carry him to his room otherwise. Though Sibyl could hear the hunter's soft unvaried breathing, she still checked for a pulse to be on the safe side. She softly took his wrist into her hand and felt the blood flowing as well as she heard it. Temptation to taste his blood suddenly came to her and she mentally smacked herself for it and dropped James' hand. "What happened," Sibyl asked after dropping James' hand to his side, "to James, Jacque?"

Jacque finished fixing the window before even recognizing she was in the room.

"Oh hi Sibyl. "

He went back to the sofa and sat down, inviting her to join him. "I have no idea, he passed out so I needed to carry him, didn't want him to pass out in the hallway and get drugged or something."
PostPosted: Fri Nov 30, 2007 4:45 pm

Sibyl accepted Jacque's invitation since she did not think James would appreciate her invading his personal space and he probably wouldn't appreciate her listening to his blood and wanting to taste it while in a momentary lapse. That and James would probably be creeped out if she just stood there waiting for him to wake up since that just wasn't normal in any way whatsoever. "He just passed out on the spot without any warning?" Sibyl knew he was telling the truth as her instinct told her so yet she asked the question rhetorically anyhow. "Well that's good to know. At least you bothered to pick him up out of the hallway."

Jacque shrugged. "Not like I wanted too, besides, if he's getting taken down it'll be by me, not some creepy criminal deciding to shiv him in the hallway while he's passed out. Coulda done just that too."

Jacque couldn't find much on, so he switched it to the Discovery Channel, and watched "How It's Made"
