Ugh, now he felt like s**t and had to attack this thing still... Valhalla bent down to pick up a rock and chucked it haphazardly at the youma. Ugghhh...

Cough. Cough cough... this sucked... cough. Throw rock. Cough.

Camelot still had fight in him, though how much longer he could go one was in question. He charged anyway, heaving his shield above his head, nearly knocking himself backwards with the force of it, and throwing his whole body into slamming it down on the great youma's foot.

Because... what else was he going to do?

Everything seemed to be slowing down, his body growing heavy. He was not the most limber and fast of fighters out here at the best of times, but with everything weighing on him now he might as well been swimming through pudding.

He thought of pudding, and laughed a little.

But now was not the time for that.

[Avalon: 3
Gunn: 21]

"Hephaistos! I said... get. Down." It barely took a breath for her to begin her spin, sparks gathering at her fingertips again. If anyone knew what was good for them, they would get down--because even an attack from her wracked by coughs, with a thin and reedy voice from a sudden fever, would generate more fire than most Negaversers could shake a stick at.

Or would dare shake a stick at, really.

Her incantation was whispered from necessity more than from choice, and she laughed as she whispered the final words: Blow Up. Fire blossomed from her fingers, catching at least one Negaverse unfortunate in its path. Gunn could hear him screaming.

Weirdly, it made her feel much, much better.

Avalon, though, she was just throwing rocks and feeling miserable. Was it true you were supposed to work through a fever? Only time would tell!

Sailor Deneb Kaitos had been just about to curl up somewhere. Really, it looked like they were proper and utter ******** the beast... Rose again, from it's own corpse, just like a phoenix. And it was then that he saw it, hazel eyes wide.

He saw the raw strength of the power that now coursed through his own veins. It would not let him die.

He could not die.

And he launched himself in the fray again, eager to, as the pocket sized knife girl said, ******** s**t up.

Fluorite always had a way with words...

Really.

But Howlite's orders came, and Alunite listened, like the good little senshi he was, hands going to his obi.

The starseed. He very loosely remembered pocketing it there, only more vaguely remembered taking it.

It could be useful.

And, he had to admit... The more they fought, the more he found himself liking Leto. She had a drive, a fuel that simply did not exist, in the most past, in most of the other negaverse senshi.

There was comfort in seeing he was, in a way... not alone.

"By your orders, sirs and madam."

He was a weapon, loaded and ready to go.

He just needed to know where to aim.

Leo did 14 damage!

It wasn't enough to be wounded and damaged. It wasn't enough to be offended to his core at this assault on the Surrounding, at the magical reviving properties of the youma. No, it seemed to have more -- more and more -- to throw at them.

Face flushed, vision slightly unfocused from the fever that chilled his body and made his head ache, Leo began hurling rubble once more, trying his best despite the wracking coughs that shook him with each motion.

He wouldn't give up.

"Navi," she offered softly, tone defeated. He was right, they were trapped, and they here terribly out numbered. Perhaps she would be dying after all, even after having escaped death in her waking as a dark morrior warrior. Her shoulders rounded as she watched as members of the negaverse called them to regroup, finding it something of a lost cause. She didn't move though, if they were all going to die she wouldn't leave the man before her to die alone. She continued to hold the fabric against his wound, head lowering miserably.

At the very least she had cause that squire to suffer. It was cold comfort, but it was something.

It was over.

Or was it. Sound pulled her attention back towards the massive carcass, and her eyes widened as she stared in wonder as the great youma revived itself. "Yes! Yes yes, it's alive!" If she pressed a little to firmly against his collarbone it was due to the renewed sense hope that flooded her she watched the beast rise.

That of course was nothing to the rush of energy and revival that slammed into her seconds later, and she threw her head back in a cry of victorious delight. Falling into maniacal laughter as she leaned back over her fallen comrade. "Those stupid bastards." It wad amazing. "We're going to murder them all!"

The energy hit him almost as soon as she had spoken, and he laughed too. Hematite put a hand to her shoulder to help pick himself up off the ground. Slowly. He offered the girl a hand as well, then glanced away as his vision returned with clarity and sharpness and anger.

On and off today, it seemed. The chaotic energy that had energized Navi seemed to rid Hematite of his weaknesses. The pain was forgotten, the blood suddenly felt like little more than water splashed on him. It was overexertion Not nearly as mindless as he had been the first time, he still felt the uncontrollable rage push him off the ground, toward the gathering forces of chaos calling for the experienced. Toward the cluster of Zodiacs.

Toward the still-living Virgo.

Sneering in disgust at the uncorrupted human suddenly draping itself on its claws, the Great Youma gave a huff and lifted its claw, picking up Camelot Squire by the scruff of its collar. Some quick investigation proved it was that same Knight who had given him such a heap of trouble before.

It flung Camelot away like a booger.

Jarosite's eyes widened for a moment, looking at the senshi but not seeing her. He saw someone else however, someone with orangey hair in pigtail loops. Why was... why was Odette here... why... was he pressing down on her chest... why why oh why...

He pulled his foot back up reflexively and started mutter something about "I'msorryI'msorryI'msorry..."

IT would be enough for poor coughing Thisbe to either run away or knock him off balance.

"Like you have any room to talk." She said, voice low, cold. "You stand afar and shoot your metal while your people get slaughtered... You use civilians to replenish your damn surrounding... You think yourself heroic ?"

"You."

"Are."

"A."

Her blades rose again, her wounded arm slower than the other - it was throwing her off, but she wouldn't stop, couldn't stop. The blood leaking through his chainmail was a lovely sight, but it wasn't enough.

"COWARD."

The blades came down, aiming at any part of his fuku she thought was not covered in chain mail... Or would have, if she hadn't seen something red and firey come for her.

Crap.

The eternal.

She kicked him in the midsection, hopefully toward the swirling flames - ha, wouldn't it be amazing if she'd burned her little friend to a crisp ?

Then she teleported.

She teleported in the air, right over Gunn, and let herself fall - katars first.

Virgo was--okay, not happily, but at least contently, slamming punches and kicks into any Negaverse agent who so much as looked at her funny. Her fists of fury were absolutely functional, and she wanted nothing more than these monsters gone.

Until she spotted Hematite rushing her again. "Didn't get enough the first time," she yelled, scraping a palm across her face. His blood had dried on her skin, and now she held up a palm so she could see. "Come back to die, Hematite?"

Nodding and beaming at the praise from the General King the blond pocketed the precious item. He hadn't known it would be alright for someone to ingest, so hadn't thought about that potential use for the item. Now that he knew he'd be sure to keep it safe and only think of giving it to someone who needed it, rather then the idea of what it could or could not do for the Great Youma.

Having heard the order of the General King, for Howlite and Wolframite to gather others and go for the Princess he once more spoke to the General King. "Have I permission to follow you in on this attack on the Princess?" Best to ask permission than to assume.

Magellan did 18 damage!

The world was spinning, and you'd think she'd be used to it by then, but she wasn't. Magellan had fought under all manner of circumstances and head injury, mostly her fault, but she'd never done combat with a fever. Her limbs felt heavy and leaden, her head spinning; it was difficult to breathe, much less run in a straight line toward her enemy. She forced herself to remain on task, however, despite the pounding in her head.

She couldn't back down. Backing down meant dying.

Unbidden, she thought of Taranis; where was he? Where was he? Her feverish mind clung to memories of patrolling together, of the security and safety she felt beside him, and her heart ached even as rage built.

Where was he, she wondered, hurtling projectiles at the youma.

Sailor Leto nodded in agreement when Howlite asked her to follow herself and General-King Zinkenite. Her eyes widened and her hands immediately clenched into fists when Uranophane popped into existence to join the group. She gulped, feeling as if she had a large, hard lump stuck in her throat.

Suddenly she was renewed with a feeling of strength and fury, much like she had felt hours before. She took a deep breath and followed the General-King and his posse into the fray, towards Princess Chronos.

If anything, she was comforted by the fact that Alunite was marching in at her side.

Sailor Nyx's vision was beginning to blur from welling tears brought on by the intense coughing. She knew her aim was going to be off, but she had to fight, or else risk ending up as pixie dust or with her neck snapped. Fear was a surprisingly effective motivational tool.

"Yeah. Yeah. What up? What the <******** up?" Sailor Danae boasted to the sputtering senshis in her best attempt to seem intimidating (she didn't). "You know what that smells like, bitches? Victory."

And then she kicked a tentacle. As she was prone to do.
