She didn't protest when she heard Desdemona speak, she didn't even move. Then, it hit her. Like a sack of bricks the torture curse slammed into her, and she felt her heart beating 10 times as fast. But it was like she didn't know it was her anymore, it was the most painful but most awkward sensation. She didn't understand she was in pain, couldn't wrap her mind around it. She couldn't comprehend where she was or even who she was. Then another feeling crept upon her...she wanted to die. She just wanted to die. Lillian kept twitching madly on the floor, her screams echoed on the walls.
She rolled the length of the room and hit a table, a glass fell from it and it landed on her face. Glass shards hit her face and her wailing grew lowder. The glass was digging into her skin, she was bleeding madly, her blood thick and in lumps, from no water in ages. She rolled over to Desdemona and got blood on Desdemona's skirt bottom. She was banging against Desde's legs, the mess on the floor, just twitching badly enough to move. She was like a muggle cell-phone when it vibrates so madly that it moves. Her bones were brittle and she heard two loud "CRACK, CRACK"s, as her arms snapped and broke.

Desdemona's lips curled in repulsion as the blood spattered on her skirt. Lifting the curse, she muttered some spell under her breath and the crimson liquid evaporated.
She looked down at the truly broken creature before her. It was almost certain she would die soon. Drawing her wand up and thinking of her triumphant in-statement as headmistress of Hogwarts, she called, "Expecto patronum!"
Once again, a silver serpent blossomed from the end of her wand. She instructed it, and watched it leave the room.
Desdemona turned once again to the pathetic creature on the floor. Her eyes were lifeless sockets. Her hair was limp and hung in matted curtains. Her body was bruised and bloody, bones protruding in places they shouldn't. For a split second, a single seed of worry sprouted in the woman's mind. Would it really end like this?

Lillian felt the curse lift, but didn't stop screaming until she felt master's eyes upon her. She didn't speak for a moment, her breath coming in gasps, not able to force words out. Then, she said in a low voice which sounded almost like it was out of a horror film.."Kill me..." she was whispering and rasping, her words were drunkenly slurred together. "Just end it...I'm in too much pain...please just end it..."
She knew master wouldn't though...she needed her signature. She was only alive because of a signature. People could tell or use magic to tell if it was forged. But she wanted to die so badly..just keeping Lillian alive when she was suffering this badly was heartless enough.

Pushing the piece of doubt in her head to the back of her mind, Desdemona said briskly, "I can't kill you. I need you. And you need me." She grinned a toothy grin.
"And right now I need you to make another decree." Desdemona glanced at Lilly's right arm. The bone was poking out from underneath the skin in an odd, almost fake way. There was no was she could do anything with it, let alone write a decree.
"Here," Desdemona said awkwardly. She pointed her wand at the wound and said, "Ferula." With a nasty SNAP! the bone was positioned back in place and in a poorly constructed splint. Healing spells had never been her specialty. Destructive and evil ones, sure, but white magic? Never.
Desdemona thought back to one of her memories at Hogwarts. She had been hastily running through the halls to get to the dungeons. She'd stupidly left her cauldron there whilst brewing illicit potions. Her cauldron was so unique, anyone would have recognized it...goblin-made, with silver braiding around the rim, her mother's. Desdemona tripped down the grand staircase and broke her arm. Luckily, Lilly had been at the bottom after a meal in the Great Hall and set the bone with no trouble at all. Lilly had always been better at that sort of thing.
Anyway. It was time to write. Desdemona set the quill and parchment before Lillian's chilling replacement and dictated what to write.

Lillian howled as the wood from the splint dug into her skin. But at the same time..she was amazed. Desdemona..helping her? No. She only wanted her signature. Then a thought struck Lillian and she was sure Desdemona was thinking it too...when Lillian had once healed Desdemona's arm..she had broken it tripping down a staircase saying something about a cauldron..."It's not like...when I healed you..." she muttered.
As quickly as the thought stirred in her memory, it left. She winced as the quill and parchment were set infront of her, and as she wrote, she began to lose herself with every word...when she was done writing, she felt so dazed, doing something so against who she was and being in so much pain.
"Thank for for the splint master!" She laughed. "I don't even mind the wood in my arm, because I know you did your very best!" She laughed again, and her eyes began to drift apart, she kept chuckling, and she fell on her back with a huge "THUD" and a loud "SNAP" as something in her back popped out of it's socket. Pain kept her awake...though others may have called it endurance or strength.

Desdemona watched as the madwoman applauded her measly healing abilities. It was almost saddening. Almost. Clearing her throat, Desdemona reminded Lillian, "And if you had behaved better earlier, I could have made sure you stayed in good condition, but you had to have it your way."
Ignoring the curious gnawing feeling in the pit of her stomach, she headed toward the large mahogany door. Desdemona was taking no more precautions. She sealed the threshold and made sure that no one within a ten foot distance could hear inside of or touch the door without being flung backwards a good while. It was high time they had some real privacy.

Lillian's eyes rolled in her head, and drool dribbled down one side of her mouth, while blood dribbled down the other. She giggled feebly in response.
After Desdemona had cast the spells, Lillian broke out in wild laughter, spread out like she was making a snow angel on the floor. "Yay! Now it's just me and master!..." But she didn't move and kept her eyes fixed on nothingness, just staring upward, glazed over. She kept laughing, but grew silent not too long after. The silence ate away at her slowly, and pain crawled across her body like spiders. Her memories...hopes..dreams...all started fading in a whirlpool, she gave a last quiet snigger, than fell silent, breathing like a dementor, rasping, rattling breaths. She wasn't asleep, but she wasn't truly awake, not even really living in her own self and mind much anymore. It would take so much effort just to get her to know who she was now, to stop making pain dominate, otherwise, if it got control...she'd be damaged forever.

Professor Kenneth ReynoldsD.A.D.A - Head of Gryffindor - Auror
Kenneth bounded up the stairs to Lillian's office two at a time, he was determined to get to the bottom of what was going on and those decrees be damned. He was in the home stretch to her office we he struck an invisible wall and was thrown backwards. If it hadn't been for his Quidditch training he would have smashed his head against the far wall. We managed to use that quick reflex's honed by his time as Keeper to roll into a ball and absorbed the impact agaisnt the wall. Grunting he got to his feet and slowly approached the area that he had hit.
He reached out with his hand and felt the magical resistance pushing back against him. 'So there is something going up here that someone needs to hide that's for sure,' he thought to himself as he begin to try and figure out a way to get around or remove the barrier. With his wand in had he tried various incantations but nothing he could think of would bring the barrier down. The only other option would to be blowing a hole in the side of the towers wall and entering that way, but that option was a little much even for him.
After many try's he finally decided on one last option to shout at the top of his lungs. The barrier was only extending out about 10 feet, with a little magical amplification his voice should carry on past the barrier and the closed door. He pointed his wand at his throat and said "Sonorus." With his voice now magical amplified he shouted "LILLIAN WHAT IN THE NAME OF MERLIN'S LEFT HAIRY NUT ARE YOU PLAYING AT WITH ALL THESE DECREE'S? I WILL NOT STAY QUIT AS THIS SCHOOL IS TURNED INTO THE PLAYTHING OF SOME DARK WIZARD AND USED TO PERVERT THE MINDS OF YOUNG WITCH'S AND WIZARD'S. LILLIAN I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR ME, OPEN THIS DOOR NOW!"

Lillian winced at the sound of Kenneth's loud voice. She came to herself enoguh to say "Kenneth..." in a soft whimper, and stretch her arm out, reaching...but she knew she was too soft for him to hear her, and she was still immobile to the point where reaching out made her feel sick.
She turned her head on its side and vomited up blood and saliva, for there was no food in her. She resumed shaking, and staring into nothingness with glazed eyes.

But then...the pain started to leave her. She felt slightly better...tell him to leave..a voice growled at her. Tell him to leave...so she obeyed. She walked to the door and wasn't thrown back, since she was on the inside. She opened it a sliver, so Kenneth couldn't get through. The charms would still hold, keeping him from getting in, so she didn't need to worry. "I'm fine. These decrees are for the good of Hogwarts." She said slowly, a glazed look in her eyes. "Please leave."

Professor Kenneth ReynoldsD.A.D.A - Head of Gryffindor - Auror
Kenneth was getting ready for another round of shouting when suddenly the Headmistress's Office door opened just a fraction, reveling a very small potion of Professor Lillian's, stopping him in his tracks. He just stared at her bewilderingly as if almost robot like reply escaped her mouth. He wouldn't have believed it was actaully Lillian speaking if not for the potion of her face sticking out from behind the door. '"I'm fine...These decrees are for the good of Hogwarts...' surely she didn't really believe that he thought to himself as he tried to inch closer to the barrier without touching, and thus being thrown back again. "LILLIAN!" he shouted then cursed at himself for forgetting that he had amplified his voice. He pointed his wand at his throat and returned the level of his voice back to normal. "Sorry about that, but seriously Lillian I don't think your alright, and neither do the other professors nor the students. Theses decrees are going to ruin the school not make it better, you have to see that."

She winced again at his loud voice, and part of her seemed to return to itself. She gave him a significant look, and opened the door a little wider, just a tad, so he could see almost the whole broken side of her face. Blood was dribbling down her mouth, and dripping onto the floor beneath her. She began to mouth the words HELP...ME... Before she returned to herself and said to him: "Leave. I'm fine. Ignore me, this is for the good of the school."
And she slammed the door in his face, and returned to her spot on the floor, at Desde's feet. "All...done...master" she sighed, and choked a bit on the words. She shook as she tried to move, and yelped in pain as she tried to get comfortable. Once she settled down, she tried to sleep, pain still eating away at her, it was all she could feel, she began giggling again. She laughed and smiled like a small schoolgirl, before finnally chuckling and giggling and going so crazy that she started to lose herself once more.

Professor Kenneth ReynoldsD.A.D.A - Head of Gryffindor - Auror
If he hadn't been mistaken his amplified voice seemed to get though to Lillian more than his regular voice, for just a fraction of a second the true Lillian was actually standing, still half hidden by the door to her office. He looked at her face and an expression of shock formed across his face at the site. It was seriously bloody and bruised as if she had been beaten. He stepped even closer to the barrier and took notice that her eyes had a glanced over look to them, the typical sign of someone under the Imperius Curse. The next action that Lillian took he would have missed if he had blinked. He could have sworn that she had just mouthed out the words 'help me' before answering with that robot like reply once more and slamming the door closed.
Kenneth started to pace up and down the hall outside Lillian's office now, he had just seen proof that Lillian was not okay, that she was most certainly under the effects of the Imperius Curse, but seemed at times, or at least that faction of a second that she was trying to fight its effects. He would need to report this to the other Professor's and come up with a plan to storm the office once and for all. He took one final look at the door and said "I'll be back to free you Lillian I promise you that, Desdemona will not take this school," before turning on his heel and sprinting back down the stairs for the Headmistress's Tower.

She hated the fact that she still breathed and could feel the air around her. She was inhuman, so unloved and untouched, not even worthy of life. She was disgusting, and she could understand how Callysto felt when she had called herself a monster. Lillian lay there on the ground, immobile for hours, even when she was awake, she dwelled on her pain. It was indescribable, just something that had literally become a part of her. She was so damaged she never felt that echoing, sane, chamber in her head anymore. It was just a pathetic whimper that couldn't overpower her other emotions to be heard, but she did know that if it vanished, all would be lost, all sanity gone permanently. Desdemona loved to watch the time when Lillian struggled with the tiny voices, but she wasn't as amused as she used to be. Lillian prayed Desde would end it, but Desdemona's cackling and hatred was just false hope, a promise to happiness, to a death, that didn't come.
Her mind was clear and free to wander into nothingness now, so she barely noticed when it felt so clear this time. Really, she didn't notice at all. She stared into space as she signed the 9th decree and sent it out with an owl. "K-kill me..." voices echoed in her head and leaped from her mouth..."k-k-kill me...D-dese...-pl-please..." she caught herself disobeying her master..master hated it when she talked, and she laughed. "haha..ha..ha...." she stumbled over her words. "heehee...hee" she was giving small chirping laughter now, barely audible, but they were loud and rang in her own mind.

Desdemona rolled her eyes at the boy-auror's pathetic vows. With the last few decrees, she felt it was time to roam the castle and check on her subjects. Yes, it would be good to assert her power.
Ignoring Lilly's pleas for deliverance, she left the office.
