Misha grinned as Gin put the slug into the chamber, Misha then let go of the shotgun fully chambering the roun, "Captain... get down!" She would fire the explosive slug down the hall at the regenerator. She shell impacting just to the right of a peice of still hot metal and then explode after a second. Misha turned away slightly from the blast hoping other did the same, the explosion wouldn't be big enough to harm them but sensitive ears and bodies would definately numb or shocked for a few seconds. Misha would simply holster her shotgun and turn to the backa gains eeing others coming, "Contacts on the rear!" She would begin unloading the rivet gun behind them aiming for limbs first, she would sit on the trigger with 40% power only letting off every few seconds to give the cooling a chance to let it simmer down so it doesn't over heat...

"Crap!" Aurora swears, hitting the deck when Misha fires. "A little more warning next time, Clastov!" she complains. "Nice shot," she says, as she gets up, to show there were no hard feelings. She would wait and see how many critters were left ahead of them before opening fire, again.

Miya winced and groaned, letting loose her ninth arrow and clapping her hands to her ears, as Misha fired her shot, the loud sound hurting her sensitive hearing. "Warning next time?!" she snapped out irritably, only just barely hearing her own words so soon after the explosion. However, realizing that staying defenseless was not a good idea, she grabbed another arrow from her quiver, her tenth, and held it at the ready, waiting for anything that might get past the others' attacks and come a bit too close.

Misha's shell would explode in the Regenerator's torso, blasting a gaping hole. For a moment, it seemed like it hadn't worked as the tendrils worked their way to healing the wound...and then the regeneration seemed to go out of control, the torso bloating violently before exploding in a shower of gore.
Mio was glad he was in his full suit, but even with the dampeners, the noise of the explosion makes him wince. The Shriekers had arrived via the vents. Using a voice command, he activates a targeting reticule on his HUD that was tied to his suit, moving to highlight whatever he pointed his gun at. That was just as well, because the way he was shaking, he needed it to compensate. His first shot goes slightly astray, showing that his energy pistol was anything but ordinary as it cause more damage to the bulkhead than a normal one would, but his next would remove one of the slashing limbs of the Shrieker that had came out on his side of the corridor.
The Shriekers behind the Regenerator take no notice of the death of the thing and charge forward, limbs held high to slash at those in front. Misha's rivets would take care of the first one coming out of the vent on her side, but two more would come out behind. The one Mio had shot seems to go berserk and charges at him, and he narrowly escapes getting sliced only by falling back to the floor. It would lose its remaining slashing limb to a panicked shot from the Cathan, and would fall forward onto him unmoving.

Misha tried to load into the one that just barely got passed her but she had to concentrate on the other one, hearing Mio hit the floor she looks back and moves to kick the thing off of him. She whips around bringing the power down again knowing that it will be one limb one shot instead of a possible two but she doesn't care she gets more shots in a faster rate. She begins to mow them down as they come growling this deep tone that could be ehard over the coms, "Captain we're being flanked dunno how much longer we can retreat back here." she let off the trigger when she couldn't see anymore contacts her gaze shifting from left to right watching close looking over her shoulder, "Mio you alive voer there? If you're in shock I'll whack ya one if it'll help."

((Sorry all. Lot of...not so good-ness happening...))
Aleron watched the foes fall, counting them off in his head for a later purpose. "Now you've made the last mistake!" he called, aiming at a group of them and letting off a rupturing shot that would cause any metal around him to dent in as if hit with quite a large object. The sonic shot had been set to 5-shots in one charge, letting out quite-the-fierce of an obliterating wave that would resonate even more due to the hall being of metal and so condensed.
((As for the zombie/flesh thing, Misha I didn't meant your rivet gun, I meant fire in general. And Ixor, lol no, not zombies. People. The US used flame-throwers on the Japs to weed them out of hiding in all the tall grass because of all their Kamikaze's and tree-snipers. It took hell of a long time for the flesh to actully melt away and severely damage the muscle, and the only reason they stopped is because they could feel it. Medicly, until the muscle is damaged beyond function, if one can't feel the flames, the body could keep going until said reaction occurs.))

The leading two Shriekers would take the brunt of Aleron's attack, getting shredded, and between the fire from the others up front, the rest would go down. The ones in the rear would be dealt with by Misha's rivet gun and couple shots from Mio's pistol.
Mio would let his breath out slowly and shakily. "I-I'm fine..." he replies to Misha, rolling over and getting to his feet. "Everybody else alright?" he asks, shaking inside his suit from the adrenaline rush. That had been entirely to close for him, and he starts checking his suit to make sure it hadn't been scored or torn by the Shrieker's scythe-arm.

The immediate threat now eliminated, Aurora speaks almost in unison with Mio. "Sound off."

"Clastov and Mio alive, but the good cathan's a bit shaken. I'm just peachy." Misha's voice was strong you can tell her adrenaline was pumping good but her body didn't shake, it would take alot more fighting to get her that excited. She kept the rivet gun aimed at the rear her eyes so vigilant still...

Seeing the threat eliminated, for the time being at least, Miya released the tension on her bowstring and returned the arrow to her quiver. Or, at least, she tried to. Her previously steady hand was now shaking like a leaf, making her take three attempts before successfully replacing the arrow. Practice had made it so she could block out most unnecessary thoughts, such as doubt and fear, so that she could fire accurately...however, once the adrenaline rush started to die down, she realized just how scary the whole situation had been.
"Y-Yeah...I'm n-not hurt..." she answered a tad shakily, looking around at everyone else. Though her nerves were a bit too frayed to tell for sure, she could sense that no one had been severely injured or anything like that.

Gin panted slightly as the last of them died. She'd never stayed and fought with a group that big comming towards her.
"F.. fine.. " she stuttered out. God that had been freaking scary. She looked towards the survivor
"Hey you ok?" she asked putting her gun away and gently taking Sonjia's arm ( Sp for the name?)

"Aleron, reporting. I'm good too. Looks like we did hell of a lot better then last time, aside from some shaken nerves." he replied, lowering the charge on his wrist. No need for that sort of shot again unless something bigger came along to eat him. Again. "Someone tell me the TZ is close...I'm getting a little claustrophobic with all the ugly." he said flatly, reaching down to pet Mace, who had wined at his comment.

Aurora signals for everyone to start moving again. "Miss Grisholt, how far to the Cryo Room?" she asks, as they go forward.

"Erm..." Sonja would reply, face still pale from the encounter, "Not too far, I think..." She was feeling a little dazed, and the dim lighting wasn't helping her direction sense any. Still, it should be just up ahead off to the side.
Mio was satisfied that his suit hadn't taken any damage, though he cautiously prods one of the severed bladed limbs with his foot. The transformations the unknown pathogen could cause was astounding, but Mio can't help but feel they're all in over their heads. To distract himself a little as tehy walk, he brings up the manifest of some of the deliveries tot he station to look through again. I just hope whatever the pathogen is doesn't affect plant matter as well... he thinks, noting the deliveries for live plants that must have gone to Hydroponics and Life Support.

Aleron looked back at Mio as they walked, wondering what he was looking over. "Mio? I recognize those pictures. Are those shipments here?" he asked, noticing the plant-life on the screen. Why would the ship need plants..?
