Maria made a face at Dimitri, but couldn't help but laugh herself. She only silently hoped that they wouldn't find any spiders, even though she knew they lived out in the woods. Trying to keep her skin from crawling with thoughts of spiders, Maria continued eating her meal and looked about the table, judging about how much she should take home, knowing there was no way that Kedrick could eat this all by himself.
"Now I have more to look forward to," Arielle said with a bright smile, "Hopefully my recovery won't take too long." She looked at Maria who seemed distracted by something. She finished the last of her Gazpacho with a satisfied sigh. "Maria, what are you thinking about?"
"Hm? Oh, just what to do about all this leftover food. If I left everything here with Kedrick, I'd basically be fattening him up for an early Thanksgiving," Maria said with a small grin.
(Oooo~ Already have a plan for that little disappearance of the walky talky = w =.)

He said thoughtfully, reaching across the table for one of the alfajores. "We'd of course leave most of the Gazpacho here for Arielle, and some of the other stuff, I'll take some home with me....Maria, I'm sure your dad would like some..." He mused, trying to think of others in the general area that it could be given to. He snapped his fingers, looking up. "And if their anything left over that's easily transportable, like leftovers of theses." He said, gesturing to the Alfajore in his hand. "Your dad could take them down to the station for the guys at work." He said with a smile.Kedrick nodded his head. "Brilliant, just remember to save some of them for me." He said with a smile, taking one off of the plate and biting into it. He held his hand under it to catch the powdered sugar, it didn't seem content to stay were it was and kept falling off in a fine dust. "You missed something." Dimitri said with a snicker, reaching over and brushing some of the sugar off of Kedrick's nose. He laughed softly, a hand raised to cover his mouth. Kedrick smiled back slightly, looking over at his friend. "I guess that was payback for the Locro right?" He asked with a smirk, bumping his shoulder. Dimitri smirked back, shifting slightly with the bump. "Yeah, I guess, but unlike you, I was trying to help." He said.

"He has a point, Maria," Arielle said with a nod, "Your father's men loves your family's cooking in the first place, so I'm sure they'd be thankful for some of the leftovers. Plus, we can't leave these two to the rest of the food."
Maria nodded, taking in all of Dimitri's suggestions, glad to know he had thought of the simple plan first. She giggled at Dimitri's action before picking up a churro. "Alright, that's sounds good then. You boys can take how much you're going to bring home with you first, and then I'll take home everything else. Which means... Dish washing is coming soon."
"You want me to help at all, Maria?" Arielle asked, "It's not too laborious of a task for me to do, and you sure can use some help."
"Don't worry Arielle, I got it," Maria said with a small smile, "You just need to keep on resting. I'm sure the boys won't mind helping me clean up."

Kedrick found that his hair was getting pretty shaggy, He wondered if Arielle was any good at cutting hair. "I think We can handle that." He said with a smile, looking over at Dimitri for confirmation. Dimitri nodded his head. "Right, dishes, and then..." He trailed off for a moment, then looked up, a slightly blush touching his cheeks. "Maybe I could show you around the estate?" He asked, scolding himself for blushing again. It was like he had forgotten how to act around girls, he kept blushing, and saying things without thinking about them.
((I know it's short but I'm so sick right now....My head is full of oatmeal...>.< ))

"I'd love that actually," Maria said with a warm smile, "And then this little senorita has to go back home since she has to go back to school." She finished her sentence as she started picking up her empty dishes and Arielle's before walking into the kitchen. She placed the dishes in the sink and started the water, making sure it was warm enough before putting the stopper in and let the water run. She then poured the dish detergent over the dishes and started washing the dishes that were already there.
Arielle got up, feeling happily full and had to resist about helping them up. She went over to Kedrick's seat and kissed his forehead gently. "Good luck with your battle of the dishes. I'll be in my room being a good little girl and following the doctor's orders." She giggled lightly and messed with Kedrick's hair, "And it's about time we take care of this hair too. Any new style in mind?" She lightly teased, having no intention of changing his overall look.

He said with a smiled, glancing upward towards his hair. "Yeah, I was thinking of asking you about that." He mused. "I'm not really looking for a new style, but it dose need a trim." Kedrick laughed, reaching up and smoothing it slightly, trying to tame the yellow brown mass. Dimitri stood up, walking over next to Maria and scooping up a dish and dipping it in the soapy water, scrubbing at it with a stiff brush. He glanced over at her, the warmth from the water seeping into his hands. "So...You'll be leaving after our tour hm?" He asked, trying not to sound to disappointed. "Well, I'll be looking forward to our meeting tomorrow, don't forget okay?" He asked with a teasing grin, bumping her shoulder lightly.
((EDIT: Fixed a minor coding error >.< No big deal though. And I do feel a little bit better today, mainly because we decorated for Christmas today ^^))

Maria giggled and felt herself blush lightly at how close Dimitri was to her. If she wanted to, she could gently place down the dish and hold onto his hand under the soapy water, but she knew that was such a forward move on her part. She looked at him with her own playful smile, her eyes brightening up. "There's no way I'm going to forget, especially if you consider the fact that I made up this wonderful scheme." She giggled again and looked back down, continuing cleaning the dish she was on. "So... You have any plans of what the two of us can do after we take care of our "meeting"? Like, anywhere you want to go or something..."
"Don't worry, I'll do just that, Kedrick," Arielle replied before giving his hair another ruffle. "And I can definitely trim it. Hopefully that's something I can do in my condition, right? It's nothing to strenuous in your eyes Sir Kedrick?"

He said slowly, contemplating her question for a moment. "We'll be starting at the park...so we could walk the few blocks into town and then," Dimitri said with a small smirk. "I figured I'd buy you an ice cream." He said, leaning over a little bit closer as though he were sharing a secret..Kedrick glanced up at Maria and Dimitri, momentarily distracted. He fumbled for a second, trying to pick up the thread of their own conversation. He glanced at Arielle, smiling. " No, You can't cut hair, I forbid it." He said with a smile, know full well it was something Arielle could definitely do. "C'mmon." He said, standing up, and touching her arm lightly. "I'll show you were I keep the hair cutting stuff...'' He said, not able to find a better word for it.
The two of them walked into the living room, and Kedrick looked back into the kitchen with a small smile. "You know...I think those two are getting somewhere." He said lightly, looking over at her.

Arielle almost took Kedrick seriously when he said she couldn't cut his hair, especially since she knew that cutting hair wasn't such a hard task for her to do. But his smile proved that he was only kidding and Arielle couldn't help but start giggling. She nodded, following behind Kedrick, giving her best friend and Dimitri one last glance, mentally giving her best friend a thumbs up.
When they entered the living room, feeling herself nod at his sentence. "Maybe our dinner plan may not be needed after all. Which now makes me wonder what their little meeting is really all about."
"Ice cream sounds like such a wonderful idea," Maria said absentmindedly, trying to remember the last time she actually enjoyed ice cream on a date. She also didn't know she was still washing the same dish for the past couple of minutes. After a bit, she realized that Dimitri was quiet for a bit. She turned her head slowly to look and noticed that he was moving closer to her. She felt her cheeks flush but had no idea what she should, could, or would say. All she could do was just look back at him and wish she wasn't blushing as badly at that moment.

He put aside the last dish, drying his hands on a towel. He glanced side long at her, then smirked, poking her cheek lightly. "You're cute." He said with a smile, turning and walking away from the sink, briskly picking up a different thread of conversation. "Come one, I'll show the the house." He said, keeping his back to her for a moment so she wouldn't see how insanely bright he was blushing.Kedrick laughed softly at Arielle. "Come on now! You didn't think i was serious did you?" He asked with a smile, leading her down the hall way and into one of the bathrooms on that floor. He opened a cabinet behind the mirror, fumbling around for a moment before coming out with a black plastic box of hair cutting supplies. "Here we go...We can take care of this later when Maria and DImitri have left...Are you sure you don't want to rest some?" He asked anxiously, his worry resurfacing.

For a brief second, Maria thought that Dimitri was going to kiss her, even though she didn't know why such a though came across her head. Her cheeks grew even hotter when Dimitri poked them and even worse when he called her cute. His smile made her knees weak and she had to return back to her focus of her final dish before she ended up fainting like some kind of fan girl. Finishing the last dish, she took the stopper out and let the water drain. Drying her hands, she placed the last dish in the rack before following after Dimitri. "I'm coming, I'm coming."
"Oh don't start making fun of me," Arielle said with a light giggle, still following behind him. When they made their stop to the one bathroom, Arielle waited patiently for Kedrick to take out the supplies. She walked over to the plastic box and looked into it, figuring out what to use on Kedrick's hair. She looked up at him when she heard the worry in his voice and wondered if it was a good idea at the time being. What if she began to feel lightheaded again and hurt herself. No, she couldn't risk that now. "Maybe I'll rest some more... Don't want to end up chopping your hair off if I fall asleep or anything. We can't mess up this wonderful mane on your head," she finished with a light giggle, running her fingers through his hair slowly.

Thinking about that now, Dimitri decided it would probably be best if he spent more time in the sun. He was pale as a ghost but every time he tried to tan even a little bit he ended up with a horrible burn. He shook his head out of thee clouds, smiling again at Maria. "Okay then." He said lightly, walking out of the kitchen. "On your left here is the living room, we passed that on our way in..." He said, using his be tour-guide voice. He lead Maria down a hallway, pointing out the different sitting rooms, and passing the bathroom, waving to Arielle and Kedrick on their way by. Dimitri remembered every inch of the estate, just as he had thought he would, it did help that Kedrick hadn't moved anything though. Soon they had made their way up a flight of stairs, on to the floor where all the bedrooms where. "This is Kedrick's room." He said, pushing open the door and peering in slightly. "The slob..." he said under his breath, looking at the rather messy state of his room, but then he reflected on what his own apartment looked like and he took it back. "Arielle's room is here at the end of the hall, and this one was...well, mine I guess." He said, looking into on of the other rooms. It was also a boy's bedroom but looked like it hadn't been used in some time. Dimitri cleared his throat slightly, and looked up. "In the next floor is the library, a few spare bedroom, bathrooms, storage rooms, sitting rooms, and a balcony or two, above that is just the attic." He said, figuring that that summarized the whole house very nicely. Kedrick smiled, laughing slightly as she ruffled his hair. He reached up, placing his hand on top of hers and smiling. "Okay, You can make yourself comfortable in the living room, the couch is actually very nice. But don't fall asleep okay? Maria's going to want to say good bye to you." He said lightly, squeezing her hand gently before sliding them off his head and walking to the living room with her, their fingers still interlocked.

Maria stayed close to him, taking in all of her surroundings. She remembered brief images of seeing them when she came to Kedrick's estate for the Harvest Dance, but she was really grateful for the tour. She noticed Arielle and Kedrick as they walked passed them and giggled lightly. She couldn't help but be impressed with just how well Dimitri knew his way around the estate. Then again, there was a time when he used to live there, so why shouldn't she have been surprised. Just being around Kedrick's home made Maria want to spend more time there. Not only because of her friend, but because of the wonderful atmosphere it left behind. She giggled again at the state of Kedrick's and looked curiously at the one that used to be Dimitri's. She tried to picture a younger Dimitri in that room, but had a harder time considering the fact she didn't know him then. When he spoke again, Maria was quickly taken out of her dazed moment and looked at him as he concluded what else was there. When he finished, she smiled and clapped lightly. "That was such a wonderful tour, Dimitri. Thank you so much for that. I really appreciated it."
"I know that the couch is nice silly Kedrick," Arielle said with a giggle. She noticed Maria and Dimitri walked past them on their tour and couldn't help but smile, glad that whatever problem they had earlier was resolved. She nodded to what Kedrick said and followed him into the living room, feeling absolute joy knowing the fact that she would be with Kedrick.

The two of the started down the stairs, and Dimitri paused on one of the top steps, a playful smirk tugging at his lips. He slung one leg over the banister, sitting rather comfortably on it and glancing at Maria to see what she made of this. It was something Dimitri knew his own mother would have chewed him out for, she would have never allowed him to slide down a banister. Dimitri looked at Maria, his grin ever widening and began to slide down. He let out a soft whoop as he glided easily down the strip of polished wood, flying off the other, staggering, overcompensating, and falling flat on his face. Dimitri rolled over on to his back, a cackle of delight leaving his lips. Kedrick poked his head into the living room in time to see Dimitri fly off of the banister. He scowled playfully, guiding Arielle over to the couch and scooping up a throw pillow. He walked over to his fallen friend, who still lay on the ground in stitches. Kedrick looked at him dryly for a second before whapping him upside the head with the pillow. This only succeeded in making Dimitri laugh harder, tears of laughter stinging his eyes as he curled over on his side, his ribs heaving. Kedrick crouched down, now smiling. "Hey, okay, don't hurt yourself." He said, grabbing Dimitri's shoulder and rolling him over onto his back again, glancing down at him. Dimitri gasped for air, looking up at Kedrick, his face alight. "I-" He gasped breathlessly. "I- can't tell you h-how fun that was!" He said delightedly, propping himself up on his elbows and dashing his sleeve across his eyes, still trying to catch his breath. Kedrick grinned lightly, pulling him up to his feet. "You're such a child!" He said with mock-scorn, letting go of his hand. "Either that or you were showing off." Kedrick added after a moment of though, tipping his chin in Maria's direction. "Between you and me..." Dimitri said conspiratorially, lean over to Kedrick so Maria couldn't hear. "It may have been a little of both." He said with a smirk and Kedrick shoved his head lightly. Kedrick stepped back over to Arielle, pausing in front of her. "Comfy?" He asked with a small smile."
