Ordered a bunch of stuff for Christmas, including ingredients for lotion bars. That wraps up my handmade Christmas gifts. 4laugh Also gonna make some for me, scented with sandalwood and myrrh (my two favorite scents whee ).

My silk fiber arrived today!  Silk noil, which is considered waste because it's the short, fragile, and broken bits of the cocoon. Still spinnable though. ^_^  Silk cocoons, which aren't a traditional spinning preparation, but fun as hell anyways. *grin*

Ooh cool! Silk is such a gorgeous medium. Will you dye it eventually? Or leave it in it's natural state?

Don't you just love it when pets decide to join in the fun? smile Mine can't really because they're too small and live in tanks but my frog loves making his presence known.

Yay my lotion bar ingredients arrived! *happy dance* And I made like, a ton of the stuff already! Woo! I think my next beauty project is going to be lip balm, that looks super fun to make, and easier than I originally thought. whee
Also, I contacted the maker of my spindle, and her husband offered to help, but didn't mail the packages until recently. So I should get it soon. Yay!

I'm currently waiting for the lunar eclipse to start - this'll be the last complete lunar eclipse for the next seven years apparently.
Oh wait...it starts tomorrow...herpderp... xp
