Delilah waited for the bard to finish his song (which was about a contest between two rival princes, a Thracian and a Spartan.) before she announced that the meat was cooked. She put the plates out and let the people choose the meat they wanted.

Sage took a plate of meat and gave Delilah a smile. The Gods had accepted her friend's sacrifice which was a good thing. Hopefully this meant they would be able to get back to their own time soon.

Arwa and Krispen were at the boulder, and made a sharp turn around it to gain speed. Successfully curving around the boulder, both sheep and rider were running well, right up until a small non-poisonous snake about the size of a hatchling, slithered past the sheep's view. Krispen stopped, reared in a horse like fashion and galloped away, scared from the little snake, away from the race end. Arwa hung on, afraid that he would fall off.

Markus saw them run away and had a tough time following them.

Hermes went to the table after he had stopped singing and took a plate with the meat on. After watching them eat it, he secretly absorbed the matter of the meat when he was sure no one was looking. He did this with the appearance of normality, putting the meat in his mouth, chewing, but absorbing it's matter into his power before swallowing.
Arwa managed to stop Krispen from running, and when he did, they were further from the finish than they should've been. Arwa saw from the edge of a cliff that there were burning ships. He called Markus over to look at the damage. "Whoa." he said, calming Krispen, who was nervous at being so close to the edge.

Sage calmly glanced over her shoulder half expecting her 'nephew' to burst out of the trees anytime soon. Which meant that Flicker and Markus would follow. She then glanced over at Stratios as he ate. He seemed harmless but she hadn't made up her mind on whether or not she would talk to him or in front of him yet.

Markus stared down at the damage. One sole survivor, looked up and saw them there. A giant sheep and a man wearing odd clothing. He thought they were gods of course. He fell to his knees and started to praise them, how they had let him live and whatnot.

"Uncle Markus, what's that man doing?" Arwa said, pointing at the man.
Delilah was slightly worried, neither Flicker, Markus or Arwa had returned. The meat was nearly all gone and she was in the right frame of mind to go looking for them. She said to Sage, "Nice weather, isn't it?" motioning with her eyes to where the racers had gone off to. Shouldn't they be back by now?
Hermes sneezed. He thought little of their attempt of subtlety. He pretended to ignore them, sitting down to the appearance of a fake nap.

Markus was quiet. He shrunk the sheep down to normal size and said to Arwa, "Go back to Flicker Arwa, I'll be back in a little bit"

Arwa rode Krispen towards Flicker. "Aunty Flicker! There's a man down there." he pointed back towards where he had come from.

Markus jumped down the ledge and landed near the man. "Where did you come from?" he asked the man, who was on his knees. He answered in a language Markus did not know. His armor also looked different compared to the Greek soldiers he had seen earlier.

Sage nodded her head before she gave her friend a reassuring look telling her with her eyes that she would go look for their wayward friends. She patted Delilah's shoulder before she stood up and sauntered off in the direction their friends had gone.

Arwa saw Aunt Sage approaching from the distance, so dismounting Krispen, Arwa ran towards her, shouting about the strange man over there.

Sage caught her 'nephew' up in her arms when he got close enough to her. " What's going on now Arwa? You need to be a bit more clear so you can tell me what's going on."

Markus began to get annoyed. He pulled the man up and grew, put the man on the top of the ledge, went back up with him, and started to go back to Flicker, with the man trailing behind him.
