"Oops, I wasn't expecting that. I'll be back in a second." Kirama said as snapped his finger and the cubs disappeared. Kirama stretched for a moment and then flash stepped off into the forest. He reappeared behind his clone, formed a handsign as his muscles tensed, and caught Apollo's punch with one hand as it came through. The force was enough to blow the cloak back and reveal that he only had one arm, but he didn't seem to care. "Careful now boy. You might really hurt yourself doing that." Kirama said as he fastened an iron-like grip around the boy's hand. To Apollo it would feel like his hand was now encased in stone.

Chessa stood sharply "Hey! Wait where are you going!?" but Kirama was already gone and she clenched her fists at her sides. Where did he go! He better not hurt Apollo! she thought vicously and leapt to several other branches but not anywhere close to the two men.

Apollo stared at the man with mad rage, he had grabbed his fist, didn't matter. "Let me go! You'll pay for what you did!" So what if this guy had a monstrous grip, fear wasn't exactly plaguing his mind at the moment. Apollo quickly went to his ninja pack, about to grab a few exploding tags before everything seemed to slow down for a moment. His vision picked up another being in the distance and Apollo quickly realized it was Chessa. "But..how?" She wasn't dead, nor was she hurt. Apollo's rage went away slowly as he stared to the man. "Was this some type of game to you? Did you think it was fun to play with my emotions like they were your toys?" Apollo's mouth might get him hurt but he didn't care, right now he was far more irritated than angry. When Chessa did arrive Apollo didn't even look at her, he awaited the man to let go of his hand before he would respond to what was happening.

Kirama yanked Apollo to the ground and placed a heavy boot fairly close to being right on Apollo's throat. "A game? No, I'm not playing a game. You... you are treating this like a game. There is no place on the battlefield for blind emotions. If you were paying closer attention you might have noticed that I was attempting to trick you." Kirama said as he applied more pressure both on the hand and the boy's chest. "What's the matter with you? You think that there aren't going to be others that do something like this? Trying to trick you into doing the exact same thing? What's going to happen when they actually have her, when they're actually trying to kill you?" He asked, disdain at the way Apollo was acting dripping from his voice.

Chess pushed off her branch and made her way closer until she was a few feet from the two men, staring at them. She bit the inside of her lip and stayed where she was But if Kirama does try to kill him... her hand went to the bag around her shoulders, the dolls inside active and just needing chakra infused in them Apollo...! Chess clenched her free fists.

Apollo grunted a bit as he was pushed to the ground, what the ******** was wrong with this guy? Who did he think he was pushing him around like that? Apollo's glare didn't end, he simply shifted it upward as the man spoke. "I didn't treat this like a game, I treated it like a life or death situation. And when I thought someone close to me had fallen I merely snapped, a normal human emotion." Apollo retorted as the man continued to speak to him. He was treating him like he should, like a master to a pupil had every right and Apollo knew he was wrong for how he reacted but....Kirama didn't understand how he felt. "I know how the world of ninja's can be and I know what lies in store. I have no right to make mistakes like this on the battlefield and I won't..." This was a sort of apology but at the same time it was a statement to Kirama. Apollo grabbed the mans foot before forcing it off his chest, it might take a bit of work but he had moved it. He slowly stood before staring at Kirama. He didn't have much else to say, his Byakugan deactivated as he thought their training had ended.

"Apollo..." Chess didn't get any closer simply because she figured that Kirama wasn't through. She'd spent enough time with him to have figured out that he never just let things go "Are you ok?" she asked, worried that he might have been hurt. There were no physical signs but Chessa had learned long ago that the worst wounds were often the ones you didn't see. Her eyes tracked both men, trying to decide whether she should move closer or not.

Kirama let the boy stand but held up a hand to stop Chessa from talking. "Really now? I don't believe you. I'll tell you right now, there is no difference between training and a real fight! If you don't learn to treat your training like it's life or death then you'll wind up as a puddle of blood and guts. If you don't take your training seriously you aren't worthy of having the name Hyuuga, those eyes of yours, or her." He spat as he pointed a finger in Chessa's direction. "I know what you're thinking. You're thinking I can't possibly understand what you feel towards her. Get over yourself damnit. I have a wife and child, I know exactly what you are feeling. " He said as glanced in Chessa's direction.
Kiram calmly reached behind his back all of a sudden, pulled out a scroll and tossed it to Apollo. "Those are the clan scrolls. Master every technique. You will do this alone. You will not consort with other Hyuuga. You will not receive any training from me. You will not drag this clan down. Is that understood?" He asked as he pulled on a nearby wire and his decoy dummy returned to him. He carefully removed Chessa's doll and held it out for her to take. "Sorry again for borrowing your doll without asking."

Chessa gripped her bag and leapt closer, stopping near Apollo and warily took the doll back "Thanks...Its ok, I guess. You didn't damage it any." she put it carefully in her bag. She wasn't sure what to say about what had just happened between the two men but she felt akward and out of place. I hope...Apollo... she looked at him, knowing how painful it could be to be told to stay away from others, and reached out to take his hand.

Apollo didn't say a word back and simply nodded. His pride as a member of the Hyuuga clan wouldn't allow him to be abrasive in this moment. "I understand..." Apollo muttered as his gaze continued to meet Kirama's. So he couldn't get help and he couldn't ask for it. He had to master all his abilities alone. Apollo grabbed the scroll before letting a low sigh come out his mouth. He had done everything alone so far, this training would be no different. He felt Chessa come close to him and as she reached out her hand he simply grabbed a hold of it. "I'll learn everything their is about our clan, become strong and protect everything that is dear to me." He said to Kirama, the arrogance he once showed had gone and was replaced with a new assurance.

Chess squeezed his hand and then wrapped one hand around the arm that held her hand, leaning her head on his upper arm. She really didn't understand what was going on now but Whatever. The fightings over and I'm glad for that! she squeezed Apollo's hand again.

Kirama sighed as well, flashed a halfhearted smile in Chessa's direction, and then disappeared in a gust of wind.

Apollo let a sigh escape from his lips as he put his head against Chessa's. "That really was a rush huh?" He said softly to her as a smile came over him, what just happened was actually good for Apollo. He would learn from his mistakes and grow stronger as time goes on. The scroll had already been placed in Apollo's back pocket. He let out a sigh before realizing something. 'HEY! Now that I think about it you must have known what Kirama was planning! And you allowed him to play with me like that!?" Apollo wasn't angry, he was just giving a pouting face. It was to liven the mood a little.

"Well I didn't really have a choice! He's kinda bigger and stronger than me, if you didn't notice!" Chess fumed "And he promised not to hurt you so I just went with it!" she let go of his hand, crossing her arms, and stood before him. She looked directly up at him, arms crossed under her chest, and stood on her tip toes to kiss him "Besides. I had faith that you would come save me."

"Well your strong too! You could have overpowered him!" Apollo said with a smirk. As he listened he nodded. "I see, well it's good I have an angel out to protect me." As she kissed him Apollo kissed her back. "So am I your knight or something?" He asked with a smile as he wrapped his arms around her backside.
