Trinity's face was looking straight ahead. Her eyes start to open, she let's out, "Mom?"

Her mom was rushing over to her relieved to see her daughter. She looks a lot like Trinity except for her hair and eyes. With a flashlight in her hand she was so glad to see her daughter was safe, "Trinity! Oh my goodness where have you been?!? Your father and I have been so worried about you. Thank you for finding her!" She didn't ask about the girl in her robotic armor, she was so focused on her daughter than anything else really.

Trinity looks around and realizes she didn't have her bike with her, she coughs, "Where's my bike? I'll need to ride it to school tomorrow..."

Gidget shakes her head, "Don't worry about your bike, we can always find that later. Right now you need to rest. Can you walk?"

Gidget looks to Trinity's mother. She feels a sting in her heart. Her mother used to get just as worked up when Gidget would be brought home after being caught tinkering with a machine she had no business being in. She thinks about how she would give anything to have her back.

Lily looked at Annie's helping hand, she was in no condition to deny any sort of help at the moment, she took her hand, gladly accepting her help. Lily smiled, listening as Gidget remarks about her name. "Sorry. I'm hard at hearing, or so I'm told." she said with a forced laugh, it was the truth, because of her rebellion towards her mother, she always accused the girl of being 'hard at hearing'

Lily was shocked at hearing the high pitch voice scream out in excitement and relief as they neared Trinity's home location. She half smiled to herself, looking at the woman who held some intel to Trinity's looks. "Trin don't worry. I know where your bike is, we'll get it to you before you go to school. Now, rest up. It's been a very... tiresome... day" she choose her words carefully, not wanting to reveal to much information to the girl mother. It would be up to Trinity if she wanted to let her mother know about her day out or not.

All the girl wanted to do now was get to a hot bath. Soak away the pain and burns she had all over her body. The now dried blood making her feel rather uncomfortable, along with her now acid eaten ragged clothing. She sighed, she really did look a mess. Though she had one more task to complete before returning to her small dorm room, she had to return Trinity's bike. It was her fault after all it had been forgotten. She knew where it was, and understood the importance of it.

Annie nodded at the mother and said quietly, "I'm sorry we could not bring her back sooner." As she spoke she wondered if it was safe to leave the girl alone with her family. Would Leviathan return for her? How much did her family know about her situation? Surely they would have noticed something strange when living with her.

She thought about speaking up about Leviathan but didn't. After a pause she said quietly, "Your daughter took some damage from the equivalent of a lightening strike and no doubt has some acid burns on her. I wouldn't be sure if sending her to school tomorrow is the wisest decision. Also-"

She paused and glanced at the other two girls, should she mention Mr. Cortez to the mother? Annie sighed, she didn't know how to deal with mothers. Over protective fathers? No problem. Mothers? She was hopeless, never growing up with one she had always been unsure around them.

"Don't worry about your bike, we can always find that later. Right now you need to rest. Can you walk?"

"I think I can stand." as Trinity was put down on her feet her mother leaned in to carry her weight on her shoulder. She smiled as Lily informed them that she knew where her bike was, One less thing to worry about.

"My goodness, Trinity you need a shower." her mother said stating the obvious. She heavily trusted that she would hear about it when Trinity was ready to tell her.

Trinity could not agree with her mother more and held no argument nor relay explanation how she got this roughed up. She couldn't wait to get home. She did pause on if she should tell her mother about the "mentor" she met today. Yet the thought of letting her mother know that she's been hanging out with some random older man who had strange abilities as well would unease her. Plus, he did tell her not to mention him to anyone and so she would keep her promise and kept her mouth shut.

Her mother thanked everyone again and reassured them that she would arrange to have the doctor look at her tomorrow morning.

As she and her mom head back to their house near by Trinity turned back to them and said, "Thanks" with half a smile.

Gidget giggles as her helmet's faceplate re-polarizes to hide her features. She decides now would be the best time for a gesture of good faith. There is a loud hissing sound as steam escapes the seals of her armor. The plates fold back in on themselves to allow Gidget's entire body to be shown.

The suit belies her small frame. Her hands and feet don't actually reach the hands and feet of the suit. Inside of the over sized forearms and calves are pedals and grips to controls the hands and feet. She hops out and turns to look up at her suit, which now stood almost a foot taller than her. She turns back to Trinity and her mother, wiping some sweat off of her brow. Her shaved head glistens a little in the sunlight. "Whew, I've gotta do something about the temperature in there."

She smiles broadly, and holds out a small piece of paper to Trinity. On it is a phone number. Gidget giggles and says, "I know someone who might be able to help you. She has shadow powers just like you. If you're ever in trouble, or decide you'd like to meet her, just give me a call. I'll be here before you can say 'speedy service.' My name is Gidget, by the way, and I really like your hair. I used to have pink hair until it was shaved off a few days ago by some rich jerk-mo. Your ears are cute too. You look like an elf princess." She giggles again and smiles cutely.

Trinity was surprised at the figure that came out of the suit. She was much shorter than she pictured. She accepts the paper she was given and smiled at the idea that she would come quick if she calls. Then she frowned at the label "elf princess". It was at this point it felt like she was only paying her compliments to get her to like Gidget. "Thanks... Gidget" she said with no enthusiasm which could easily be interpreted as her being tired.

At first she thought she would toss the piece of paper away but then thought she shouldn't be rash. She could probably use a back up plan in case if things with Lev didn't work out. She still had mixed feelings about Lev, he did tried to kill that girl after all yet she felt that he wasn't himself and was out of control or something along those lines. He could not believe that the same man that got her away from the reporter would be the same one attempting to kill people with his power. Trinity felt that she should give him another chance and perhaps he would explain what happened tonight. Perhaps he would tell her about the guy he was with, Christopher... was it?

Moments later she was taken to her room where she laid upon her bed. She rested a bit before she would take a shower. It felt refreshing, it was exactly what she needed to get rid of her worries of what went on today.

Annie sighed, crossing her arms as she turned to Gidget, "I think I've lived with you too long, Gidge, anything you say doesn't surprise me anymore." Frowning she glanced back at the house, "Perhaps we should have mentioned to her mother about Mr. Cortez..."

She reached into her pocket and pulled out the business card that the reporter had given her. Mr. Cortez would no doubt would be back for this girl, Trinity. She was too innocent. Too easy to corrupt, too easy to use. Shivering, Annie rubbed her arm, the chill from nerves far more than the cold weather.

"Lily, why don't you tell the Gidget where the bike is so she can get the bike, I'll take you back to your room," sighed Annie. She glanced at Gidget, "And you should head back to your brothers after that. Mr- Shane is probably spitting nails right now."

Gidget sticks her tongue out at Annie playfully, "He probably is, but he should have known better then to leave me alone in the R&D area of the organization he works for. Speaking of which, I've got to tell you guys all about that. There's a huge complex underneath the campus of the college. They help metahumans come to terms with and control their powers. They're also researching the effects of the meteors that hit us. I met people with all sorts of powers in the time I was there. It's absolutely incredible."

Annie sighed, relieved that she was an only child and not responsible for a little sister- especially one like Gidget. Saying he should have known better than leave her alone in the R&D area? "While that sounds incredible, it does also sound like a prison. I'd much rather come to complete terms with my powers on my own terms than being in some large underground complex."

"I'm going to take Miss Stinson back to her dorm," said Annie, "and then I'll go meet your brother I suppose."

Ako had stayed with Tansy as she was taken to the hospital. Because he was only a friend, however, he was forced to stay in the waiting room. He paced around the small room, slowly being driven crazy from having to wait. The static from the old TV caused by his power didn't help, either. He hadn't heard anything about her condition, but when he saw staff running towards her room, he knew it wasn't good.

Gidget shakes her head, "No, it's not a prison. If anything it is more like the Xavier institute in X-Men. The adults work in the facility if they want to, and anyone old enough to go to college attends the university. But I'll let you see for yourself, it's really awesome."

She turns her attention to Lilly and asks, "So where is Trinity's bike?"

Trinity was in a modified Gray Area- "dreaming" as the humans called it. He had tuned his senses to her soon after they had fled.
He broke his mind in halves, figuratively. One to stay here with Lev, and one to visit Trinity's dream. He solidified on a gray backdrop, it wasn't much of a dream, but it was close enough. He had to rouse her mind. "Trinity..."

He felt something for this girl, who had traits of a creature of darkness in a human body. What she must be going through... such separate, clean cut halves, at war with each other. He had to help her somehow... in any way.

Lily wrapped her arm around Annie, mainly to hold herself steady. She was getting dizzy again, her mind blanking every so oftan. Though she forced her mind to go the limits once more, forcing herself to not pass out.

"The bike is behind a trashcan on the eastern side of the ally you had found us in... It's hidden pretty well between the wall of a building and the trashcan, a small tree in front of it, keeping it from sight. " she said with a smile, watching as the door of Trinity's house closed. At least the girl was safe for now. "Someone needs to let her know that Cortez isn't what he claims. He's a murderer, a tyrant. I've seen him nearly kill a guy earlier. And not to mention he almost killed Annie.." she sighed, looking over to Annie, shaking her head. How did she get into this?

"Well, Miss. Annie, I suppose that going home on my own is not a option, plus I have four new occupants that I need to pick up first. So, can we go get the kittens first?" she asked, a smile finally creeping back over the dare devil's face. She couldn't help but to smile at the mental note of her snuggling on her bed with four newborn kittens, who where more then hungry at the moment. Even though she hated her mother, she would call the woman and ask her to get some nursery milk for the poor things. "Um... Where'd I leave my bike?" she asked, feeling rather stupid now. She couldn't tell if it was exhaustion, blood loss, or shock that caused her to forget what she did with the miniature bike, but she did in fact, lose it.

After a good dinner with her parents Trinity was in her room sleeping. She fell easily into a deep slumber due to how much she went through in one day.

She heard a voice...
cleardaystux
"Trinity..."

... this voice wasn't a real one but one that awaken her in her dream.

Her eyes were wide opened and glowing. From a distance you could see her eyes through the darkness. Dark mist surrounded her and it shaped into whatever emotions she was feeling. Good thing that for some reason all of that stayed within the dreamscape and in reality she stayed in bed.

"Who-who's there?" she asks uncertain whether she wanted to know the answer.
