Mhm, at least American drivers are courteous to pedestrians unlike other countries where they don't stop for anyone.

Hahaha, true that. You learn to dodge traffic in China, and you learn to jaywalk in America.

Isn't all the traffic in China like bikes and stuff?

Because there are too many trucks on the road.
I seriously had to dodge a truck that was charging along on top of a sidewalk.
Bus drivers in China also seriously abuse the horn.
But yeah, most people go on bikes/motorized bikes/I-hesitate-to-call-them-motorcycles-because-they-don't-fit-my-American-image-of-them.

It was just that one truck, but I wouldn't be surprised if there were other drivers who would do the same.
Yeah, that's the word I was thinking of : D

I still can't don't know if living in China is a good thing or not.

Well, the food rocks. And getting into college is so much simpler and more straightforward.

They don't have as much variety as we do though right?

In terms of colleges, true. We have much more "good" universities and colleges than they do. Much, much more.

Ohh. Well, if in terms of "variety" you mean more cultures are represented in the US, then yeah. There's definitely more different types of restaurants here.
But I mean, there's so many different cultures within China itself that each have their own style of cooking - it's like the difference between the way Northerners and Southerners cook - plus Chinese food rocks enough on its own - so it never really struck me that way.
But, long preaching aside, I suppose if you get a sudden craving for Italian food, Mexican food, or cheese, then yeah, you're pretty much out of luck rofl
But if you want American fast food, that's not hard. I mean, there's McDonald's, but more importantly, KFC xD

I never thought about the different parts of China before.
I can deal with out Italian food but I do like a taco once in a while.
Do you really like KFC or is there an abundance of KFC's in China?

Yeah, there are some places in China that can really bring on the spiciness. /Clearly not someone who comes from a place that can take much heat :'D
rofl Both. At least, where I went. It was crazy seeing people dressed up to go to KFC. The KFC we went to even had waiters and waitresses o_o

Reminds me of Mongolian food.
It's a restaurant over there!? But it's fast food!
