Selce smiled as their attacks began to visibly take their toll on Malfius. She knew he was near death and didn't wish to waste her breath if he was soon to die. "It looks like you die here lizard." She readied another magical missile spell but didn't cast it quite yet.

Kal backed away quickly. He'd let the others finish this. It seemed pretty much over as it was.

Laren strung one final arrow and took aim, feeling victory at hand the elf said simply, "This is your last chance Malfius, surrender the eye or die!"

Malfius, as he stood deadlocked with Tjaden, roared above all others:
"I gladly accept my fate. You all should be so fortunate."
With that, Malfius finally lost his strength in his arms that held the ferocious orc knight back. The dragonoid staggered as he was driven rapidly into the barrier assisted by the constant aid of the knight's allies.
As he collided, electricity rolled throughout his body.
1-2 Minor damage connected to Tjaden.
3-4 Moderate damage connected.
Results: The electricity surged through Malfius with a fury, though it barely reached into the body of the knight filled with righteous fury, minor damage dealt.
Malfius fell to his knees and glared outwards, bloodied and battered towards the group of adventurers who had felled him.
"Judgement day is coming... *cough*... You warm-bloods will witness the Destroyer's return, I envy you for that..."
With those last words, the cultist leader fell forwards and his lifeblood spread across the floor, the barrier guarding the Dragon's Eye dissipating in the process.

Kal quickly picked up the Sinew and Cloak. He wondered about the cloak, but he knew what to use the Sinew for... future traps. He loved the strength it seemed to have. "Selce? Identification please?" he asked her.

Erron interrupted the request "I'd like to get out of this dank tomb sooner rather than later, perhaps we can hold off on identifying these items until we are breathing fresh air again, and..."his tone taking a slightly more ragged turn "We must also collect Ronus' body for his dwarven kin, its the least we can do."
Erron took a look at the unidentified items and the sinew caught his eye, he seemed to recall that the more powerful weapons of the realms were broken apart to be put together again could this sinew be part of one of the legendary weapons such as the bow?

Laren smiled in victory as their foe fell died apon to ground then she noticed the halfling's guick grabbing of magical items in the spoils. Thusly she acted quickly, taking notice of the Halfing's already enchanted armor and weapon. The elf gave her small friend a light whack on the back of the head.
"No! You already seem to have helped yourself to the Party gold with your enchanted armor and weapon," Laren said scoldingly as she took both the Sinew and the Cloak from the halfling, then handed them off to Selce, "You know most of magic so I think it would be wise for you to hold onto these items untill we know what they do."
Hearing Erron's suggestion to wait for the identification Laren nodded in agreement, "Yes, the sooner we're out of here with the eye the better."
((She didn't hit Kal hard enough to do damage... I'm just protesting Kal getting more magic s*** because well... He has two items while the rest of us have one and thus doesn't need any more. May I suggest, depending on the cloak's enchantment that we give it to the new guy? Now if its a cloak that helps sneaking then Kal gets it but short of that...))

Selce smiled at Laren and nodded her head in agreement. "Yes I will hold these until we are out of peril." She managed to say despite the feeling of sadness that had swept over her at the mention of Ronus. "Shall we do whats needed and leave?" She asked before scooping up the Dragon's Eye. She waited to follow someone else down the narrow passageway out.

Kal turned back to Laren and growled. "With broken armor from our latest battles, I believe I need the new cloak," he spoke pointedly at Laren. "You wanna use tactics, like fake gold mixed with real gold to decieve a man that could've seen through it and sent police after me, be my guest. But since I layed my life on the line for these two items, I believe I deserve them. Thank you," he added harshly. He nodded to Erron about the body. "I can carry the body if someone else can grab the 'Eye'," he suggested. He knew the body would make Selce emotional, and Kal, a small halfing, probably wouldn't help in carrying the large sphere. Besides, if Kal got his hands on the body, he might be able to pull some sleight-of-hand for a bit of gold or something from the 'friends' body. He had greed on his mind. He wanted his due. He'd just helped to take down the Dragons and get the large magic thing. He wanted all he could get out of this.
((He only has one purest. But thank you ever so much. smile lol. Everyone has one. He wants his cloak. I was the new guy and didn't get anything magical til' the city. Then used my own tactics and abilities, plus a little gold to get them both. I believe the new new guy, can provide for himself. Especially with our amount of gold and magical request allowance for this item retrieveal. smile By the way, did we get experience from killing the boss? And the Dragon Riddle thing.... yet aren't up a level? ))

((You do have two magical items, you have the armor of guidance and the short sword of the tiger, remember? Check yourself on page 27 of the thread, there is no real problem with who carries what as we basically have a dimensional hole for stuff we find until we can properly check through it, as for leveling up....give it a few turns of events.))
"I doubt that new traps have been set along the paths we have already taken, let us make haste out of here, we do not know what effect the Dragon's eye will have on our escape from this hollowed ground. Erron surmised as he looked from each member of the party "I'll collect Ronus' body as I move quicker for my lack of armor, Selce if you would be so kind to cast light on my bracers and Tjaden's sword?"

Tjaden shook off the damage. Malfius' words had fallen on deaf ears where he was concerned. He had been too busy reorienting himself after the surge of magical energy. Tjaden was fighting off the fatigue of damage and battle, but he knew he had to keep his wits about him....they weren't out of the dungeon yet.
"We can squabble over the items after we hand of the dragons eye." The orc said. "I will take the orb, though I believe we should cover it with something. It would be prudent not to let its power reach out to the innocent townsfolk."

((Tonas would have told you if it was useless if it was broken. That word choice was simply to say that Kal took alot of damage))
"Perhaps the cloak could act as a shroud to cover the Eye so that no one has to touch it and thusly feel its dangerous power first hand. For all we know it could be trapped magically as well as mundanely" Laren said, pointedly ignoring the halfling to avoid a fight.

((Yeesh, loot fight. 1: Zack, your armor is not broken, no armor or weapons will take durability damage in this RP unless I specifically state that the item has been rendered useless. 2: The XP from this dungeon will be applied upon turn-in of the eye to the Archmage. This is primarily because I'd like for the joining event for XColdhandsX to occur prior so that he receives a level as well for being so patient for several months lol. 3: The Dragon's Eye orb is about the size of an ogre's head, roughly beach-ball size, but weighing around as much as a set of heavy armor 4: With Malfius dead, the magical protections are dispelled and there is no fear of taking damage while holding the orb... using it however *Wizard/Arcanist Only*, may yield some unusual results... 5: Do not forget about the Inventory/Character sheet on the first page of the OOC Thread, I attempt to keep track of everything that everyone is currently equipped with. On that note, Kaiten, please remove your posts on that first OOC page to make it look more official, I asked awhile back in the other thread, but it must have gotten pushed too far back before you saw it.))

((Comments on OOC have been deleted, I hadn't caught anything about deleting previous posts so I suppose it was. anyhow, can we get a move on now guys? Zero if you want your character to, I dunno, channel into the eye to see what'll happen its up to you.))
