Sokras sighed as he watched Austin play with L.A. This is...so peaceful. I'm happy, and yet, I can't help but feel fate is setting up a great power against us...
Reimei made Haku leave and take a bath after his brother and then went in to the kitchen to start on dinner.

L.A. Had fallen asleep again and austin put him down on the couch by him and Sokras.

"Hey, Austin, I saw some yummy fruit in the village market. I'm going to go get some, okay?" He said as he stood up and turned to face Austin with a smile.

"I will. Ah, no, I'll be fine." Sokras reassured and left. Once outside he whispered, "Sorry." He went to the village market, got a few fruits, and then headed for the village gate. "I can't do it after all, you all are far too precious for me to risk losing." He then ran into the forest.

"OK." Austin said and then watched his son sleep. After and hour Sokras still wasn't back. Austin was worried. He paced back and forth whiling rocking a crying Anei. "Sh..shhh.." austin said softly.

Haku and Gin then returned from their bath with Reimei in tow. "My, my. Someone sounds like they had a rude awakening." She looked up. "Hm? Where's Sokras?"
Sokras rustled around in the cave he was in earlier and found his old equipment. "Good, they're not damaged."

A half hour earlier, Sokras had just left the cave with his things and staff on hand when he was stopped by the last person he needed to see. Anei. "Sokras, what are you doing, coming out here alone?" "I was...thinking. And planning." Anei frowned, worried. "Planning what?" "That's...I need you to deliver a message." This caught him off guard. "W-what?" "Tell Austin and L.A. I'm sorry." Then he blasted Anei with a powerful lightning spell the knocked him out.
A half hour later, Anei stumbled in looking crispy. "Austin! It's a emergency!!!"

"where is Sokras?!" Austin yelled frantically as he looked at anei.

"He's going to the Glass Castle. Alone." Anei said. The then recounted what happened.
Sokras stopped to take a breather as he arrived at the next checkpoint. "Now, which way is North?" He asked no one in particular.

"H-He can't do that!" Austin yelled as he set L.A. down and got his arrows.

Anei stopped Austin before he could run off. "You'll never catch him on foot. Take my horse. Reimei and I will take care of L.A. if you want us to."
Sokras was now headed East.

"Thank you." Austin said as he left and got Anei's horse. He started to gallop off. he had to find Sokras.
