Angellea walked onto the playground dressed in her uniform. Her eyes scanned her surroundings before coming upon someone familiar. In her mind, she tried to place him. It was then she remembered and her face turned crimson...this was the guy she had fallen on from a tree. She looked at him. Under a tree she thought. Slowly she walked towards him and stood in front of him. "This is familiar," she said ," and slightly awkward."

Shepard galnced at the giorl approaching him. " I remeber you. Your the girl who likes to spy on people and then fall on to crippled people." he said annoyed. " Can I help you with something? As you see Im trying not to get fallen on" he said turning his gaze back to Gordon and the other girls.

Her eyes narrowed, a little aggitated. "I did not try and spy on you. I climbed a tree and it got dark, and I could not get down. I leaned forward to hear better, though I could have just read your minds, and fell. It was a simple mistake!" She huffed a little after rambling on in such a manner. "As you can see, I am not in a tree this time!"

" Read my mind? That makes it worse!" Shepard now doing the same thing Gordon was doing. He was hazing his thoughts which made them hard to read. He didn't trust those who read minds. His secert was his own. No one elses.
" Yeah..not this time..but not to trip ovr something and fall on me." he said looking at her. His blue eyes looked directly at her. He looked her up and down so he remeber who she was since he didn't get a good look at her that one time.

"I have no intention of reading your mind," she said. She stood, the wind blowing her long blond hair slightly. Her hands were on her hips and there was a mixed look of anger and amusement on her face. "You talk as if falling on you was a pleasure," she said.

" Yeah a pleasure for you." he said smiling at her. He laid back against the tree and closed his eyes. " Anyways why are you here? Shouldnt you be somewhere..like reading peoples minds or something." he said sighing a bit. He was a bit woren out but he wouldnt allow himself to fall asleep.

Angellea laughed, "A pleasure? Ha! You are rather cocky aren't you? And I am somewhere. I am here annoying you." She sat down in front of him on her knees. "Besides," she said,"You are the one who was going to say something naughty when I fell on you if you had not been distracted."

She walked down the path and settled herself on a swing. Swinging lazily her owl Hermes flew and sat on the jungle gym. She smiled as she watched him fly form bar to bar. Almost like a child. he was one of her only friends but she hoped she would make more at Ria High.

" Something naughty? What are you five?" he said looking back at her. " Whats matter cant stand a little profanity? Your just like every girl. Having fun until someone throws the f-bomb and you get all angry!" Shepard said still anoyed. Why was she bothering him? What had he done to deserve this?

" Well when your injured and where slipping in and out of sleep its hard to say things or even think. Not like you ever experainced a battle siuation. You'd panic at the first sign of blood. All the other students here no nothing of true battle. They know nothing of the hardships." Shepard said looking into her eyes.
" Your minding reading powers wont help you when your facing a monster stronger and faster than you. Thats why those powers are a waste."

Amorella Walked into the park and looked around. Over a ways there was a group of people arguing. She ruffled her wings her wings and went to sit on a bench to think. "I wish people would act like I existed. I'm always just part of the scenery. No one ever talks to the new kid." she thought to herself exasperatedly. She pulled out her sketchbook and coloured pencils to draw the group of people standing away. They were still arguing, but she drew them anyways.

She glared daggers at him. "Physical pain has nothing over emotional pain! You wouldn't know anything about that, now would you?" Her mind slipped off for a moment, her mothers words echoing in her head. She turned her face away as a small tear slipped down her cheek.

A,orella looked up from her sketch. The girl was now crying. "I wonder what happened there?" she muttered, going back to her drawing. Then, she thought to herself, "Maybe you should find out." She shoved her sketch into her bag and rose from the bench. She crossed the playground to a few feet away from where the girl was standing. She hesitated, then walked up to the girl and asked quietly, "What's the matter."
