Karin peeked over at him again, watching as the new cover just appeared there on the table. She gazed blankly at it for a moment, eyes widening as she saw the pages switch themselves automatically. She blinked at him a couple times as the book glowed and then he handed one to her. She took it slowly, tracing her fingers along the cover, and at the same time turning the page of her own book so it'd appear she was still reading. Once she was sure Suka had finished doing what he needed, she shut the book gently and left it closed on the table before her, just staring at it for a moment. It almost looked as if she was rethinking over what was said inside, like she was making sure she understood it all clearly.

After a couple moments more, Karin suddenly slid back her seat and leapt out of it. She gathered the books carefully in her arms, glancing at Suka before walking up to the librarian. "Thank you very much," she said, offering a bow as she handed the books back. The woman just nodded and watched as Karin hurried away, appearing anxious to help her friend who didn't exist. She blinked as she saw Suka staring off at another male who also smelled somewhat of wolf, and maybe fox as well... Karin shivered slightly and watched him for a moment as he appeared to almost doze off. Then she looked back at Suka. "Ready to go?" she asked softly, a rather sleepy smile over her face, like she'd been exhausted from her intent reading.

Karin hurried after Suka, pausing as he suddenly took a book off the shelf and tossed it at the other male who'd been falling asleep. She tilted her head curiously as she watched for a moment before continuing after Suka to the door. She slipped past him as he opened it and instantly reached into various pockets of her sweatshirt and pants, pulling out the flowers she'd stuffed inside and tossing them away. She sneezed a couple of times, then bent to wipe her pollen covered hands on the grass before springing back up to face Suka. "So, find what you need?" she grinned, still amazed the plan had actually worked. "I'm a pretty good actor, don't you think?" she added proudly.

Karin grinned proudly, happily accepting the complement, but pausing at the comment about him watching out. She shook her head, laughing to herself. "No way. Why would I need to trick you?" she asked honestly, tilting her head. Then she stopped again, frowning slightly as he said he hadn't found what he needed. Her face fell slightly at the dicovery. "Oh..." she murmured. She'd been very excited that she'd helped him get the book he needed, but now that she realized there were many more her spirits dropped a bit. Though, as he thanked her, her ears perked right back up again. "No problem," she said happily. "Don't worry about it."

Karin blinked at Suka in surprise and then smiled warmly. "Yes, I feel the same," she nodded as she continued trailing just slightly behind him towards the courtyard. His words had shocked her for a moment, but she was actually really glad to hear them. She'd been afraid of being rejected here just like she had been at home, but it seemed that was not the case after all... She contined smiling, mostly to herself now as she moved forward, hands back in her sweatshirt pocket and once more playing with the X he'd said she could have, at least for a while. Her ears were perked happily as she glanced at him, seeing he was watching the floor, but she thought nothing of it. He was probably just thinking to himself.

Ska watched his feet as they continued moving him forward and stuck his hands back into his poackets. He looked up at where he was going and then quietly let himself ask her another question "How long are you planning on being here?" he looked over at her quietly and then back to where he was going. He knew that if Yuri left he might end up leaving too if he did not see any good reason to stay.

Riley woke up a couple hours later in a dreamy daze. He blinked in the bright library light and felt the book slip off his lap. It made a soft plunk as it fell open-mouthed on the floor. Blinking, he sat up and noticed that most of the students had not been there when he'd first drifted off.

He got up, stretched, and picked up the book. He slid a bookmark between the pages and brought it over to the reception center.

"I'd like to take this out, please," he said, brandishing his student ID.

The receptionist quickly logged the book into his account and handed him back his ID. He tucked the book under his arm, glanced once more around the spacious library, and left.
