Iri scratches her head with a wing elbow. Then she looks between Reeve and Tier. It seems obvious where this is going.
"So, we agree on staying on defense for a while? At least until we can get reinforcements and train up the students? I don't plan on defending forever. We can't do that. Eventually, we'll break down. It's inevitable. But when we've got something better against Bao, we may be able to start fighting against him and Nekojiri again."

Because he didn't want to run after Jin all the time like some sort of dog, Ookamimaru went out to investigate the dojo. After all, he still wasn't sure if it Really was the Rai dojo. After a while he returned to the kitchen, standing in the doorway. It actually was the Rai dojo. He had gone in a room full of electricity and his hair was all poofy due to the static. In the kitchen there was one person he never saw before, and one person he didn't know the name of.

She tilted her head back. "I'll agree to the defensive concept, even if it only is due to Bao designing everything to nullify any Rai technique lower then upper A-rank techniques."
"As for Ishira... I don't see her being under mind control. Reeve's mindset before is a great example what mind control usually looks like after all. That's why I don't even bother giving her the chance."
She turned her head to Tier, finally giving him her attention. "I really hate to admit that I'm willing to agree with you. Though I question if you were involved in her supposed death threat during the take over"
She sighed, talking in English but the low tones only dragons would be likely to hear. "I really didn't want to be involved in a crowd after all this"

"Defense for now would be wise, as you say." Tier nodded at Reeve, "Tier Krahe." Bardiel..? His single yellow eye strayed off to the side as he watched Ookamimaru walk in. Tier's attention turned to Lina's comment, "Kukuku. That's understandable to be suspicious after all that's happened, but Kansou and I have different points of view at this point."
His eye turned to look at Reeve now, "You were the former teacher of Rai. Are you going to take the spot as it's Sensei once more? Daizing has gone missing for a long time now."

Reeve shakes his head, holding up his empty hands defensively. "I can't. At least, not for right now. Saying I'm not of sound mind all the time is sort of an understatement, and honestly, though I don't...know why I'm telling you this, since we just met, but I am afraid that if I were in charge of students, I would send them out before they were truly ready because the war with Nekojiri is too personal. I am eager enough to fight that I would make bad calls. I have done so already, and I can't risk young lives with that."

Her eyes looked at Tier. Taking calm notice of his wording.
She turned her head to Reeve. "Last I checked I'm the only one around regularly that's ranked as a student anyway, you really think I'd follow your orders if I disagreed with them?"

Not really following the conversation, Ookamimaru tried to let his hair look less poofy. He tried to keep it down by rubbing over it, but that only seemed to make it worse. His hair cracled and stood upright due to the static. Irritated, he leaned to the wall with crossed arms and folded back ears, as if he was angry with his own hair, and wanted to turn his back on it.

Reeve shakes his head. "I don't really think it's fair to call you a student anymore, Lina," he says with a small, humorless chuckle. "What have I got to teach that you don't know? Besides, you've beaten me in combat... You're clearly a graduate, at least from what I can tell. When I was talking about students, I meant newer nin than you."

Tier was half looking at Ookamimaru's struggle with his own hair while listening to Reeve and Lina's statements. "Hmm. Then if Reeve isn't fit for teaching Rai yet-- and seeing that Lina is far more experienced in it than any of us here.. Then logic would state that Lina should be the next Rai Sensei. For now. Wouldn't it?" Tier's eye looked at Iri.

She shrugged. "Still always things to learn, and when there aren't you make them up. If you want to argue combat we will need to actually fight with only Rai to argue that.."
She tilted her head back. "I'll show anyone the ropes if that's what's needed, but Rai isn't the most popular element at the moment. Considering the machines around use Rai or counter it it isn't surprising."
She noticed Ookamimaru and decided it wouldn't be polite to ask.

"Well," he replies, "If you're at the point of making them up, you're just as far along as me. I'm not saying you should or shouldn't teach in my stead- Just don't think of yourself as beneath the position."

"Maybe then" She looked thoughtful. "I suppose, though I still question what tricks I don't know yet but have seen"

"If you know the basics, you can work your way to it...maybe we should train a bit sometime, see what we both don't know." He gives a wince, rubbing at his temples. He's clearly all chakra'd-out. "Just..not now."

Sighing tiredly, he keeps rubbing his temples. "So...what did you have in mind, Iri?"
