Emdyion put down the packs and bundles on teh ground he looked about excitedly, this was teh first time since waking up that he'd been outdoors.
Though it was cold out, it wasn't cold enough to freeze the river. and the fresh smeel of the tress. Dymion was eager to go off an explore, but he held back, helping Adel set up the tents.

Apollo joins them, helping silently and looking... well, grim... But of course, neither of the boys knew that he was speaking with Diana all the while.
"What will we have to do first? Dropping him from an extreme height... I think I can call a bear out here as well to wrestle with him. As well as our own magics, it should be enough to train him... But we have to get started right away"
He had said it for his own sake as much as hers, knowing it would be hard not to give in and protect Endymion or let his lover do what he yearned to do on a camping trip.

Diana nodded. "Once camp is set up we should grab him right away and fly up, something very unexpected is sure to awaken his powers in a short amount of time." She watched as the Dymion helped the mortal boy put the sleeping bags in place. Out loud she said. "Endymion once your done let's go for a walk. Adel, you can stay here and wach the camp for us."
There was no need to scare the boy.

Apollo nods slowly, finishing the tent he was working on, Diana... Can you please.... can you please release him when we get to the height....? I don't know if I can do it without... without hesitating... I'll make sure to only catch him though if he is a foot or so from the ground, to give him a full chance for his powers to spark.
"Yea, in fact... If you want, Adel, you can get started on the campfire. We'll have to cook lunch in a bit, so if you're interested..." He smiles and tosses a box of matches to the boy.

"Alright...I guess." Adel caught teh match box and looked down at the place where he put the fire wood.
Endmyion smiled at Apollo pleased that he would be coming on a walk with him.
"Just think, if he dosen't learn to use his powers.... Zeus will kill him anyways." Diana said as she started to walk along a path through the trees, bekoning Dymion to walk with her.

Apollo sighs silently, following them, still speaking to Diana, "I know.... It's just, in order for this to work, it has to be done before he can realize we are testing him. Emotions of betrayal will draw out the powers as quickly as will the danger he will be in... It's just going to be hard to let go of him from such a height.... But I will have to do so, I suppose... But I suppose me dropping him would heighten the effect..."
They had been walking for about ten minutes when Apollo's hand slips into Dymion's. He gives him a small affectionate smile. Then out of nowhere, they were high in the air, amongst clouds, looking down at the trees. Apollo gives Endymion a nonchalant expression before releasing him.

Endymion looked momentrarly confused at the sudden change of location. then feeling his stomache drop he screamed as he realized that he was falling!
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Invisable to his eyes Diana feel beside him near enough to put her hands out and catch him if need be. She winced hearing him scream so loudl and full of terror.
Endymion screamed as he fell throught the clouds, seeing theland far below the young man let out a fresh scream, the rush of nearly freezing air numbing his lips. "AAAAAPPOLLLLOOOOOO!!!!!!!!"

Every muscle in the sungod's body tenses and he's left trembling at the high altitude. He tries hard to regain his composure. It was hard though with his lover's terrified screams were ringing in his ears and the tears were making steady tracks down his cold cheeks.
He vanishes from the air, coming to stand at the ground right below where he had let Endymion go, looking up. He murmurs even though his lover couldn't hear him, "Come on, Dymion.... Let it out.... Save yourself, darling...."

Stark fear charged throught him. Why wasn't Apollo catching him? Why did he do this? Behinth the fear a far more stronger emotion emerged: a sence of betrayel.
"Why did he do this? Why? WHY!!"
He sqeesed his eyes shut as the ground came rushing up tears running back in the rush of the wind....an ache in his chest truned into a cry a scream of pain and outrage. "AAAAPPOLLOOOO!!!!"
Just before he reatched the trees, a sharp blue light erupted from his body, surrounding his forum in a blue glowing ball that just stopped just barly touching the tops of the trees.
Nearby, Diana sighed in relief, he had done it....

The sun god felt a sharp piercing feeling in his chest, but the next time he looked up, all he could see was a blue orb abovethe treetops. He appears infront of Endymion, staring at him in awe, tears still flowing down his cheeks.
He suddenly can't hold himself back any more and launches himself at Endymion in midair, hugging him like he had just come close to losing him. He and Diana had both been standing by, but still. He hugs Dymion tighter, tears still flowing freely.

At the embrace, the being in the middle of the blue orb let lose and explostion that flattened the surrounding trees.
The blue light faded, revealing Endmyion in his semi-devine form. on his skin, pin points of light tracing deliculte patterns, his eyes a field of soft blue. Milky tears where running down a face fill of pain.
Why? the mental voice was full of anger, directed at Apollo. I called for you and you didnt' come...

Apollo blinks, backing away in surprised fear of Endymion's wrath. This was not the gentle, blushing lover he knew. This was an angry, powerful god whose soul anger was directed at another god.
He tries to keep the fear out of his mental voice, but he couldn't hide the sadness, Lover... If I had, you wouldn't have found this power... I love you Endymion, but I had to let you come into your own ability... Or I really will lose you.... I would have caught you before you hit ground had your powers not broken through.

"Would you really.....??" The words where also said in a hushed whisper of consumate anger. He floated down to the earth and knelt on his knees, his body shaking from.....what? Anger? Saddness?
Endymion leaned forwards covering his face with his hands as he cried out his hurt.
Diana, bit her lip, her own tears just barely contained. She knew now, just what Edmyion's goddhood came from. The moon-goddess trembled in fear, hopeing agaisnt hope that Apollo wouldn't realize.

His heart throbs, aching and broken, in his chest as the sun god sinks to the ground, a few feet from Endymion, trying to fight back the sobs rising in his body. He glances up at Diana, his eyes suddenly harsh and voilently cold, voice hard as he growls in her mind, You know something.
His attention leaving her, he kneels before the crying god, his voice soft and shaking, audible, "Endymion... You know I would... I love you with all of my existence... I'm so sorry I had to do that..."

Diana Trembles at the words, her mind full of fear, cloudign all other thoughts.
Emdyion sobbed, covering his ears to his words, they only made him hurt more.
"Apollo....." he wept the name, feeling his heart breaking. For a long moment he just cried.
