Garret had a million things racing through his head. He pulled out his dagger and raised it he yelled and stabbed the scar on his hand. He pulled the dagger out and then slashed and X over the scar.

Katsuko withdrew in surprise. when she saw what he had done and quickly ripped off a portion of her dress and took his hand. she gently wrapped his hand in the long strip of cloth to stop the bleeding.

Katsuko tied the knot tightly enough so that the bandage would actually work and not fall off. "you should see the doctor about this to disinfect it." she told him.
