Nothing happened! Mimi told Mina, a faint blush still on her face. She sighed when Hiro spoke. "He will, but we will be ready for him. Don't worry, I'm positive we can take him if we work together." She said.

Mimi laid on her side on the ground. She played with the grass slightly as she laid there. thinking about everything that had been going on today.

Leah sighed and laid back. The cat jumped on her chest. Instead of batting it away she reached up and started petting it. It started to purr softly and Leah smiled.

Hiro stood up. "I'm going on a walk," he declared.
"Huh? But-" Mina started to say.
"Don't worry. I know this area more than anyone else," Hiro said, then walked away. When he was away from the camp, Hiro leaned his back against a tree and looked at the stars that were showing through the trees. No matter what he thought about, his thoughts kept drifting back to Mimi. Why do I feel like this? Why do I feel that I have to be by her? Why does everything seem so right when I'm by her side?

Annexus sat down next to Rina. "Don't worry, I'm sure she'll be alright. I don't think that whoever was possessing her is still there, so the danger is probably gone. She would be free to go now, if you wish it, but at this point, she is probably safer here at the castle."

Rina nodded. "Yes. It probably is safer here," she said. "It will be easier to protect her if she's near by."

Annexus stood and hugged Rina. "Don't worry, I'll make sure that she stays safe. He turned and walked toward the door. "There is someone that I want you to meet in a little while. Come down and join us for dinner a little later."

Annexus entered the dinning hall, where a young boy in a simple cloak was waiting for him. "Ah, Seth, I hope you are hungry. I've had your favorite prepared tonight."
Seth turned to face Annexus. His gaze was filled with respect. Annexus was like a father too him. "Thank you, My Lord."
Annexus waved a hand. "Please, as I've said before, just Annexus."

Stefisgarden Rina nodded. "Yes, sir," she said. I wonder who he wants me to meet, she thought. ((your not the only one Rina......)) The cat watched at Hiro left then jumped off of Leah and ran after him. It found him and jumped in his lap and gazed up at him, wanting to be petted.Lilly sat back in her chair. The drawing sat there as beautiful as it was when she started. Except maybe just a bit more beautiful. She wanted to know what Annexus though of it but wasn't quite sure if it was ready yet. She shrugged her shoulders, not really caring. If need be she could fix anything that Annexus didn't like or thought needed changing.

Mimi looked up and watched him leave, sighed once he was out of sight. She had blocked everyone's thoughts from her mind at the moment so she could think for a moment. She laid on her back and looked up at the stars in the sky. She tried to get her mind off of Hiro, but had no luck. She wondered why he left so quickly. She could tune into his thoughts if she wanted.... She pondered for a moment before she let eveyone's thoughts enter her mind again. She sat up and shivered slightly. She was cold. She scooted a bit closer to the fire and watched the flames.

Annexus offered Seth a seat. "If you'll excuse me one moment, I need to tell Lilly that dinner will be ready soon."
Seth took a seat, he looked down at the table and said. "She likes you, you know that?" He looked up when he heard Annexus turned around. "But you return those feelings . . . don't you?"
Annexus looked at him a moment, before replying. "Yes, I do. And I don't care that I will live my life far longer than her. All I can do anymore is be happy now . . . without thought to the pain of the future, like a normal human would."

When the cat sat on Hiro's lap, Hiro absentmindedly started to pet it.
