Kenji silently continued to cook the meal and when he finished he distributed each of them a plate. "Here we are..." he said giving a smile. Though when they finished two small darts hit him and the fox. "Ouch" he said as he pulled the dart out but before he could do anything he fell off to the side knocked out by the tranquilizer, as was the fox. Then a Bushin elite walked out of the Bushes and looked at Shoko. "Remain calm." he ordered in an emotionless tone. He walked over to Kenji's bag and took out the mask that was for Shoko he then walked over to her and took off the mask. Giving a bit of a smirk to her as he did so. "Shoko Suprano....would you like to learn of your parents? Your past? and would you like your future to be as one of the elite?" he asked her holding out the mask and his grin becoming wider. "It's simple...I'm offering you a chance to become an elite, you get to learn of your past and everything, there is a consequence however...." he stated as one of the Bushin elite appeared nearby, it was a young girl. She took off her mask to reveal a seal on her forehead before she put the mask back on and disappeared. "You will be given a seal to ensure your obedience to the Bushin...and a few other things shall be done..." he stated, he was offering her a unique opportunity, but what she didn't know it was also to manipulate her attitude to avoid her causing an uprising within the Bushin later.

Shoko put her bowl down and took Kenji's before he fell over and burned himself with it. Putting that down she looked at the elite. Moving her eyes to the young girl then back to him. "What are the other things?" Looking at the mask she knew why it was made and fit her but even Kenji had a mask but she broke it.

The Bushin nodded now that he had her attention. "I'm sure you destroyed Kenji's recruit mask by now, well...in our prediction we gave him another. The mask for a partner...as you saw earlier those two were on their way to Bushin Elite, we had them visit you...the partner wasn't always looking that way. There is a process that you put your partner through...you will lose your Bushin Instincts but then you will be 'linked' with your partner, bascially you'll be able to read each other's thoughts. However, the partner is given the other seal for this...one you will be taught. Also...you will be held to higher Bushin standards....of course Kenji doesn't have to be your partner, we can always send him back as a recruit. Other than the partner situation....your seal and his will make you obedient to the Bushin hierarchy. Other minor things will occur but you won't lose all of your emotions don't worry." he stated as he pulled out an kunai and marked the top of her mask under the leader symbol. 'The Hidden Ace.' she would be able to give Kenji his nickname if she chose him as her partner.

Shoko looked at Kenji. It was a chance to finally know her past and be linked with Kenji. Numing her finger a bit and looking at the fox. "I want Kenji as my partner. so I guess it's ok." Those kind of offers didn't happen over and over so it might be a good idea.

The man nodded as several elites appeared and lightly pinned Shoko to the ground. "Remain calm...where do you want the seal?" he asked forming the necessary hand seals as the other elites he brought with him who were all elites began infusing Shoko with their chakra to numb her body. What she didn't know was that this would cause her a good deal of pain, but in exchange she would remember everything from her past. The other consequences would become evident later after they dealt with placing the seal on her.

"On my forehead like that lady had." It was so she was reminded of it. Feeling her body go numb she relaxed a bit more.

The man nodded as the medical ninja finished he then walked around her and placed his hands on her forehead. "This is your first step...there is no going back." he stated as he infused the seal on her forehead. An immense shock would surge through her body, like being hit by a lightning bolt. All of her memories before she was turned into a Bushin would be returned, as the seal settled in branding her. Now if she were to ever disobey the hierarchy of the Bushin the seal would cause her immense pain, and on occasion her dreams would be of the Bushin ways she was taught slowly conditioning her to become even more like a Bushin. After she had her flashback of memory and the seal settled in the man was able to remove his hands. He looked at Shoko and waited for her, because the next part was to brand her partner and he would tell her what it would do.

She clenched her teeth and nearly clawed into the two shinobi holding her. She had closed her eyes when the flashback started. Remebering her parents and now she knew her white hair came from her dad and her long hair from her mom. Opening her eyes again the bushin let go of her cause they were done. Sitting up she felt her forehead.

The Bushin leader looked at Shoko and showed her hand seals. "Now...your turn...you have to place this seal on your partner. I will link the two of you, it has some minor side effects, mainly his eye color will change to match yours...also you can adapt certain aspects of him during it subconsciously this may include changing hair color...or some have been known to alter personalities a bit, however this won't be able to be prevented by you...if you want we can wake him, and then numb him for you." he stated his tone being one of kindness and genuine care for his fellow Bushin. The even always reminded him of his and as such he was very nice to those who took the path.
(Just put in the post that his hair color changes, or what not if you want it to. lol)

"That pain hurt...better to keep him asleep till after." She shook her head to waking him and looked at the seals. Moving over to him she looked back at the man. Making the hand seals she touched his forehead.

Kenji felt a large jolt through his system, it was so fierce it snapped him out of his sleep. He saw Shoko with her hand on his forehead and the massive pain coming from it. He dug his hands into the dirt as he saw flashes of his past in Mist, working on making ships with his dad until he was 6 and learning how to cook from his mom, his original hair and eye color came from his mom but his hair style was his dad's. His eye slowly shifted from their brown hue into a tint of red with black that matched Shoko's. Then as the process continued time seemed to slow for a minute. 'Shoko...what's going on..' he thought and only shoko would hear it, almost like he was talking to her but nothing but his clenched teeth were evident meaning he couldn't have said it.

Her eyes grew wide. "You'll see." She smiled at him and finished the seal in his head. When the flashbacks would end it would be done.

Kenji's eyes widened he swore her lips hadn't moved, but he was distracted as he remembered something else, a small dog he use to play with, it was the family pet. He then remembered sailing with his parents, laughing and smiling. The flashbacks ended soon after and he breathed a bit heavily. 'What does she mean I'll see?' he thought before sitting up and looking at the group, his hair had grown darker into a black color that contrasted Shoko's white and he looked mildly confused. The Bushin Elite looked over at the alterations made by Shoko's subconscious at least the one's he could see. He smiled noticing it was over. "It is done then...Shoko, is there anything else you want to know. As you are now in this higher grouping I may explain anything you wish to know. Consider it a gift into yours, and Kenji's new status." he said giving a smile.

Shoko looked at Kenji when his hair changed. Turning to the man. "Why did it hurt?"

The man looked at Shoko dead in the eyes. "It hurt because of two main factors one....we had to open your mind so it could link with the seal you placed on Kenji's, two it input a way for you to be hurt for disobeying the hierarchy, a minor factor is that it unlocked those sealed memories of when you were young. If that is all...you should explain to your partner what happened, and let him see the changes." the man said smiling, he felt the two would be a good pair after a bit of training.
