Chloe rolled her eyes. "Couldn't you have taken those out earlier?" she asked, not expecting him to hear her. "great, and he didn't even share with me. and i don't even know where we're going!"

Soma ran back to Chloe and swept her off her feet, and then ran back in the direction he was running in.

Chloe squeaked when Soma snatched her up. she clung to his neck and her legs tensed up. "You- you could have just given me a speed potion." she said, her voice being snatched away by the wind.

Soma slowly took a dagger from his pocket with his free hand and gripped the blade so hard he started to bleed. He then put his dagger back and held his hand over Chloe's tongue letting blood drip onto it.
