"Learing together would be great!" Amaya said happily "I'm so glad to have company, I so loansome before."
She walked in the direction that Sakura's finger was pointing. And entered the kitchen once more.

This deeply moved Amaya, she felt wanted and needed.
"I am thankful for you friendship." She said to Sakura and then glanced around the kitchen.
"What do you suggest we eat?" She asked, amazed by the mounds of food.

"An apple..." Amaya repeated "Or a peach."
She picked them both up and tried to choosed which one tempted her most. She decided on the peach in the end and poured her and Sakura a cup of tea.

"Thank you." Sakura said then turned to Amaya, "If i am not causing any trouble to ask you, but what was your life like before you arrived at the okiya? You do not have to answer if you do not wish."
Sakura wanted to know if there was a reason the young girl was so shy or if it was her personalitly. (post 24)

Akemi faintly heard a new arrival come into the okiya and decided to leave Kyouku and go in search of the newcomer. She shuffled out of the maids' quarters and found her way back to the kitchen. She picked up the few remaining plates of food that had long since turned lukewarm, what with all the drama going on and carried them carefully into the dining room. Akemi arranged them neatly on the table and peered out into the serene gardens of the Okiya.
She heard two voices, and saw what must have been the newcomer clipping the trees with another maid. They seemed to be having a great time and she was pleased that the maid was giving her a good impression of the Okiya.
Akemi decided to go and introduce herself. She smoothed down her robe and ran her fingers through her hair, arranging it neatly on her shoulders. She slipped her feet further into her zori and opened the sliding doors that led out into the garden.
Akemi smiled to herself and stifled a yawn; the day had been a long one and she was ready to collapse on her futon by now. Nevertheless, she carried on walking in the direction of the two girls. When she reached the newcomer, she bowed lightly and said, "Hello! You must be new here! We've had a quite a few arrivals already today! I, too, am new maid at this Okiya. My name is Akemi Saitama, I hope we can be friends. What is your name?"

Sakura was surpirsed to see another person but she quickly came to her senses and bowed to the young woman, "My name is Sakura CherryBlossm." she said and smiled ever so sweetly at the girl ,"I hope we can be friends also, that will make me most pleased." (post 25)

"What a lovely surname!" Akemi exclaimed, beaming back at Sakura. "It would be most wonderful if we could become friends! Would you like any help tidying the gardens? I have nothing else to do." Akemi turned her gaze to the far end of the garden, slowly taking in all the detail of this wonderful place she had never been before. She breathed in the sweet smell of the flowers and smiled widely. Never before had she been in such lovely surroundings!

"If you would not mind helping." Sakura said to the young girl. "Isn't this garden so beautiful! it is just memorizing. It reminds me of home so much." Sakura walked around the garden taking in all of it's beauty. (post 26)

Amaya sighed. She figured she could not hide everything.
"My life before this was a quiet one," She began "my father caught and sold fish in the market and my mother worked in a tea house. We lived far from town, so there wasn't really anyone around to befriend me...except for my first love. My parents died at sea, the boat sunk rappidly because it was rather rickity. I had no friends, no family. I was alone and that is how the shyness began."
It felt odd saying everything, especially to some she just met. Amaya did not care though, it was her business and she could tell it to whomever she pleased.

"That is terribly sad," Sakura said to Amaya, "Before i came here i lived in a small village by myself. I had an older sister but she died long ago, when i was about 8. So I took my only possesions, the clothes on my back and 76 yen, and headed to this area, to find a home. I miss my sister, but i think she would want me to enjoy myself, as your parents would like you to enjoy urself."

"I agree," Amaya said "you are very wise. I am thankful to have you as a friend, so I can learn from you."
Amaya then walked into a store cupboard and began to sweep the halls. She asumed that since she was a maid she work. She had noticed that one of the geisha face-paints pots was empty, so she would go to the market and refill it.

Sakura walked over to the cupboard and grabbed a broom, and started to sweep the halls. Sakura was interested by the young girl, Amaya, Sakura wanted Amaya to be less shy, and show the world her true colors. (post 28 )
