"I really don't want to trouble you." Mikuru said hastily. "If you want to go back to watching your show--"
"I could show her around!" Inuyasha, who had been in the doorway, spoke up. "I know the place well enough. Plus I haven't got anything better to do."

"Only when people are rude to me." Inuyasha protested, narrowing his yellow eyes at Rei, just a little. "But, yeah, I'll be nice."

Inuyasha gave Mikuru a wide smile, probably to show off his fangs. The shy girl was very hesitant to leave the calmer two, but still didn't want to be a bother, so she went with Inuyasha. "You're gonna have to meet Sora and Riku first. I'm not sure where Rin is. If she's around I'll let you two meet." He said as they walked off.
Ryou waited until the two were probably out of earshot before looking at Rei. Great. He supposed that now was as good a time as any to get this over with. "Rei... can I talk to you?" He asked cautiously, not sure what kind of mood she was in.

Rei turned and walked over picking up her soda. "Sure" Rei said the smile leaving her face.

"What Riku said was only partially true." Ryou began, twisting the edge of his shirt nervously. "Bakura wasn't in control at all. He was just there, and he told me to kiss you. It... it was more like he prompted me than ordered me." He paused to take in a breath-- his gaze was focused on the ground. "I did everything on my own, I swear. I meant everything I said. But when Riku just showed up and started talking like that, I got nervous and scared. I'm sorry."

Rei's eyes softed slightly tears threatening to come out. "You swear you ment everything you said..." Rei repeated staring into his eyes.

Ryou cautiously lifted his gaze, and met Rei's stare, unflinching. "I swear."

Tears filled her eyes and rei took a step foward wrapping her arms aound ryou and hugging him. She had never felt like this before for anybody and she had been so worried that it had all just been a game.

Ryou gingerly hugged Rei back. He was extremely worried, mainly about how on earth this would last. How could he be with a person when any day he might get the chance to go back to his own world? He couldn't just stop trying to get back. And he doubted Rei could come as well. And what about Bakura? His yami had sent previous friends of his into comas.

After a moment rei let go. "I'm sorry.." Rei said wiping away her tears. "I shouldent be crying.."

"Its okay..." Ryou said, perhaps a little awkwardly. He was still concerned about just being with Rei. "Also I'm really sorry about bringing Mikuru here. You know, turning on the television."

"Also I don't think we can be together." Ryou said, in one breath, rather abruptly. "I do like you, Rei, I really do, but-- I still have to go home. And my yami, he-- he--" He broke off, just falling away to stuttering a little.
