Ezio nodded and cleaned up the surgery area carefully. he cleaned all the tools that have been used thus far and organized it again. he then tenderly stroked Kir's head, trying to relax him.

Lily beat it as fast as she could out of the town and deeper into the caves. She knew what she needed to do to be stable for them. She got away from as many emotional signature as she could. Then she sat down on the ground and puled her knees against her chest, burying her face in her arms. Then she shut out almost every emotion, except for the want to stay alive. Her mind hit an unnatural calm. She wasn't dying, but she certainly didn't feel alive.

"He needs to get better," Bradley said, "Lily and Kir only have each other. I need to make sure he gets better for Lily's sake," Finally the last fragment was put into place. Brad sighed, "That's the first part..." He said and let the crystallis rest in the back of Kir's eye, "He's going to be blind there at least for a few months," He informed Ezio before placing the cut open part of his eye back in place, then his eyelid. Brad took a needle with some thread and started sewing Kir's eye back together, "This will help with the crystallization process in his body."
Kir was still perfectly stiff, but his sweating wasn't stopping. He was feeling the pain now.
"That morphine had a needle in it too right? Give him a few milliliters," Bradley instructed.

"I hope it does too, even if he doesn't have a pulse," Bradley said and put the last stitch into Kir's eye. It looked almost like another eyebrow under his real one.
"..." Kir's throat twitched as he started breathing again.
Bradley sighed in relief, "He's repairing," He said and got a cloth ready to apply an eyepatch over Kir's eye.

Ezio breathed a sigh of relief. "Altair is calm now... i might not of shown it, but he was worried for Kir, he sees him a bit like a older brother.. and Lily as his sister, or close to being a sister-in-law."

"sure, i can't preen, and i think the same that Lily would love to do it." Ezio said with a smile. he sat up on the bed, watching Kir for any movement of life other than breathing.

Lily jumped when someone called her name. Her intense hunger hit her. She immediately jumped to her feet and found a cave dwelling animal. It was drained of its blood in a matter of moments and then she ran in Bradley's direction. "What is it?" she asked when he was in sight.
