Kara shot up out of the earth and started brushed herself off as she checked the building's position and orientation. It looked right... Well, she wasn't going to worry about it. Shooting up into the sky, she checked inside the windows looking for injured people; luckily, the building had been pretty deserted.

Kara gave the building one last pass over, and then flew off again. Earthquakes... Great. Like things weren't unstable enough.

A bright flash of light sparked from the roof of the Daily Bugle, and soon a man in a sweat outfit appeared. Warp glanced around at his new surroundings a moment then pulled the scarf he had around his mouth off, as well as pull back his hood. It was…what would have been the equivalent of winter on the last planet he was on, so he came here dressed as such. He’d left everything on the time he’d been here just to have some form of a mask. Now that no one was around, he didn’t have to worry about covering his face.
He sighed and ran a hand through his hair to brush the mahogany strands out of his face. He was exhausted and had no cash whatsoever to get a room somewhere. He could just go back to that building he was at before…but he really didn’t feel like messing around with those other guys at the moment. He hated the thought of crashing at some abandoned building, but didn’t have any other option if he didn’t go back. He didn’t have the energy or desire to rob anyone for money…ergh, whatever.
Warp suddenly ran towards the edge of the rooftop and lept off of it, his feet glowing the second his feet hit the edge of it. His ‘fast forward’ move propelled his jump even farther so that he’d be sure to make it to the roof of another building. He free fell for a moment, then his body began to glow a different color as he neared the rooftop below him. His fall slowed almost to a crawl as he neared the building, and when the glowing ceased, he fell at normal speed. His legs began to glow the previous color, and he raced across the rooftops in a near blur.

On the top floor of the Daily Bugle, in the office of the Editor-In-Chief, his office, sat J. Jonah Jameson. J.J. was busy reviewing tomorrow's headlines of his paper, which sadly, in his mind, exhonerated Spider-Man of yet another crime that he'd recently accused him of. That damned Vulture... Well, it at least helped to keep Spider-Man honest. As long as people kept their suspicions about him, he'd stay the high ground, and not turn into the menace that J.J.J. always claimed he was. As it was, it was bad enough that he wore a mask. It proved his theory that no hero can keep it up all the time. Clearly, there was some underlying plot. The problem was that the web-slinger kept it well under wraps. If he'd bothered joining a government-sanctioned team, like the Avengers, then there wouldn't be such a problem. But as things stood in J.J.'s mind, he was just another costume running around his city unchecked, taking away all the glory from the real heroes, heroes like his astronaut son, and the police officers, and the firefighters, all of whom did incredible things every day without the need for masks. THEY had nothing to hide, unlike Spider-Man. Looking over the paper one final time, he got up, walked to his receptionist's desk, and handed it to her, saying, "Get it in print." He walked back into his office, and lit a cigar. He looked out the window, expecting to see the wall-crawler at some point, just to mock him.

For no apparent reason, phone lines were being crossed or cut off in mid-conversation, lights would flicker or go out completely, appliances would start running by themselves if they were plugged in, computers were suddenly being spammed with cartoon videos, and the tv channels were all set to Comedy Central.

All JLA communicators suddenly recieved this message--"This is Zatanna Zatara to all JLA core and reserve members; keep an eye out for a little girl, about five years old, red hair, red eyes, Caucasian, likely wearing a red and white dress. Answers to Rosie. ... Could be multiple versions of subject. If found, please bring back to watchtower. Repeat, bring to watchtower. And yes, Flash, I'm aware that this sounds like a lost kitten poster. Shut up."

A bright flash and a loud pop inside J.J.'s office proceeded the arrival of an orange skinned Tamarian -- catapulted onto a seated J. Jonah Jameson. The force of the blow wasn't enough to hurt either Kori or J.J., but it was enough to topple the editor's chair on it's back. The newspaper editor was now prone on his back with Kori's scantily-clad body pinning him with her boobs pressed against his face.

Starfire looked around slightly dazed, then noticed that someone was underneath her. With a now bright eyed smile, Kori inquired, "I am most sorry for my intrusion, sir. Could you please tell me where I was.... transported to? I was just in Europe a couple of moments ago."

As Starfire still lay on top of Jameson, his face is still in Kori's cleavage.
