Kaos smiled, "No, Vermillion is going to be around for a couple more days."

Kaos smiled and laid what he had on him on the bar, "It's fine, I got it. Thank you for watching over her." removed his cloak and draped it over Yuma, "Alright love, To the grave yard."

~~~~A long walk, And a couple of smooches later~~~~

Kaos opened the portal to the Abyss and escorted Yuma inside

Yuma smiled looking at the headstone they came out near. "Vermillion must have felt the same irony I do now, to the left of the portal when you exited, the obelisk looking tombstone is his." Yuma got her bearings and moved towards town; "There are two graveyards in Arynia, the catacombs underneath the town itself, and here obviously. The catacombs are not used anymore due to the large amount of rainfall per year causes them to flood regularly."

Yuma stopped at the gate to the graveyard to the left was the road to connect with the main streets of Arias, but the road to the right faded into grass and wild wheat. In the distance to the right were a few ruined buildings that appeared to be very old, amongst them were barns that were maintained. "To the right is the ruins of what used to be a settlement of lighting demons that did not favor the delta, in the early days when the disagreements were left to merely words, they were left alone, but as the hatred grew in Arias. The king at the time sent a army into there and well nothing was left standing or living and it's existence forgotten completely from every map after that time."

"Not completely, a few tribes are still refusing to talk, but have conceded to halt attacks since the show of good faith in our support of the northern tribes against a common enemy." Yuma smiled shaking her head; "Yeah, he's not the only one though, Chrono had to bail me out of what apparently would have been a suicide fight on my first visit, because i didn't think i needed to pay some silly toll to walk across a stretch of ground."

"Yeah well that wasn't going to happen, I would have died trying to fight them first, and there are plenty of single women in the abyss. If they wanted to see a naked woman let them go through the process of earning it."

Yuma came to a rest in front of a bar; 'Who the hell turned my house into a bar?!" Yuma walked up tot he door and shoved it open to bang against the wall, Carnath looked up from pouring a drink. "Oh hi, Yuma i can explain, but before you blow your top and threaten to shave my whiskers the rest of the place is fine." If steam could shoot out Yuma's ears it would; "Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, but i need to speak to your bartender outside."

Yuma turned and indicated for Carnath to exit first. Carnath exited and spotting Akuma; "Hello." Yuma closed the door and Carnath turned to face Yuma; "Look i know i should have said something sooner, but I went to Mary's and you weren't home. Roo overheard you were taking off for the abyss. So i jumped on it, but the thing is my new recipe has hit it big. I'm drawing too much of a crowd for my little place, and its way to many to be considered social gathering now. However, i plan on paying your rent for the place, and I sound proofed the floors. You still own the place, and besides that the builders were working on established business to get them up and running again. So the only way your house was going to get finished was after everyone else's house and businesses were fixed first. I line jumped you a bit so to speak."

Yuma reached out and grabbed his robe in both hands and jerked him towards her until her nose was just and inch from his. "I didn't want my child growing up near a bar, or any place where shady men gather. This is something you ask face to face, and not just"jump on it." Yuma felt something run out her nose and her hand touched it, and looking at it the bloody nose was the last thing she needed right now dripping all over her new clothes. Yuma just stormed down the street to put some distance between herself and Carnath.

Yuma leaned against a building about a block down, and waited for the blood to stop dripping out of her nose.

"Thanks..." Yuma took the rag and placed it under her nose. "The store below was my plan for income while we raised our son/daughter, but I was trying to think of what to sell out of it."

Yuma sighed; "This is personal crap i can take care of on my own time." "Perhaps you need to listen to everything Carnath had to say before you dismissed him." Vermillion came around the end of the building; "Now before you ask, yes, I was standing there for a minute or two, and I'm responsible since it was me who gave Carnath the go ahead to have it done." Vermillion held out a cup of tea, and his other hand held out another towards Akuma. "It is my understanding that children deserve a sound home to be raised in, and gripe all you want about bars being horrible places. You'll need every cent you can get, and it will work if your vigilant as they say you are."

Yuma took the tea cup; "How did you know we were back?" Vermillion shrugged; "Wasn't hard really, Lena spotted you walking through town, and she told me which is why you got tea." Vermillion glanced at akuma; "Your cup is plain tea, I'm not under orders to medicate your beverages, but my hospitality remains the same if I'm bringing drinks."

"I'm hoping for half n half, but we'll find out in a few years." Yuma finished her tea and handed Vermillion the cup; "Well there is one more place of note that you should see, since it was built around the time the gateway was built." Yuma leaned against the building again waiting for Akuma to finish. Vermillion figured on what was last; "Lady Akuma, may i have a word with you alone?" Vermillion gestured to just a short distance from where they stood. Yuma seem interested by the sudden nature of Vermillion's request.

Yuma shrugged; "I've no problem with it, Vermillion is not one to ask without good reason, and we have time."

Vermillion spoke once they were out of earshot; "Yuma asked me to look for her mother amongst the people of the abyss after her first visit. Where your going has meaning to her as it is where she was left in Tolly's care, and Samantha just walked back into the delta without looking back. However, I didn't pull you aside for that, I pulled you aside because i found Samantha in the abyss, and she has cut yuma completely out of her life. Its sad really, but I don't want to crush Yuma with such news. I seek your council on how I should present it to yuma, or if i should at all."
