Which definitely meant Teddy couldn't stay with Markus even though he had offered. Serrenedy had actually, far as he could tell, shown no interest in as much as a nibble. He felt pretty safe around her, but he still thought it bore mentioning. "Please don't be mad I said that. You're really nice, I just... ought to shut up now, I think."

"That really works? Stupid question; you just said it would." Teddy grinned, cheering up considerably. This seemed like a much better option than hiding from his parents when he was home and slipping away when they weren't looking. Especially since he had no prior experience with that at all. "I'm going to take you up on that. And then... and then I guess it's time I start looking for my own place. Somehow I don't see my parents ever getting over it and treating me normally."

Serrenedy smiled "glad to help-you can have the west wing-do anything you like...just no garlic or crosses, and actually I'll be back in a bit-I have to drop something off at the new home of the world's biggest nucince-I do belive you've the plesuer of never meeting her"

Anita put her spoon in the sink, and looked at Cleo. "Well... are we ready for a little shopping?" she asked the fairy.

"The fairy at the bar? Yeah... she kind of got distracted before she could do more than talk about guys." Teddy remembered barely understanding a word she was saying. That fairy could talk a mile a minute. "Well, if I'm going I'd better pack some stuff. So... I'll just try to be ready by the time you get back. Then its adios." He wondered if he should leave a note or something, then he thought better of it. His parents weren't stupid; tonight he'd argued with them and tomorrow he will have disappeared. They would know why.

Serrenedy nodded"Tempias momutin Lattitude Cleo" In a moment she was standing at the door-parosol up agian. Cleo was going to answer when Serrenedy knocked.

Teddy sat stunned for a moment after Serrenedy just disappeared, then he shook himself and rose from his seat. He marched up the stairs and back to his room with a new purpose. He was nervous about the idea, but he was not going to back out of it. What good could come of staying here, anyway? There was no convincing his parents to accept what he was and, given enough time, they would probably convince him to just hide it completely again. He couldn't do that; it would hurt too much. So, nervous or not, he did not have any other choice. At least there was Serrenedy, Teddy thought gratefully. He hoped he wasn't imposing too much by accepting her offer. Of course, the way she just bequeathed him a wing... just where the heck did she live, anyway? Teddy's home had two stories and a basement; nothing even remotely like a west frigging wing. If her home was that huge, maybe she'd hardly notice he was there at all. He could do no garlic and no crosses; he'd never eaten that much garlic anyway and he'd always kind of felt people who decorated with crosses were trying too hard to prove something. Teddy knew what he believed and he felt no need to advertise it. He took only what he would need; clothing, toiletries, shoes and the like. Teddy didn't travel, so he only had a couple of duffel bags he could fill anyway. Best to fill them with what would be most useful. Anything else he could just buy as needed once he got to his destination.

Anita looked out through the peek hole before opening the door. There was a slight look of suprise on her face. "Can I help you, Serrenedy?" she asked.

Serrenedy smiled upon lack of seeing the 'menace' "Pixie girl left her clothes and a few spellbooks at my place. S"
"I'm a Fairy" Cleo corected now on Anita's shoulder. Serenedy's eye twiched twice and she thrust out an old shoebox with various things stickingout of it.
"I just thought I should make sure one pest's out before another roomate comes in. Teddy had a row with his parents so i'm giveing him the west wing"

Anita carefully took the box and tucked it under her shoulder. "Let me guess, it was over Markus?" she asked, raising an eyebrow. "It's not the first time I've seen things like that happen. Especially in this town. If they start giving him problems that border on the illegal, then let me know. Contrary to popular belief, my job is to help hold order on both sides of the line."

Anita narrowed her eyes. "And you know that if I don't have anyone to book, there could be an execution order issued on you. Or any other known suspects." he replied her voice hard and cold. "Don't get on the wrong side of the law, Serennedy. If they cause any problems, you two just come here, or to my office, and I'll take care of it."

Anita knew this conversation was going no where. "I am just letting you know where the line was, Serennedy. If the courts decide that what you do or do not do was more than mere self-defense, not even the Master of the city will be able to protect you." she warned.
