Kimmi frowned and pulled away from Spencer. He frowned and grabbed for her as she made to follow Kay. "Hey let her just blow off some steam." He said as he missed her hand. "No somethings wrong." She said as she slid out the window. "I'll be right back I just want to check on her." She threw him a smile over her shoulder and ran off after Kay. Spencer looked pissed but leaned against the wall next to the window to wait for her.

"Kay! Kay wait up!" Kimmi yelled as she panted when she caught up with her after taking the lift. "Kay what's wrong? Geez you move fast." She said as she bent in half to try and catch her breath. "I thought I lost ya after you took the lift. That thing moves so slow."

Zack watched what happend and sighed. "and people wonder why i travel alone most of the time." he heard one of the shadow hunters (Like the name) beyond the lights and fired his rifle. he smirked when he heard a roar of pain and waqtched the thing charge at him only to die from the lights. "So whats you story." he asked holding out his hand for a hanshake. "Sorry i guess our introductions where kinda rushed." he laughed.

"Whats that supposed to mean." Zack asked a little confused. he then went back to petting Shadow and looking out for the Shadow hunters.

Kimmi frowned. "You're mad because Spencer is here?" Kimmi rushed forward and grabbed Kay's sleeve. "I don't understand, I thought you two would get along. I'm sorry if he said something wrong, he's just protective. Please give him another chance, please. I want all of my family to get along." She stored the question of where he had been in the back of her mind. She had wondered that too but hadn't asked yet.

Spencer glared at Zack. "Just what I said. Stay away from my sister."

Kay bit her lip. She had just been about to blurt out what Pinky's brother had become. But she couldn't do it, she knew what that would do to Pinky. "There is no way me and it can ever get along P. It's just not physically possible." she said through clenched theeth, sad at having to put Pinky though this and angry at that thing for making her. Kay pulled out of Kimmi grasp and walked away.

Kimmi bowed her head so that her bang covered her eyes. "I know what he is. I'm not stupid. When you hug someone you should hear a heartbeat." She said softly. "But he hasn't hurt anyone, and he means so much to me." A tear fell to the sand. "I'm sorry, I just don't want to loose him again. I didn't realize how hard it would be for you two to be around each other, and I guess that was selfish."

Kimmi nodded as she wiped her eyes. "He'd never hurt me Kay." She reassured her. Of all things she was unsure of in this world that wasn't one of them. No matter what Spencer would never hurt her, she knew that for a fact. Kimmi looked at Kay and fidgeted a little. "I thought maybe he might know where the puppet master is. That he could lead us straight there." She hadn't said anything to him about knowing what he was because she didn't want to call him out in front of the others. She was worried about what they might do to him.

"Just promise me you'll be carefull. I don't know what I'd do if you got hurt." she said softly as she turned to walk away. Kay reached into her pockets and pulled out another cigarette, this time taking her time as she lit it. She walked away slowly, not looking back. Walking over to a boulder near by she sat down. Noticing her jacket ripped she touched the blood around a deep slash in her arm. "Well that hurts." she looked over her shoulder at her back. Seeing three deep gashes running diagonal down from her left shoulder. "And that doesn't feel so good either." Kay took a puff of her cigarette and rubbed her eyes, "The world's gone to hell all over again..." she muttered, eyes closed.
