A Perfect Circle is a good band...
as is Cradle Of Filth
i hav ealso been listening to alot of R&B and Hip-Hop. some of it oldschool, like Gangsta Rap, but also some of the newer stuff. i like Ghostface Killah, Talib Kweli, Tupac, B.I.G., Bone Thugs'n'Harmony, Outlandish, Fort Minor, Sweatshop Union, P.O.D., Eminem, Flypside, Black Eyed Peas, and stuff like that.
also a ton of Folk music (some Celtic Folk and some Medieval Folk, and some Modern Folk), and Bebop, Smooth Jazz, Classical Jazz, Swing, Synth Rock, Soft Rock, Hard Rock, Punk, Metal, Deathmetal (i am picky about it though, i hate thrash metal and most speed metal), Funk, Disco, Trance, Goa, Emo (not the crappy kind please. >.> i mean like Breaking Benjamin, and Alternative stuff like Linkin Park), and finally the wonderful music of Natalie MacMaster and Loreena McKennitt.
