Being awken with the sun shining on her face, Marie Jumped out of bed and accidentilly fell on the floor. "Ouch, great That was a bad night of sleep. Oh well time to interigate the creature, I wonder if Vlad is already down there." Marie got up and dressed for the new day. She came out of her room and went to the creature to still see him in the cage she left him in.

Vlad is sitting in front of the cell as Marie enters, "Good. I was about to send for you."

Harper woke up gaged and tied up in ropes. He looked around and didn't recognize his surroundings. People ran around getting ready for somethign.one person looked at him. He then signaled a coupel of other people to come look at me. They all gathered around him. Harper then started coming into reality. These people didn't look like anyone he knew. He had been kidnapped by the Strange People. They were going to use him as a hostage. He tried squirming around but then another person came up and knocked Harper unconsious again.

"I'm sorry if I kept you waiting. I passed out before fully reaching my bed, I used alot of my strength last night." Walking over to Vlad Marie adjusts the cage for the two of them to get in with out being hurt. "Do you know how to decode a different language at all?" Marie looked at him and while waiting for his anwser she pulls out an ancient book of spells and disguises to help. Mean while the creature looked at the two of them curious, terror in his eyes with a blank face.

"Don't worry, I just got here myself. I was a bit fatigued myself. Yeah I've worked out a spell that auto-translates. Comes in handy with foreign dignitaries and such." Vlad casts the spell

Marie slightly laughs, "I'm very impressed with your level of magic." Looking at the creature Marie walks over and kneals down to it's eye level. Marie speaks in the creature's most common language, latin and says, "Qualis of creatura es vos? Quis erant vos effectus in palace hortus?" ((In english, "What kind of creature are you? What were you doing on palace grounds?")) The creature squints its eyes at her and mumbles more, slightly grining.

Marie looked back at VLad and said, "Did you get anything from what he said? I think he understands Latin but doesn't speak it, unlike the rest of the creatures." The creature still grinned at them and mumbled the samething over and over again.

Vlad looks at Marie, "Yes, yes I did. So the thing can't speak or just isn't? Are we going to have to use some kind of telepathy?"

Nodding her head Marie satand up and looks into her book. "Vald what was the spell you used, what was it called? I might be able to magnify it's power." While flipping through her book Marie pushed out her fangs, usually blood was needed to to magnify a spell and she wanted to scare the creature too. Mean while the creature stared at her book and paniced. He ran to the edge of her cage and was wounded but kept running around. Marie dropped her book and ran over to the creature. "It's trying to kill it's self!" Marie came behind it and held it still and pressed on it's temples to make it pass out. "Well looks like I will need to use my telepathy. But it would help to know what your spell is called too. I'll still have to magnify it's power.

"It's a custom spell. Grandiose wording isn't my thing so I jusy called it comprehend languages."

Grabbing her book she looks for custom spells that deal with languages. "I found a general version of all the language magnifying spells, but I need your blood. It says I have to mix our blood." Looking up at Vlad she asks, "Is that alright with you? There is another that doesn't require your blood, would you rather that I use that one?"

"Alright if you're sure, we'll have to combine our blood." Marie grabs a smaller dagger and pulls it out. She places it on the table and with ink she made a symbol and placed a chalace in the center. "Are you ready?"

Vlad rubs his left hand a bit nervously, "Yes, as long as this won't grant you some kind of power over me. Though I do like assertive women."
