"Oh!" M.A. laughed now, genuinely. That water cannon... Jeez, did she have fun with it. No one in Fallorbor was spared. Well, except Michael, whom she was just starting to get along with; she'd considered pointing it at him, but considering he had Jin on his side, she decided it was against her best interests. The fact that Kilik had gotten a dollhouse made it even richer. But Mr. Ranmo looked different now... Dare she say it? Rounder? "I remember now," she grinned happily. "I loved it, just so you know."
Her sunny smile drifted to Kilik momentarily before she turned back to her parents. "Yup! I... think they're in Slateport, or at least nearby. Just give 'em a ring. I'm sure my mum and dad would be glad to see you all again," she said cheerfully, waving as they left.
"No, it's alright. At least he's in... good health," M.A. said, deciding on that last word with a laugh. "No really, he seems fun though. A big dinner does, too." She looked at Flareon and Elekid next. "Hey fellas!" She was preeetty sure Flareon was a guy, and giggled. "Lookin' good there."

Giving her mother a strange look for a second Robin took a step forward before bending down so that she was closer to her new pokemon. "Um... Hello there Brook, my name is Robin." Brook looked up at her through black eyes for a moment not doing anything. Nervous Robin glanced over at Luffy who just grinned at her before looking back at Brook. "And erm... I hope we can get along as we travel together."
The small Hoppip just stared up at her for a moment before a big smile appeared on its face. He got this pretty lady as a trainer? This was great! Brook couldn't help the smile that appeared on his face. "Hohohoho!" He couldn't help the happy cry that came out of him. Spinning around the Hoppip could barely hold back his enthusiasm.
Robin couldn't help but feel relieved as she was accepted by Brook, she also couldn't help the smile at her new pokemon's laugh. It sounded just like Brooks! If her mother hadn't named him that she would have gone along and done so herself. Not able to help herself Robin pulled the small pink and green pokemon up into a hug. In her arms Brook couldn't help but squirm happily, how could he help it he was pressed right against his lovely trainers chest! "Hohohoho!" He laughed happily before he was let go. Standing up Robin went over and hugged her mom glad that she had given her such a cute pokemon. She did feel kind of bad that her parents had no pokemon to keep them company though. Maybe if she saw something in her travels she could catch it and send it back? "Thanks so much Mom."

Mitsu cracked a small, feeble smile as she watched the family. They appeared to know each other. Families made her a bit nervous though. When she snapped back into her senses she realized she was the only one left at the table. Well, aside from her Gengar who had consumed the bag of candy and pushed the bag itself onto the floor. "Now, now. Don't litter Ebony," Mitsu scolded before picking up the bag and tossing it into a nearby trashcan. Should I sit here like an idiot or follow Crenu's lead and sneak out? She didn't really want to be caught in an awkward situation, expecially when it seemed like they all knew each other.
The second option it would be! Quietly as possible she rose, slung the bag over her shoulder and made her way out of the Pokemon Center. Or at least she attempted to. Unfortunately Ebony ruined her plans by popping out in front of Kilik's dressed up Flareon with a loud hiss and boo! "Aww, Ebony," Mitsu muttered. She walked over to the family feeling extremely awkward, "I'm sorry. My Gengar isn't the most well behaved Pokemon on the planet." Ebony swiftly floated over to her shoulder to avoid the Fire Pokemon and stuck his tongue out.

Crenu watched as Mitsu put up an admirable effort to do as he had done. She'd have gotten away with it too if her Gengar had resisted it's own natural urges. He grinned a little as he made his way towards the exit, before having a small change of heart. It wasn't completely her fault, so he decided to help her out. "Hey Mitsu, sorry to bother you, but can you show me around the area real quick? I need help finding something." He waved her over rather vigorously, something he didn't know he could even do. "Sorry to steal her away from you, I'm Crenu by the way." The smile he had plastered onto his face was very uncomfortable, but he decided to play it through.

"Uh, sure!" Mitsu called out to Crenu. "Excuse me. Give me a ring if you need me M.A.," she said turning back to the girl. She gave a small bow before backing out of the rather large group very thankful for having an excuse to leave. She walked fairly swiftly towards the exit. As the two made thier way outside the building Mitsu decided to speak up. "Thanks for that. Familes make me slighty nervous," she gave a small sheepish laugh. She definately had not been expeting him to help her out like that, it was fairly odd.
Mitsu gave a sigh. "You've had too much candy for your own good Ebony," Mitsu said to her Pokemon. She held up his Pokeball before returning him in a flash of red light. She couldn't really blame the guy, a whole family ready to prank was too much for him, especially with a bag of candy. "Guess I should have you battle sometime soon to release all that engery of yours, eh?" Mitsu said to the Pokeball before tucking it away in her bag. She turned back to Crenu, "So what's up? I didn't expect that help back there," she asked regaining most of her composure.

"Don't know, chalk it up to spurr of the moment kinda stuff." Crenu looked up at the sun again and took off his coat, it was way to hot to be dressed the way he was. He'd have to stop by a store by the time the day was finished if he didn't want to become a baked Shellder. "I didn't want to be in that sort of situation, don't imagine who would really, guess I felt sympathy or something." He turned his head in her direction and smiled a little. "I'm not heartless you know, just close to it." He looked around, the air just seemed right. After a few more steps, he casualy brought up the subject. "Want to have a battle? Your Gengar sure seems like he has energy to burn."

Mitsu laughed, she found his dark sense of humor oddly amusing. She mentally shrugged, perhaps it was just because deep down she understood what he meant. "Or something? Sympathy isn't that bad a thing you know," she said lightly returning the smile. Indeed it wasn't. Everyone needs some and everyone needs to give some as well.
She stretched a bit, the warm sun felt nice at first, but then burned a little. She was a bit too pale for her own good, she really should have gotten out more while she was in Mossdeep. "A battle sounds good I suppose," Mitsu answered. She was a tad afraid of losing but she was also curious about what Pokemon he had on him. "How does a two on two sound?"

Crenu grinned, this time it was a sincear expression of joy. It seemed that they were on the same page, give or take a few personality quirks. "That sounds perfect, two on two it is then." He was curiouse as to what pokemon she was raising, even more curiouse as to how strong they were. It was clear that she allowed her pokemon to retain their natural behaviors for the most part, it was going to be interesting to see what other personalities she had in her party. "Sympathy may be good every now and then, but you won't get any from me in a battle."

Mitsu grinned, "I'm not expecting any." She wished she had Nightmare here for this battle, but he was still recovering with her adopted brother Touya. Hopefully she'll get to see him soon, she missed her rather large and violent yet kind Gyrados. "I suppose we'll start off with Ebony. He needs to burn out all that energy anyhow." Mitsu tossed up the red and white Pokeball in one smooth motion. The ball looped upwards before releasing the ghostly Pokemon with a devilish grin plastered over his face. "Let's have some fun Ebony," Mitsu smiled to her Pokemon who took his cue and slowly began to seep into the earth below just lik how they started off thier battle at Norman's gym. The defesive tactic seemed to work well and played well with Ebony's love of pranks and surprises. Mitsu silently wondered how Crenu would deal with it. She expected that he'd have somewhat of a maneuver to evade this rather simplistic, but tricky tactic since his hometown gym leader was sure to have a few Gengers here or there. Ebony's hissing laughter rang eerily through thier makeshift battle field as they awaited Crenu's first Pokemon.

Her mother just smiled at her daughter rubbing her back slightly before they separated. "Technically we haven't captured him so he is a wild pokemon right now, how about you give him a pokeball while I pack away your suit." Robin's mother suggested before turning to the bags on the counter.
Nodding Robin turned back to Brook who was looking up at her happily. Standing next to the Hoppip was Luffy who seemed happy with his new Nakama, Razputin was perched up on the other's head between the feelers. Bending down again as she reached back to her belt that held her pokeballs she held it out in her palm in front of Brook. " If you would like to travel around with Luffy, Razputin and I we would all be very happy. You don't have to but you are very welcome to join us." She wasn't quite sure what to say and hoped she didn't look like an idiot right now. Before she could say anything else one of Brooks feeler leaves pushed forward and pressed the small white button on the pokeball. In a moment he was a red blur of light as he was sucked into the pokeball. The ball didn't even really rock before a bing was heard and Brook was now on her team.
Not wanting to keep her pokemon inside the ball for to long Robin quickly let him back out. The grin that wouldn't leave her face today appeared again and without a second thought she enveloped all three of her pokemon into a hug. "We are now Nakama and we will stick together no matter what no matter what we face. That is my promise to you three." Her voice was barely above a whisper but she meant every word of it. Finally she let her pokemon go run around the small apartment as she talked with her mother until her dad came home for a late lunch.
"Dad! It's great to see you again!" Robin cried as she jumped forward and enveloped her father in a hug.
"It's good to see you to." Her father said using one hand to rub his daughters back while he leaned forward and kissed his wife. "So I hope you have had fun on your journey so far."

In this situation Crenu had one pokemon in particular that might be perfect, but there was no fun in that. He too wanted to enjoy this battle, and taking a harder rout with more tactical wiggle room was exactly what he needed right now. "Poliwag, let's enjoy this one." His mood was suprisingly light and upbeat, but his movements were the same. He threw his pokeball straight into the battle zone and the little blue pokemon materialized into position. The only movement on his side of the field was the rapid wagging of his tail as he looked forward at the half sunken pokemon. "Ladies first." Crenu waited and watched, calculating his opponents moves. Going second would allow him time to observe his opponents strategy, though his rapid fire brain was already thinking of the possible manuevers that Mistsu would have Gengar use om his current position.

"Well aren't you quite the gentleman. Let's hope you don't regret that," Mitsu laughed before pointing a finger at the Poliwag and issuing out an order. "Ebony, Shadow Ball. And let's make this fun. Throw in a twist!" Mitsu had a few tricks up her sleeve, or at least she hoped that Crenu wouldn't have already seen them in a Gym battle, but either way it was good to start off with some a bit more predictable she thought. Ebony sunk deeper into the ground until his whole body was out of plain sight. His trainer had given him permission to have a little fun with the offensive move, and he definately intended to do so. After zigzagging back and forth a few times underground he popped up left of the Poliwag widening his eyes in a menacing glare before unleashing the the dark purple and black orb at the Pokemon. It swished with ghostly powers upon being released from his hands. His signature grin practically spelling out, "Eat this."

Crenu watched as the Gengar played out his move. It was a little more speedy than he had pictured, but this did not throw off his calculations much. He had been following the ground and looked for the first sign of a purple puddle emerging. "Ice Beam now, evade that Shadow Ball!" Poliwag didn't even turn to face his opponent, he immediately fired a weak beam at the floor he stood on. The tad pole pokemon shot upwards at once leaving a thin ice structure following his path, an ice structure that shattered upon impact with the shadow ball. Ice fell lightly to the ground like diamond dust, Poliwag along with it. "Very interesting choice for an opening move. Almost threw me off."

"Thank you, but I think you'll find the next even more so," Mitsu called across the battle field. He had a quick eye and his Poliwag was good at evading as well with crafty and, she had to admit, clever moves. "Let's keep the offensive Ebony!" Mitsu called, "Sludge Bomb! Spike style," Mitsu commanded. Instead of the usual coughing up of the toxic poison Ebony contiued to sink into the ground at an even faster rate than before. His head seemed to ooze then explode with poisonous blobs in several directions before he completely sunk in. A nice offensive move with quick defense to back it up. Mitsu smiled at the last part, defense was more her style than the typical in your face offensive but if the Poliwag managed to dodge this she may have to go with plan B and fight all out like the majority of trainers. Ebony smiled underneath the ground, his crimson eyes burning with the sheer thrill of the battle. He continued to float underneath the Poliwag and he was oh-so tempted to just reach out a hand and grab it's tail. He restrained however his trainer had said this was serious business.

"Well played." Crenu grinned as he watched. "Brace yourself Poliwag, we aren't dodging this one." Poliwag continued to look ever forward, now staring down the trainer as he wrapped his body with his tail and tightened his body to help withstand the blow. It was a strong attack and well aimed, Poliwag took a drrectl blow from a ball of sludge and rolled backwards with it to let it pass over his body more easily. Uncurling his tail and using it to come to a stop, Poliwag tried his best to shake off the pain he felt. "Now Poliwag, Rain Dance! Let's flush away this muck." Poliwag jumped upwards and began beating his belly with his tail, the ritual resulting in the small gathering of some dark clouds over their immediate area. It looked like he'd managed to avoid getting poisoned this time around.
