By force, Pixie... by force. And now some pictures! At our Burger King in Naperville... the mirrors made me feel a bajillion times more self concious than usual. I spent a lot of the time pouting about the dark circles under my eyes. Anyway, from the right: annakinz, Kiokou (in the mirror), and Enyare. Kiokou snuck a picture of me while I was on the phone with punkmonkeyspankin. So I went and saw that silly arch thing in St. Louis over the Thanksgiving weekend... that was fun. :3 Skrae is trying to explain Egyptian Ratscrew to my Taiwanese friend, Arsene. Points for anyone who can tell us what is so "Final Fantasy" about Tan. They put up lights in town, so I went with Tan and Skrae to EB Games and forced them to take pictures out in the cold. biggrin Hooray! It started snowing!I had to run around and take pictures when we first got snow! X3 It was uberly awesome when a cardinal landed in the middle of this neat bush I was taking a picture of. I wanted to get closer... but I knew I would just trip on my face and it would fly away. *siiigh*

My friend Megan calls it "Egyptian War" which makes a lot more sense to me, but Skrae insists that it is "Egyptian Ratscrew" and she's in the guild so I thought I would use her name so she doesn't go off on a rant about it.

...boy is Final Fantasy because there is unnecessary crotch-shotting and his shirt fails to entirely cover his torso. *nod* He fails at being Final Fantasy because his clothes are not nearly interesting enough, and his hair is obeying the laws of gravity, practicality and physics.
And furthermore, Miss Reko, I insist that snow is not all that exciting. The novelty does, in fact wear off. sweatdrop Then again, in our last 'cross-campus trek, one of my housemates spent the entire time faceplanting to make snow-angels, so it could just be me who's not so enthralled with the fluffy white stuff of cold and car-freezing-shut-ness. rolleyes

It was simply a joke. He rolled up one of his sleeves and tried to get Skrae to guess what the connection to FF was. She didn't, and I laughed and exclaimed that clothes were often uneven and shiz in FF. Coincidentially, my friend had given me a Tidus toy/model/doll thing that displayed this generalization... and he was sitting right there and my dresser. Anyway, you get partial points. And we've been through the snow thing, Pixie. You would probably share my enthusiasm if you grew up in Hawaii. xp And that is just too perfect, Yngwie. xd

You would probably share my enthusiasm if you grew up in Hawaii. xp And that is just too perfect, Yngwie. xd I totally agree on the "if I'd grown up in Hawaii" thing...but sadly, I did not. I am disillusioned, jaded and bitter when it comes to winter, not helped in the least by the fact that my car has frozen shut, and once I pry it open, the doors refuse to re-shut. So not helpful on the wee-hours-of-morning Krispy Kreme runs. *shaking of fist* My car is so not old enough to be doing this *@#& already. Huzzah partial points! I was just sort of winging it, and had stared lustfully at screencaps of FF 12 for far too long. Must get game. So tasty. So androgynous(holy hell, some of those characters should so be female)....all that aside, I'd say boy was good at the FF thing. *much nodding and ending of the sleep-deprived ramblings*

Mmm... I was gonna warn Kaze, but it appears to be too late.
*shrugs*
FFXII looks kinda cool, but I'm not too eager to get it. My roommate reserved a copy (annakinz) and I've sat around, watching her play it. The characters and the voice actors are cool, but meh... I didn't squee, jump around, and scream "I WANT IT!"

Reko, right as FFTan walked out of my room I figured it out. And the card game is whatever you want to call it. That is what I'm used to. God, Arsene is sooooooo oblivious... And Tan was just funny. I'm so not photogenic. I look really weird in the cold pic. And stupid in the other.
