Ingoreing the whinny, Amy quicked her pace, making her jog into the stable soon being out of sight. She felt like packing and leaveing the fort. If you father was good at training mustangs why wasn't she? Amy slid opened Sundance's stall and plopped herself in her stall.
Sundance reached down and stretched her neck blowing softly in Amy's ear. "What's wrong Amy?" Sundance snorted. Kowning Amy couldn't hear her, it still felt good to talk to someone.
Amy sighed, scartching Sundance's forehead. "If my dad was so good at training horses how come I'm not?" Amy murmed softly pulling at Sundance's tangled forelock.

Kalypso snorted and shook his head, then beagn walking towards the stable, tugging on the leadrope. "Come on, come on!" He whinnied at Johnson, a strong urge wanting him to help comfort Amy.

"She needs pratice she'll find her groove." Johnson patted Kalypso and tugged him towards the stables after Amy. "I guess I should go talk to her." He walked up behind Amy clearing his throat. "You know Amy not every one is good with horses. You have talent you just have to find your method, how you work best. It won't be the same with all horses, you have to change depending on the horse you can't expect them to like you right off the bat. Start by earing their trust then work slowly up."

Kalypso walked with Johson into the stable and stood quietly next to him. He took a few steps closer into the stall and lowered his head and blowed warm air onto her face and nudged her cheek. He picked his head back up and looked at Johnson againt to make sure he hadn't left, then lowered his head to Amy again, glancing up at Sundance for a second.

Getting startled, Amy looked up over her shoulder, seeing Johnson their. Nodding she said "I know It's just that....never mind....it doesn't matter." Amy said turning her attention back on untangleing Sundance's forelock. Amy stopped with she felt Kalypso's touch against her cheek. She smiled a little.
Sundance looked up to look at Kalypso and Johnson. She snorted softly, letting her untangle her forelock. Smiling she snorted to Kalypso. "Don't worry. He won't leave. Even if he did Amy wouldn't hurt you." Sundance snorted,

Wildfire snorted as she was led into the stable. She pulled her lead rope out of the hands of the young boy that was putting her in her stall and trotted over to Amy. She nudged her with her nose, nickering softly. She liked Amy and Johnson.

"See Amy your popular with the horses. Training them might not be your strength yet but you'll get there. You can work with Rusher later to get some of the skills down then try to work with another horse." Johnson placed his hand on Kalypso's back, keeping it there so the stallion would know he was there. He patted Wildfire with his free hand.

Amy smiled. "Thanks Johnson. You've been a great help." Standing up she gave Johnson a hug. She smiled and scratched Wildfire's nose."How are you girl?" Amy smiled, watching Sundance nuzzle her freind. She reached out to try and stroke Kalypso seeing if he would let her.

Kalypso smiled at Sundance, then lifted his head once Amy had stood up. When she reached out to touch him, he tossed his head for a moment, then stood still, allowing her to stroke him.

Amy stroked him three times before letting go and scratching Wildfire's ears. "Good boy." She said to Kalypso smiling.

Kalypso nickered at Amy softly, his ears pricked forward. Her hands were soft unlike Johnson's rough and calloused hands, although he very much enjoyed being stroked by him. He snorted and nodded his head repetitively.

Amy smiled. She contiued to scratch the ears of Wildfire and reached out with her free hand to stroke Kalypso. Stroking his muzzle gently she murmed soft words to him.

Kalypso shook his head, sending his mane flopping everywhere, then stayed still while Amy stroked his muzzle. His ears flickered around to both Sundance and Wildfire, then Johnson and Amy, and back again.

Wildfire nickered softly, making a sound almost like a purr. Her tail swished contently. she was a bit bummed out about not being ridden by Gwen, but loved all the attention she was getting. She snorted nipping at her stomach as the foal kicked.
