Yeah, I know what you mean.

PM's won't work right now, so I'll just have to settle with putting this here:

I was just wondering, I really want (or feel I need) to see this video (Here), but I'm not sure exactly what's in it. If you've seen it before, does it show everything? Like, more than it needs to? Or is it just an ultrasound image? I'm kind of hesitant to see it. Is it really that bad?

Yeah, me too. sweatdrop

Either way, it's steal an actual abortion, so it wouldn't matter if some of the babies in the trashcan were stillborn, etc.

Pyrotechnic Oracle
No, not gorw, mearly dispurse. We crowd and cram ourselves into cities and over crowd them, giving them the illusion of world over population
Yes! That really ticks me off.
"Dur, the world is over populated."
"Um, obviously, you've never visited Texas. Or any other central-western state."
"But what about New York??? Isn't it proof that there's over crowding???"
"New York is full of silly people. rolleyes "

Really, I don't understand why people would live in New York, unless they had truck loads of money. Why don't the poor people find some way to get out of town? Move west? Blah. Maybe we should instigate something like the old westward-pushing-thing. Like, cart large groups of homeless people from New York and/or LA to some empty piece of land, possibly purchased from someone in Texas (Very empty, not all land is even used for cattle grazing, but pretty much every inch is owned by someone...) So we teach them how to farm and hunt and whatnot, and they form their own little community. Like Australia, except not everyone would necessarily be criminals.

Overpopulation is actually based off of the earth and how much the earth is supposed to be able to support according to its resources. As of right now we're about 3 times over that limit. However this is not due to people having more kids (as people are actually having less kids than they did 100 years ago) it's due to longevity. This means that we've got a whole lot more, and older, old people than ever before. Also aiding this is the baby boom generation.

However when the old people die off, at the rate people are having kids, in like 50-60 or so years, the world population is supposed to drop dramatically.

People have been complaining about overpopulation for a long time. I figure unless it becomes a real problem then it really doesn't matter.

Yeah. I doubt they're be an overpopulation problem for a long time, if ever. So it's nothing to worry about.

lol! My brother accidently mixed brownie mix with chocolate cake mix... ugh, it's disgusting! He doesn't know about it, yet... he almost forgot to take it out of the oven but Mom brought it out. xd

Ew. Well at least the top tastes good. whee

I'm sorry guys but over population IS a problem. It's not based on space, as I've said, it's based on world resources. I have yet to see any actual evidence against over population.

Perhaps some people don't want to SEE the overpopulation problem.

However, either way, I DESPISE when people use that as an argument FOR abortion.

As if you're doing good for the world. rolleyes

I still -seriously- doubt that it really is a problem, at least in the states. Like I said, there are acres and acres of land here in Texas that aren't really used for anything. And China, though it does have an actual overpopulation problem, does pretty well with the space it has; If it's food and such, we should just take a leaf from China's book and make better use of our farming land.

It really has nothing to do with space. Canada is the second largest country in the world, it has a smaller population than the United States, however that doesn't mean there's no such thing as over population.

Over population is based on the amount of food/water/air the earth is supposed to produce for not only humans but all the other animals. Also in China there extreme amounts of people who are starving.

How about this overpopulation isn't a problem in Canada/the US, but it is a problem in other places such as India or China. Making an abortion argument on overpopulation here would be ridiculous because the fact is that there is plenty of space/resources. In other places it might be valid because there is overpopulation.
