Well anywho, I started toying with the idea of an explosion/injection on impact bullet. There could be a retractable sleeping dart type, it would hit the subject and then spring back to the gun. It makes it seem as if an insect has bit them and wont alert the enemy, slowly they would fall asleep or it could be modified for killing or a medium for a virus.

How would you get it back into the gun? A fishing reel? Outside the bullet would become cluttered with so much gunk as to be unusable.

"Spring...? But anyways, I like the idea. We could use viral infections, something as mild as Strep, and I'd be effective in nulling their ability and will to fight."

General Ironwolf "Spring...? But anyways, I like the idea. We could use viral infections, something as mild as Strep, and I'd be effective in nulling their ability and will to fight." That would take about half a week to take effect... Meanwhile you need to have shot them all at one point or another... Why impair their ability to fight at all? Either shoot them and be done with it, or hit them with some Hallucinogens or perhaps some Tranqs

You don't just shoot them and get down with it! It is to be used for stealth missions with multiple subjects. The bullet is more of a small dart like ammunition that fits as conveniently as a regular bullet would, but with a cleaner entry and retract option. Location chemicals can also be inserted in the bullet for tracking subjects. I like the idea of using hallucinogenic darts...
TESTING! -Puts in a bullet with a mild hallucinogen inside and shoots Tso in the butt- Hmmm...The retract system didn't come back as fast as I expected, I'm going to have to up the power on that. Lets see how the initial contact went.... -Karazuma watches Tso patiently-

"It seems as if I need to up the drug potentcy. Perhaps some chinese food would be good Ironwolf, and I don't think it is any of your business if I need a shower. Now if you'll excuse me I feel dirty for being here all this time with no shower." -Goes into one of the equipment rooms labeled private-

A question, what kind of uniform would be appropriate for shipboard usage. I'm assuming somewhat that billowy is not the answer here...

General Tso A question, what kind of uniform would be appropriate for shipboard usage. I'm assuming somewhat that billowy is not the answer here... I would think a tight fitting uniform, but with enough room for comfortable movement.
