The Dude put his flippers into his pockets and was gonna open his mouth and prevent the outburst, but it all happen too fast, and he didn't want to interrupt Hargun. She said exactly what he thought about the situation as well and she said it with far more passion. Instead, he patted Joliette on her shoulder and grinned, putting himself between Awen and her and uttered: "Well, Joliette, didn't that look like a few talented young actors were practicing their lines. Right? How else could you logically exlain all that make up Hargun has on?"

He quirked his eyebrow at Joliette and looked at her piercingly with his baby blue eyes. Then looking down, he added:"Well, but if you excuse me now ... gotta see how lead actress over there is doing, ey? She's all yours, Awen, if you insist." - he looked back at Awen and stepped out from between the two women's line of sight.

Well, it was in Awen's hand now. The Dude patted Joliette on the back again, and trotted off to talk to Hargun. If Awen was gonna insist on disillusioning Joliette, she could do it all by her lonesome, and she could do the babysitting of a freshly broken soul all by her lonesome as well.

The Dude sat down by Hargun, and put his arm around the fuzzy shoulders: "It's okey, sweet. You are very right. No reason to be embarassed. Awen hasn't changed yet and so she doesn't know what a pain that is ... okey?" - he petted the orange hair. "C'mon ... look up ..."

Hargun muttered something rather jumbled up like any whining ninny would, but lifted her head a bit when the Dude came over. She was about to say something until Awen threw out her last words and began to whimper a bit.

"I am NOT doing well lately. First probably making Ambrose sad, now causing Awen to go up in flames.. what the hell am I doing wrong?" she then glanced over to Joliette with red puffy eyes then over to the Dude and tried to force a smile.

"Im so sick and tired of everything thats going on. We're starting to argue with each other. Is that not SAD or what?" she said and tried wiping her face off with her arm.

The Dude didn't pay attention to Awen's hatefull glare, but he heard the comment and he hear the door slam. Good, one less woman on a verge of a nervour break down to deal with. And Ian had made himself scarce, too, which the Dude didn't blame him for at all. He smiled at Hargun and grabbed a napkin from a nearby napkin holder, giving it to the sniffling bat-girl. Then he continued, in a low voice, so that Joliette wouldn't have an easy time hearing it:

"No no, don't be silly, Hargun. I'm not even sure what you are talking about in terms of Ambrose, but he's a big boy and yes, he doesn't like his new fur coat, but he'll get used to it. He's just being overly sensitive on the subject. And it's okey to voice your opinion. It's good that you spoke up right now and it's okey if Awen disagrees. It's her oppinion and this is yours. I agree with you and if you hadn't said it, I would have. We are not helping Moreau here. Not at all. Don't worry."

He patted her on the shoulder again: "C'mon, brave face, Joliette's coming."

"Uhm, thats ok, you are all right though... right?" she sounded unsure of herself the arguement had brought her confidence down a little and she was back to what was her normal self.. rather reserved if it had nothing to do with her work.

Hargun sighed "Yea.. she was there when we saw Ambrose's change." she said and grinned as he mentioned hitting the doctor. She flinched, but with a smile when he ruffled her hair then looked at Joliette as well, and listened to the two converse. She already heard a bit of the story.

The Dude listened intently, happy to hear that the world was becoming curious about the island. Maybe there was a chance for help coming and the FBI freeing them all and some kind of magic antiserum for Greer. He certainly perked up as he listened to Joliette: "I see ... did Mr. Sabin vaccinate you by the way. And ... erm ... do you still have that yacht?"

Oh god, please let the ship still be here ... he held his breath and crossed his fingers. Oh please oh please oh please ...

"I... don't know, I told him no when he offered me a immunization, I don't believe in them, but after I got sick I blacked out on the way to see their doctors. As for my boat, last I saw it it was lightly beached where I had seen Mr DiRossi, so unless it was moved..." she pulled the keys from her pocket and dropped them on the table, they were rather obviously rental keys and the key itself was round like one would find on a kryptonite bicycle lock "which they'd have need those for... it'd be there"
