Happily full and satisfied, poke followed the group home, at a very fast pace due to yuki's demands. When she walked into the inn she found neko there and, watched the scene play out. She only piped in, when blade had made a quick hit and run. "who the hell was that?!" she stammed, but he was gone before anyone noticed. Then she noticed the result of the attack. "AHH NEKO YOUR ******** HAIR IS ON FIRE!" This was about as much as she could do, the bartender had faster reflexes.
While hitsu and yuki went upstairs after the drama, poke decided she'd hang around downstairs and see if she could find the person who threw the fireball. Casting a eye at neko who was still on the floor she jumped over the one of the tabls and went in the general direction of were the attack was shot, which was near the stairs

Hitsu seemed satisfied for Riyo's first response; Fine was good. She smiled, "It's good to know that you've recovered." Well, recovered from one thing only to suffer from something worse. She wandered over toward the door again, "I'm going to go and get Poke and Mitsu."
"Don't go downstairs, Hitsu." Yuki ordered firmly, casting a quick look of contempt at her from where he stood. Not anger toward her, of course, but at the thought that Neko might be even more persistent without Yuki there to tear him a new one if he tried.
"I'll just go the the stairs." She assured, and slipped out the door before he could protest.
He groaned lightly, and turned his attention back to Riyo as she continued to speak. Nice, she'd said. Despite her trying to assure him of such, especially when reiterated, it didn't settle right. However, he wasn't going to pry. She'd talk if she wanted to.
He sat alongside her on the bed, watching her quietly. She appeared lost in her thoughts, Yuki was clearly concerned that she was upset, but for some reason or another didn't want to elaborate. "He wasn't supposed to leave you up here alone, Riyo. That wasn't nice of him." They'd all been traveling together for a little over a week now, why wouldn't Neko have known that she craved the company of others? Not to say he couldn't blame her, she'd probably been alone for a very, very long time before they'd stumbled upon her. The last thing he wanted to do was cause her to think she ever had to be left alone like that again.
Her final statement was softly spoken, but he heard it. He looked to her worriedly, not entirely sure what to make of it. "It's alright, if you want to talk about it, Riyo..." He smiled lightly, "We can be angry at him together." Apparently, he assumed that she and Neko had had a falling out.
In the hallway, Hitsu quickly made her way toward the stairs. She paused at the top, looking down for any of her three friends. She didn't see Neko or Mitsu, but she did spot Poke near the bottom. "Poke!" She called, motioning her up the stairs. "Where did Neko and Mitsu go?"

((I have bad / funny things planned for Neko and Mitsu 8D; No worries though your post is fine))
To Mitsu's own surprise she had manged to drink the whole glass without much problem. This seemed to please Neko as he took the glass from her and sat down on the bed. "See, it's pretty good isn't it?"
"It was...I..." Mitsu wasn't sure how to politely tell him no. It was the worst thing she had ever tried to choke down. Watching Neko as he took off his shirt and started to take off his shoes and socks she figured that perhaps he was getting ready to go to bed, which was good. "Well...umm...good night." She said softly as she moved back toward the door. Just as she was about to grab the doorknob a hand dropped down on her shoulder.
Mitsu nearly scream but it got caught in her throat as she looked back to find Neko smiling down at her. She hadn't even heard him get out of bed. "W...where are you going so fast? The night is still young." Neko already looked like he was about to pass out.
"I was just going to....going to..." And that's when it hit her. The alcohol she had drank had finally taken full effect and she felt her mind go blurry and her face flush with warmth. Unable to complete her sentence she started to hiccup placing a hand on the side of her face unsure what was going on.
"Mitsu are you okay?" Neko managed to stammer out. He had seen her face flush beet red and despite being drunk his mind still realized he should be worried.
"It...it just got so *hic* hot." Moving away from the door having forgotten why she was there in the first place Mitsu started to shed her outer layer of clothing clumsily to help cool off letting them fall in a scattered mess on the floor.
"Here, let me help you," Neko smiled sounding genuine in his statement of wanting to help.

Upon hearing Neko scream, Blade couldn't help but snicker. He wished he could see what was going on but he figured it'd be safer if he remained out of view. But just hearing the guy shriek like a little girl was good enough for him. He'll probably get to see the damage he did later on anyway.
And now.. we're even.
He heard Neko coming closer to the stairs, sounding pretty drunk. And soon enough he saw the guy walking past him with the girl he spotted with him earlier. As Neko went by, he did his best to not let out a smile as he also saw the aftermath of the fireball.
Shaking his head to himself, he went ahead and walked back into the bar. As he did, he heard someone above him ask where Neko and who he assumed to be the girl he just walked with were.
"Ah, you know him? He just went upstairs to one of the rooms."

Hitsu blinked, looking at Blade in surprise for a moment. "Oh, okay." Who was he? She'd never seen him before. How did he know Neko? Apparently, he'd made a new friend while he was down in the bar. Of course, she had no idea that he'd also met Riyo, let alone that it hadn't just been within the inn that they had gotten to know each other.
"Thank you." She offered, her voice still hinting her mild confusion. Wasn't it supposed to be a bad idea socializing with strangers on this journey? Not to say they hadn't already done just that, what with Riyo and Poke in their company so far.
Neko wasn't downstairs, so Hitsu slowly made her way down toward Poke. Toward Blade also, in result, but she seemed a little wary of him. Likely due to the fact that Yuki wasn't with her right now.

"Riyo isn't angry at Neko!" She'd accidently said it louder than she'd meant to. If anything, she'd had something to do with his leaving. He'd said earlier that day... That she had said things. Things she couldn't remember. Maybe that had happened again.
"It's probably Riyo's fault he left..." Her voice was back to quiet again, and her eyes looked genuinely worried. "He.. He was there asking Riyo a question... Then he wasn't." That question he'd asked her...
"What did Riyo do?" Spoken as if she was there at that moment again. Her red eyes grew bigger at the realization of what must have happened. "Oh God.."
He hated her now. He knew what she did, and couldn't stand it. She'd repulsed him to the point where he didn't want to be in the same room as her. That had to be it. "Neko hates Riyo now, nyu..." Her words were a whimper this time, as if she was trying to keep herself from crying. Whatever she had done, it was obviously enough to drive these 'friends' away. "Riyo's sorry..."

"No problem," replied the thief before moving further into the bar and restaurant area. He didn't know the lady, but he figured he may as well have save her the time of searching for the drunken cat demon. Though it made him wonder just how many women that guy was traveling with.
Sitting down at the bar, Blade just called for a glass of water. Right now wasn't a time he wanted to get drunk. Especially since he didn't want to end up getting into a fight or anything like that when his shoulder wasn't healed up.
"I... have a quick question for you two though," he said to the two girls, "Do you know anything about a strange stoic doctor guy that may or may not have any connection with the one in your group called Riyo?"
He decided to see if he could dig in a little more here anyway.

Yuki recoiled a little when Riyo had shouted at him, but recovered fast enough when the volume of her voice had lowered once again. He listened intently to her as she talked seemingly to herself, until she finally sounded as though she was on the verge of tears. Yuki wrapped an arm around her shoulders and tugged her against him gently. Trying to comfort her, or at least assure her that he wasn't angry since she seemed to find it appropriate to apologize to him.
"No, no..." He started, "I'm sure it's not that bad." Such an easy thing to say for one who was ignorant of the darker events of the day, "It's pretty difficult to make Neko hate anyone..." He lowered his head forward, trying to meet her eye level. "We're all just tired. He only went to get something to drink." What he'd gotten to drink was an unnecessary detail. "Don't worry about what he thinks of you. Or what anyone thinks of you, aright?"
-----
Hitsu had considered returning quickly upstairs with Poke, but when Blade had spoken up and questioned them, she instead approached the bar. She did not sit, at least not yet. The tender looked to her expectantly, but she quietly waved him away. "What doctor? You mean Neko?" Neko was very familiar with making medicines and the like, so since she'd never before seen or heard of Atticus she was only left to assume that Blade was referring to someone she did know.

Blinking at the girl's response, Blade shook his head. He didn't know any of Neko's medical skills, so he really didn't know where that answer had come from.
"Neko's a doctor?" he said before murmuring under his breath, "that b*****d... why'd he leave me to that creepy guy then?"
"No, there's this guy that's staying in the inn. Goes by the name of Atticus and he seems to know Riyo in a strange way. He's... a very... strange man I guess you could say."
From the sounds of things, she didn't know anything of this. Neko had retreated too quickly earlier so he wasn't really sure if he was aquainted with that group in general.

Hitsu tilted her head a bit at his clarification of who this doctor really was. "Atticus?" She repeated, before shaking her head slowly. "Can't say that I've even heard Riyo talk about him..." Of course, she neglected to mention that they'd barely known each other a week, not counting the fact that for most of that time the conversations weren't too revealing of her personal history. "She was all alone when we found her, we all thought that she'd just been that way her whole life, I think." That was absurd, now that she thought about it. She had to have been raised by someone for a little while, right? "Why do you ask? What did he say about her?" Not so much to pry, more out of her own curiosity. She didn't know much about Riyo herself, aside from what she'd seen within the past several days that they had traveled together.

As he expected somewhat, she didn't know anything of Atticus or his ties with Riyo. At her question, he wondered if he should say what it was exactly, but he supposed that since she should know the girl better, he might as well. For all he knew, the doctor could have been lying.
"He basically said that Riyo is unstable and needs to be avoided. Something about having seen what she's done before and that it's bound to happen again."
Taking his glass and drinking some of its contents, he just shrugged and shook his head.
"She really doesn't seem like a bad girl so I was just curious if there was anything to this warning."
Though there still was that thing that happened in the tower...

Riyo didn't resist the comforting gesture. She'd realized that it was something she couldn't bring herself to do. But, at the words 'I'm sure it's not that bad', she flinched. Not that bad?
Not that bad?!
Her intense red eyes stared directly into his, a sort of displeased look filled them. "Why shouldn't Riyo worry when the only thing she has in this world are Neko, Hitsu, Mitsu, Poke, and Yuki?" An honest question. If she lost them, she had nothing in this world.
"Yuki doesn't understand... No one has ever been so nice to Riyo... No one." Her eyes promptly closed at the ending of that sentence. The fact that they were the only things she had didn't bother her as much as the fact that...
She was probably going to loose them no matter what she did from this point on.

Hitsu frowned lightly, but gave a bit of a shrug a moment after. "She seems to have the mentality of a child... But, that's slowly getting better the more that we talk with her and the more that she sees."
"I've never seen someone like her, so I guess you could say she's not stable... But, I don't think we need to worry about her." She shook her head, "I think she'd just revert back to that quiet, feral persona if she didn't have people around her..."
-----
He had been talking about her situation with Neko, but sometimes comments aren't taken in the same way they were intended. This, clearly, was one of those times. When she stared at him, he felt a pang of guilt. That wasn't the right thing to say, at all. Despite her glance, and her saddening question, Yuki forced himself to smile.
"Because you don't have to worry, Riyo. We're not going anywhere." She said he didn't understand, and perhaps he really didn't. Though, it couldn't stop him from trying to pull her out of her pit of depression. "We're nice to you, because we care about you." He explained, "And you don't leave someone you care about..."
She'd closed her eyes, and he gently lifted her chin with his free hand, trying to urge her to open them to look at him again when he spoke. "You don't have to be afraid. We're all looking out for each other, right? I won't let anything happen to you."

Thinking about what she had to say, Blade wondered if it was really that alright to assume things. Still, he wondered just what it was that happened in the past and if there was any stock in Atticus's words.
"Hm... she does seem pretty innocent after all... I just wonder why that guy would have said such things in the first place then."
Frowning a bit, he let out a small sigh.
"I'm Blade by the way."

If only someone could give Yuki the appropriate script of what and what not to say, he might not be failing so miserably.
'You don't leave someone you care about...'
Those haunting words screamed through her head. She opened her eyes as she felt his fingers under her chin. Wouldn't let anything happen to her? She wasn't worried about that... She was worried about their safety.
"Yuki..." She started to say something. Started to tell him her worries, about what little she remembered, about the dreams... Maybe even about the man a few rooms down from them.
Her mouth opened again to continue whatever she'd been saying, but promptly closed with a sigh.
"Thanks..." She managed to push it out after 5 seconds of silence. A fake smile was all she could offer for his efforts. After that, it was right back to looking like the world was against her.
"What did Yuki do today?" Now she just wanted to change the subject... So he wouldn't have a chance to ask about anything she didn't want to say. Not to say she wasn't curious to what all of them had been up to while she and Neko were... Busy with other things.
