What is up with that guy and wads of cash? Like really. It bothers me, Elke. Elke followed, her head pounding as she watched mortals pass her by effortlessly. The beat of their hearts drummed into her mind, but she couldn't let it bother her. Though it did. She bit her lip, putting her right hand on her head as she sighed. Shop de bop de lop.

Elke stared at the both of them, quietly. Obviously, she was out of the loop. Her eyes flickered from Danny to Elle, then back again. She wouldn't ask. She'd let the crazy kid in her head read into it later like it said. That's right, fool. Sometime when I'm not so lazy. Elke cleared her throat, "So, should we find a furniture store then?" Without a reply, she gapes at the bills, a shocked look on her face. "Bloody hell, Danny. I can't take money from you." She muttered, glancing up at him.

Yes, you can. It's easy, you just take the money out of my hand and go shopping, while I go look for furniture and possibly some records... says Danny, he grabs Elke's hand and opens her palm, puts the money in it, then closes her palm.

Oh, shut up. It's not a sin to accept a gift. "I don't think I can, Danny." Elke stammered looking down at the bills in her hand. It felt wrong. She'd never held so much in her life, and he wanted her to spend it? She couldn't take it. She couldn't. You can.
