Xavior Hellzwing Damn it, I'm honestly not trying to prefer something like the luxury balls.
It gets damned expensive, and I'd spend ages catching wild pokemon. I already spend enough time trying to catch favorable natures when I have the motive.
I still pine over a Timid Houndour I could never catch.
he has an AR so he can check a pokes IVs in the menu, brings along a synchornize poke to help with nature...
and then just soft resets after a coupl catches (at least I think thats how he does it)

That makes more sense, although, I never want to touch an AR. And there's still the problem of finding the right nature on something that has Synchronize to begin with.
I have terrible luck with natures.
Hey, actually, it wasn't until I was spending hours trying to catch a Jolly Gible that I finally figured I had better find people to help.
It still is the thorn in my side.

eh, just breeding a poke with sych gives you a large variety of natures, add in a ditto with an everstone if its got a nature you want

That's what I'm most excited for. I still have generally no idea what I'm doing, or what wins, but once I get my hands on that one perfect pokemon ...
It sounds exciting to EV train it and see the difference it makes.

Oh aye, practice and patience I can do.
I was frustrated because I was positive there was always an easier way. And hey, I've already learned about RNG, the pokerader, synchronize, and flame body for example.
That's just off the top of my head too.
