Rhed King Shiny Gligar I won the first tournament of Blitzball. The one where Tidus is all like, lol ******** this and gets Wakka to play the last half.
You don't get anything special, unless a strength sphere is great. o .o I was not aware this was actually possible, i guess i either got random stat terrible-s or was just terrible. s'well, all good, my friend told me you need to do blitzball to get wakka's ult and also his overdrives, so cookie's wakka never had anything but elemental reels. still, he was our best character. xd hit something turns to stone win match ??? Profit? That was my favorite Blitzball match because it was really the only one you did risk losing; after that, the game became a bit of a cake walk.
The reason that match is hard is because you play it at a level disadvantage. To win, you have to spend the entirety of the first period passing the ball back and forth between Tidus and x (let x represent whatever teammate it is safest to pass to without fumbling or getting attacked.) Then in the second half, if Tidus is at least level 3, he can equip the Jecht Shot he learned on the ship, which will allow him to negate 2 defenders and shoot unblocked. You have to score enough goals to at least make overtime before the timer hits 3 minutes.
The last time I did it, I actually scored the winning goal with Wakka in overtime. I felt so ******** canon. cool
