Heh. This talk about art has reminded me of the time, a couple years back, when I wanted a sprite from Kraun. Thinking back on it now, it's almost hilarious how naive I was. Firstly, even though I had heard that Kraun's prices were notoriously steep, I fancied I might be able to barter with him and convince him to do for the 30-or-so k I possessed. I thought that was a fairly hefty amount of gold at the time.
HA.
Second, I wanted him to do a sprite of one of my characters, and so I sent him the corresponding description. It took him about thirty seconds to realize that the description was very similar, if not identical, to my avatar at the time. He proceeded to provide me with his opinion of creating pixellated art based on other pixels.
DOUBLE-HA.
Thinking about it now, I'm half-surprised he didn't place me on his Ignore list.

Enki - Okay~ I remember drawing your character a loooooong time ago. xD; Back when I couldn't draw anatomy properly. >__> So, you want it based off of that outfit, but more spiffed up?

That wasn't the one Ed/Kasuga/Vahn commissioned for me back when we didn't dislike each other was it...? And, ok... this is complicated. I want you... to take the look of the dress shirt look... and take the style of it and the look of my avy now... and roll with it. Based on his style and his personality (Laid back, happy and a big flirt, but can get very serious and take command if need be with almost a regal air about him... but not quite), I want you to draw what YOU think the avatar could possibly be representing ^.^

Oh wow. o___o That outta be an interesting result. It would probably take me a loooooong time before I actually finished it, but I might be able to give it a shot later. xD;

Sunny - I'm doing fairly well. :3 I'm close to half done inking Erinn's pic of Teira and Maximos, and quite happy with the result of how it turned out. : D
