::Nyx faded in. Her left hand was covered in fresh, bright red blood, which didn't seem to be her own, as there were no visible wounds on her. She let out a sigh and studied both sides of her hand thoughtfully, resting her clean right hand on her ********... How did that get there?

:::Cora enters from the guest halls. Her room has thus far provided her with the sustanance cubes she's lived off of all her life, but it was time for wine. She entered, and saw that the place was empty. She shrugged and headed for the bar:::

*Maggie fades in, her hands positioned as though holding a broom, but she stops mid-sweep as her hands go empty. She glances around, and he eyes go wide as she registers who else is there* Cora!

*Cora comes at her so quickly she nearly knocks her over. Stunned, Maggie pulls back just enough to see her face.* Cora! Ye - ye're alright! Ye're back te . . but how? *baffled, but grateful, Maggie returns the hug*

Oh my goodness!!! :::Maggie was so little in Cora's hug that she felt the urge...she lifted Maggie off the ground in a big bear hug fashion:::
Maggie! I'm back!!! It's so good to finally see you again!!! :::She had no desire to surpress her laughter. She beemed:::

Good heavens! *Maggie exclaims as she's lifted right off her feet. She laughs a little. Confused as she is (not to mention a little surprised to be swept off her feet), she's immensely thankful* Cora, I'm so glad te see ye as well, te see ye're alright! I've been so worried since las I saw ye . . . but, Cora, ye were .. . what happened?

Oh...Maggie! I...I don't know. Heh. I... The brink didn't bring me back for more than two years. I thought I would never see you again!
:::Her arms darted back around her. Her embrace was not one of jubilation like it was moments ago, but now pure thankfulness:::
But I'm back! And you're here! I'm finally back, Magge!

*Maggie blinks, still very puzzled, but she returns the hug. Wasn't that what Cora had said before . . ? Had she been away another two years?* I'm so grateful te see ye here again, and safe . . . last time ye seemed so certain that . . *she trails off, remembering their last conversation. How certain she was that she'd never be back, that she would be killed. *
*Maggie tightens her grip on Cora and closes her eyes.* Thank God. Whate'er happened . . thank heaven ye're alright. . !

:::She retunrs the grip, and just rests her chin on the other side of Maggie's shoulder. She stayed quiet for a moment, thinking about all the things she'd missed. Standing there, with a dear friend near by she finally let it out:::

You don't know how relieved I am. I was so worried about everyone. I didn't know what to think. I didn't know if the Seraphim had hurt you all, or if...or if he'd taken control of the Brink and that's why I wasn't coming back.
Oh! But it's all here. It's all like it was. Tell me everyone's alright. I have not seen everyone yet! Has everyone been safe since I was last here??

*Maggie pauses a moment, then nods, but her expression is a little distant* So far as I know, aye . . . . and I've neither seen nor heard anything new regarding the Seraphim since . . . well. *she winces a little. The last she saw of him was a giant snake's corpse in the woods outside her village* For some time now.
