@Roan: Ah, I see. So that's what it was.
@Eltoas: I guessed "Neutral" Evil because Roan seems to follow the law... At least when it's in her interests to do so. For instance, she's sadistic, but hasn't exactly been dragging hapless passerby off to her mansion so that she can torture them for pure sport. She's more goal-oriented than that, and hence has some level of control. I've also noticed her go "ah ********" a number of times as well, so I know she's not one to play by the rules, either... So Evil Neutral seemed like a safe bet.
@All: BTW, I'm can almost never on during the weekend ^^;; ... Please be patient with me until Monday swings around, okay?

@Roan: Since the Masquerade itself was defined only for the human world, would it even be too far of a stretch to say that the Masquerade isn't needed on Gaia? Consider how often the Masquerade itself is broken if taking in all of the literate "Vampire" threads... it seems almost as if it's unneeded here.

I quite agree that the avaerage Masquerade is a null and moot point on Gaia, but I DO still 'believe' in some of its other principles that SHOULD be observed.
For example, the Traditions. Also, the SCOPE of what oragnised Cainites can achieve isnt something I feel the 'public' should be aware of. What Roan does for a living wouldnt sit well with ANY race under the sun, save her own, hence the need for some of the Masquerades edicts.
And also, because I rp with Tyler and fall therefore into the groups of people who treat Gaia as another continent rather than a seperate world, the Masquerade still needs to apply in many ways to activities dealing with people from other continents.

XXXX {XInteresting point. I suppose the majority of the reasons/purposes of and for the Masquerade would depend on the view or opinion of what Gaia is defined as by each individual.

From the PHB "Lite" that I got a hold of that's a bunch of the confirmed 4th edition rules for D&D... it SUCKS. Unless they change a whole lot of the rules I just read, I'll refuse to play it. D<

Alright. I know a few of those in the guild have been questioned if they would want to go to The Pennsic War in '11. I finally got up a forum website so we can keep things in order and give more information to people easier. We're currently working on it..so it's bare right now. XD

Vampire Masquerade? I've heard of the game, but I've never played it. I think I know a friend who does, though... This same friend once created a Gaia RP I'm importing a vampire character from. He didn't base it on Masquerade, though...
... He based it on the Anita Blake series.
I've never read it myself, but the concept of a character who needs to have "emergency sex" every so often intrigues me. xd

It's a website we're working on. We're still getting information and threads created and all that jazz. It'll end up being filled with all the stuff you'll need to know about Pennsic and a place to talk to everyone that's interested in it there, too.
