Meiko did her best not to blush... She wasn't completely successful, but at least it was a very light tint, and she at least hid it some by turning her head to nudge his shoulder lightly. She wasn't used to being told she was sweet. Actually, she tried to avoid being called "sweet" or "cute." She was "too old" to be sweet or cute... That was what Miku and Rin were for. Still, it didn't bother her as much hearing it come from him. "I guess I might be a little tired... Then again, it was a busy day, and this was our second round tonight."

Souji caught the blush. He could tell she was trying to hide it. It only made her look more cute then before. He smiled lightly. "Yea it was wasnt it.... for some reason though... it feels so natural just being with you... Heh i bet that doesnt make much sense to you does it?" he asked "To tell you the truth it doesnt make much sense to me either though."

Meiko looked up to Souji and listened as he talked. He thought it was weird how normal it felt to be next to one another? How weird... No, it didn't really make a whole lot of sense. Both were from completely different worlds, not to mention the difference of- ... Well, actually, that was close to the only difference she could think of besides gender and hair/ eye colors. Both were promiscuous (so she assumed by his skill), he was pretty good at singing, in her world, she and her friends were able to use the internet the same way he used the television, and both seemed to be relatively-fun loving and free-spirited people... He was like a male version of herself, but not as bad as Meito. "Some things don't have to make sense... in my world, most things don't. You just have to shrug and go with it some times."

Souji laughed lightly. She thought just like him. Go with the flow huh. All this thinking about what he was feeling had made him forget about such a thing. But now that he was thinking about going with the flow... something just moved him from the inside. Before he knew it he had moved her face so that she was looking straight at him, and moved in for a kiss.... He was a few inches away from her lips now... should he close the distance? Would she hate him for doing so? Yea he had kissed her before in the love making but he had never kissed her before without it... would she think he was being a creeper for doing such a thing...

s**t, s**t, s**t! That barking was gaining on him far too quickly for it to still be under the control of its master! Oh, why hadn't he thought to bring a dog whistle!? No, never think of things like that. What was done, was done, and now he had to deal with it. Spy took the balisong into his left hand, and pulled out his revolver. Quieter, yes, yet with this many people that close to him, still too loud... but he didn't have a choice. He wasn't going to risk taking on a dog with a knife, not in this situation. The Frenchman turned, keeping his pace, took quick yet careful aim, and fired. Then, expecting the soldiers to start shooting, he ran. It was all he could do to try to remember to step as lightly as his weight would allow, try to disturb as little of the leaves and grass underfoot as possible. Everyone else was safe, now he just needed to get the hell out.

As soon as the phantoms came into existance, it seemed that another figure had entered the room. But more like figures, as a matter of fact. A Fool's Idol entered the room, with several copies of herself shooting off a soul arrow and easily killing several the red phantoms that were being summoned. "Honestly, you'd think a red phantom would put up more of a fight, wouldn't you agree darling?" The one she was reffering to was a blue phantom, beating down the rest that were standing. "Yes, indeed. I'm dissapointed in you, Joseph. And you as well Oomizu. At least my armor is still holding up." He commented with a chuckle.Soap saw her leaving, and tried to make sure that she didn't see this as a defeat but as a lesson learned the next time she came about. "Well, the burnt hand learns best about fire and getting to close to it." He told himself.((Dammit all, I hate being sick with something that won't go away on it's own!))

Meiko smiled lightly as she heard him laugh. It made her feel warm inside hearing him laugh. That's funny. Why had she been so worried about why she was feeling the way she did? Didn't she just say her life philosophy of not to worry about this sort of thing? But why did it still matter to her what he thought of her? Her answer came as he tilted her head up to face him. He was wanting to kiss her. It made her heart beat fast in anticipation. But he stopped. Why? She wanted him to kiss her. Why did she want that? Was he hesitating? Was he afraid she would reject him? They'd gone this far together? Why worry about rejection? It was becoming more clear why both were acting strangely. Funny how some one who had never been in love and technically "wasn't real" could piece it together than a person who was real and knew of this sort of thing. Fine. If he wanted reassurance, she would give it to him. Meiko closed her eyes and filled the gap between the two of them.
Haku walked out of the bathroom, he had down and fully dressed. She walked past him without stopping to look before she went to the door. She paused for just a minute before stating in a monotone that hid some of her hurt feelings, "I need to go. Neru-chan will worry," before she opened the door and walked out. She honestly didn't care if some one saw her right no or not. She just wanted to leave before there was any more of a chance for her to feel stupid tonight.
Oomizu looked up to see the room full of strangers helping Joseph. Why was it the man knew her name? She didn't remember him... He said something about his armor... He couldn't be the merchant from downstairs, could he? She watched in confusion as the two easily slayed the Red Phantoms with ease. It made her feel weak and child-like since she had not been able to take any of them on so easily... Not that the phantoms had had any interest in her any ways. She looked to Joseph before she ran to him with a look of deep concern. "Are you okay, Joseph-kun?"

Joseph just laughed at what had just happened. He should have known it was lord Rydell back in thecathedral the entire time. "I can't believe you! You actually managed to fool me back within the cathedral AND beat me here. I guess I still have a ways to go then." He told Rydell before turning to Oomizu "Everything's fine. Turns out Guinivere and my friend here were watching us the entire way."

Souji closed his eyes as he felt her lips touch his. They were so warm and so sweet, he kissed her back passionatly. It was a strange feeling, almost as if he could feel his soul and hers merging into one. This feeling was so warm, and seemed to consume his entire body, He could swear there was a outstanding amount of light comming from between both of them but the kiss was just so good he didnt even bother to open his eyes, all he did was wrap his arms around her and hold her closer, to the point where he could feel her heart beating alongside his.
The dog collapsed as it was shot. The troops were now firing wildly into the brush. not caring what they hit as long as they killed something.
The portal fluxed and shone brightly as Navi came back out. "SPY! Where are you!?" she squeaked as she was followed behind by Croix.
Croix quickly prepared himself for battle switching his lance into a machine gun and opening fire on the first few troops near by. Hopefully he was able to create a diversion enough for Spy to get threw the portal

Well, s**t. Spy barely had time to widen his eyes before he felt himself get hit; from the front and the back. His silhouette, translucent and red, flashed into vision just long enough to show him collapsing not far from Croix. Even though he was now bleeding to death, his only emotion was rage. The worst that would have happened if Navi had listened to him is a lucky shot would have slowed him down. Instead, she brings someone to rescue him (it was almost insulting), and his arrival gave the soldiers something to aim at, something that just so happened to be directly in front of the Frenchman. Then what does the would-be rescuer do? Fires blindly in an area where an invisible ally is trying to escape. "Baisez ma vie..." he gurgled, with surprising clarity.

Oomizu nodded before she turned to Rydell and "Guinivere." "Thank you for helping us... I don't know exactly how to fight the monsters of your world since the ones in my world use a different type of magic, but that sounds to close to me making excuses for myself. Thank you. It's good to hear Joseph-kun laugh and know he does still have friends." She smiled warmly to the two before she looked back up to Joseph. "Are you sure you're fine? Didn't you get hurt? I know my healing powers are useless on you, but is there anything I can do to help? I could try collecting souls for you like I did when you wee with that man that gave me this sword..." She was back to sounding like an over-worried little sister. Obviously, any fustration she had had towards Joseph were long gone and she was willing to co-operate with anything he told her to do once again.
Meiko felt lighter as they kissed, but she took it as being one of those stereotypical moments you see in animes where the girl's all light and bubbly and you see flowers and sparkles and other cutesy crap surround them as they share an over-exaggerated kiss. Mind you, she didn't dislike the idea, but that's how she imagined that sort of thing to go. She wrapped her arms around him, feeling warm and happy as the kiss continued. There was an unexplained feeling as they kissed, but she pretty much ignored it as they continued. When they finally broke the kiss, she looked up to him with a light blush and gave a light smile. When she spoke, her voice was not as computerized as it had been earlier (though it did still the digital sund to it). "Does this make us a couple?"

Souji actually had a small blush himself after the kiss. He looked into her eyes, as he listened to what she said. Did her voice just change? It sounded alot more normal..."Yea i guess it does.. if thats ok with you of course" he told her still holing her close. He was really hoping she said she was ok with it.
Croix noticed he had accidently shot Spy. "damit!" he said as he rushed to block the approaching troops "How the hell do you just pop out of no where" he said to him as he transformed his gun back into a giant shield and lifted Spy up on his shoulder "Dont you die on me" he said as he started falling back. The bullets were not penetrating his strong shield but if he wasnt careful nor quick he could easilly be flanked

It now being useless and a possible hindrance, Spy deactivated the cloak. "Talent..." he replied, not being able to do much else. He wanted to say so much more, but he decided he needed to save his strength until he could be taken to a hospital. The doctor there was a far better prospect than having to deal with the Medic. Honestly, what the hell was he thinking? Shooting haphazardly when he didn't even know where his ally was... Was everyone in Quasar this stupid, or just the ones he kept meeting?

Meiko chuckled very lightly and tilted her head to the side. "I wouldn't have asked if I wasn't alright with it." she laid her head against his shoulder and smiled up to him. "Honestly, the only person i could think of that would object is Luka, but that's probably only because she doesn't think I think this sort of thing out... not that I've ever really been in a relationship with any one..."

"Jack you there?" Emmet called "I need you to come over to the security room ASAP"
Souji laughed lightly "Its ok... we are pretty much on the same boat actually. I have never... really been in a relationship myself. This is all new to me... but i really wouldnt have it any other way..." he told her. "Hmm something that caught my attention though.. did you just like change your voice?" he asked
Croix had made it to the portal. Finally, they were ganna go home, He quickly phased through the portal with the spy at hand making sure Navi followed. after everyone was accounted for, the portal sealed up. "Come on lets get him to the hospital" Croix told Navi.
"OOo but we have to be careful with the Cop Bots, he is still technically a felon..." She told Croix.
